Recently, we had situation to rebook the ticket on the day of travel, the agency members are very bad in responding to the queries. No one understand the situation of the client and trying to help, each person in the shift will say - we are working on it sir, give us sometime and get back to you then the next shift person will start from the beginning, we need to explain from the beginning and he/she will say the same answer - we will get back to you. The most disappointing things to hear from them - 1. you need to contact airline helpdesk from airport 2. the airline Helpdesk is not available. This answer came from shift lead. I need to conference him and airline helpdesk to speak. Probably, I would have made 20 calls and 25+ emails, spent 10 hrs.. times to get the ticket rebooked. Despite we told them ready to pay for additional charges which we did finally almost 85% of original ticket price for the family, they took 2 days time to rebook after the trip got cancelled. that too not for the actual destination which we want to go. I need to book domestic flight to go to final destination because of the situation. This is worst part of starting summer vacation after months of planning and getting the plan ruined like this. False advertisers, When you search for an itinerary the site shows a price and when you try to book the itinerary after completing the card details when you click "Book" you will get an error message saying unable to book and to call them directly. When you call them directly they ll say their site has issues and they will book it with them and the price for that itinerary has changed and is higher now and they ll ask you to "Zelle" the new amount. If you say you dont want to "Zelle" it but pay using a credit card they will give a significantly higher amount. So they just want you to transfer money directly that too a different higher amount than what you see on the website, you cannot use a credit card and expect a reasonable price for the same purchase. If you Zelle it then your money is gone with a credit card you can dispute a transaction if there are issues. So basically the site is a non functional front to hustle you into calling and paying more money than what you thought you will get and that too direct money transfer not a credit card transaction. read more

And for any cancellations, this company will charge $250 on top of airline fee and also force you to may $110 additional fee upfront through zellle before initiating the refund requet,, And there is no guarantee that you will receive refund. When I called them they said we can't book the tickets by online by credit cards. I used Citiair travel first time and it was a nightmare. It was Xmas time and I had to fly on 22 Dec. Tickets were expensive. Agent-Prince DeSilva messed up my tickets and asked $200/tickets to change. He mix n matched the airlines. He called to say-1 check in while flying to India and 2 check in flying back to US. Later calls to say it will be 1 check in both ways. The agent does not answer and on requesting the supervisor, I was told once available, they will call. No calls received. I would not advice anyone to use Citiair Travels. While calling to confirm my seