This review is for the Arrowhead credit Union call center in Riverside specifically for Amber number 5842... she is an excellent staff and did her due diligence to take care of the two problems that I had. I was talking to someone before her who was unwilling to help me, quoting procedure and then miraculously we were disconnected and when I called back, Amber answered and saved the day. She is excellent she should be teaching, a courtesy course to all incoming staff that work in the call center in regards to customer service and professionalism. She is an excellent employee and you should keep her on staff and give her a promotion. She is clearly a leader. read more

If I could give this place a negative rating. I would gladly do so. My family have been banking with arrowhead for years. I started as a baby and grow up with this bank. I had car loans and etc. and always paid my dues. Unfortunately I've been handling recent death stuff and I needed to make a quick run to the bank as I am in the bank checking my account since it's been a while. I noticed my account significantly low. This corrupt institution took money from my savings without any proper notification and said it doesn't matter my money is theirs and tough luck. The money was a big blow and I'll accept it but what was so upsetting is the fact they took money without properly notifying any account owner. TIP: everyone make sure you have no one else on your account if you don't want them on it. Especially offspring. If your account was created by your parent at youth and it was handed down to you. REMOVE THE PERSON who created your account. Add them as a beneficiary but don't keep them as joint account holder. Arrowhead will NOT notify you. Shame on you and your institution. read more

Arrowhead CU has always been good to me and my family. All the people who work for ACU are awesome. The only complaint that I personally have is with the Account Balance notifications that can be set up to email and/or text you notifications about account balance. Personally I would prefer to be notified about "Available Balance" not "Current Balance" on set account that has this activated. read more

I waited for over half an hour without any assistance, and when dealing with the staff, they left me waiting for more than an hour and a half to process my documents, which I had brought in the first visit as per their request. What a great set of people to work with on your Banking! Initially started with Rialto branch to start but was directed to Fontana (did not realize was here) to have some docs signed with a Notary. Came in at 10 am on Saturday and waited a few minutes but was pleasantly surprised to have Megan help us. Our signing took a little while but she was very professional in everything and explaining each document. I would highly recommend using Arrowhead for all your banking needs!!!! read more

Most people don't have access to this type of service, and in this day and age where identity theft is everywhere, the value of this service cannot be measured. All of our documents were shredded while we were there, so there was no question that they were properly handled. Everyone involved was very curteous and professional How can you bank anywhere else?? Poor structure and explanation as to why what was originally states has changed. Was approved for an auto loan for X amount with putting down 4k on other vehicle to balance out debt to credit ratio. Drive to AZ to purchase vehicle of choice, and now the terms/fees change and I'm told to put money down. Poorly explained, especially for a long standing customer with several paid car loans from Arrowhead. I expect better. read more

Today, I want to give a "Huge" Shout Out to employee Amanda and Supervisor Rebekah. When I entered Arrowhead to take care of personal business, Amanda was sitting in the front and gave me a gracious smile with the most humble greeting, "Welcome to Arrowhead can I help you?" Most employees, that have to multi-task have such a horrible attitude. Until, I want to leave, drive to Starbucks and purchase them a coffee in order to perk them up with a motivation to pursue positive customer relations. Amanda, was the opposite... I want to tell the public that today we went to the Credit Union on Highland with the idea of getting help from Roberto Fonseca, but he was busy, so I was attended by Jennifer who was bilingual and gave me great service to open my account in the account I wanted to open. For the second service that I was looking for, she transferred me with Robert whom I was looking for from the beginning. Then, he came out to help me with a kind smile, greeting me with my name. Then he invited me to come through to his office and from the moment that I took seat, he already knew what I was looking for. Once he started working for the service I was looking for, I asked him a series of 6 questions to be exact, related to national and international market, and he had the capacity, concentration, ability, transparency to clear each one of my questions, and aside from answering my questions, he achieved the approval for what I was looking for. Also, he did it in bilingual English/Spanish form. I want to let you know that Mr. Roberto Fonseca is an example of having the concentration and will to give service of 100%. Stay away from vehicle loans with Arrowhead Credit Union. I make payments on my vehicles then pay an additional amount a couple days later to go straight to principle, which I do with other loans and not had a problem, but with Arrowhead they still charge interest on the additional payment made and after calling them they refuse to waive the interest charged. read more

A lady with a special needs child in a wheel chair was struggling to open and get through the door to exit the establishment and 3 employees literally just sat/stood and watched this happen. Bad customer service, condescending, rude call people out of their name at this location. I went to exchange bills one day, the "manager" only wanted to do 1/2 the amount, then I asked to speak to the manager of course she got an attitude and says "I am the manager" anyways by the end of going back and fourth with her being petty she exchange the smaller bills in full for the amount I asked for first. This location is very prejudice and disrespectful. I get better customer service in Beverly Hills surprisingly. Went a few months later to open an account, the employee was very rude, condescending made sure to include the name of the sucker was a "dum-dum" instead of just asking if my son wants candy, she is miserable so she is projecting her sorrow on the customers. I attempted to open a savings account online but it said "my identity couldn't be verified" so I went in with my ID and proof of residency and in just a few minutes it was all cleared up. The entire process took me about 10-15 mins (probably would have been faster but the address on my id was wrong so that's what needed verification). I have been a member of the ACU since the early 80's, and every branch with the exception of the Fontana in Highland Village branch, have great customer service. It seems like every time I go to the Fontana branch there is a young man in the back who watches over the customers as if he were security at a 7-11 hawking high school kids at the end of school for stealing. While waiting for my elderly mother in the back of the ACU to complete a transaction at one of the windows, I could see this young man staring at me. After approximately 10 minutes, he left his podium and walked to the back and approached me, no hello, may I help you, just "Are you waiting for someone?" I said yes I am, after another 2-3 minutes he then instructed me to distance myself from another customer who had just stepped in to use the change machine. Now the reason I was not at the window with my mother and at the back of the store was for social distancing. I was already at least six feet away from the customer at the change machine. I understand we are in uncharted waters as far as the pandemic goes but a little common courtesy goes a long way. Remember, you're in the business of customer service. read more

By far the worst Arrowhead I've been too. How do you operate a bank with only one banker? Let me start by saying I came in here a previous time to open an account and I had to leave after an hour of waiting to be seen. So I came back another day. Then after waiting for about forty-five minutes to be seen to open an account a few more bankers came out from the back. Two hours later and we finally got seen by a banker to open an account. Marybeth attended us and she was lovely and very informative. Almost two and half hours we are barely walking out. Do not come here unless you want to waste your whole day here. read more

I have been an arrowhead cu member for about six years now. I reside outside of the state of California and recently due to the pandemic was informed that many shared branch services had been suspended. as a result I made a deposit via atm only to have a hold placed. When calling into the customer service center for assistance/resolution I was given the run around by an Andrea. I was asked to provide additional information and upon doing so was left to figure out what was going on as I didn't receive the promised call back after waiting for a full weekend. I called the CS center back and was told there were 3 Andreas that worked there and my account notes had to be reviewed to see who had helped. When the rep Steven returned to the call he proceeded to tell me Andrea had left for the day and that nothing was going to change and to just wait. After asking to speak with someone else I was transferred to Sara ID 2152 who took the time out to review and release a portion of the funds and then provided me with an impossible task of obtaining information from a third party financial institution in which I was informed that when a cashiers check is issued it is a withdrawal and not handled the way a check written off an account would be. I have always been under the impression that the "members matter" however I have been treated more like a criminal as I am reminded about high amounts of fraud during this pandemic and so I am truly in disbelief that instead of making sure I am okay in this moment in time I am playing circus games with reps who don't seem to truly have my best interest at hand.. read more

Though I don't bank at this credit union, I've been able to access my accounts (at another credit union) through Arrowhead's ATMs and occasionally through their tellers (when the ATMs are out of order, like today!). Well I went inside to complete my transaction, waited 15 minutes in line, told the teller that I banked at another credit union when I first walked up to the window. After collecting my bank debit card and drivers license, he proceeded to attempt some transaction on equipment under the counter (which I thought strange). Apparently he was attempting to do a cash advance transaction for me, instead of a withdrawal from my checking account, like I requested. After clarifying my request, he proceeded to tell me that despite being part of the Co-op network, Arrowhead no longer services customers from other credit unions. NOT a good customer service ploy! I recently considered switching to this credit union for all of my banking business. I'm extremely relieved that I did not! Consumers beware--these guys are shady! read more
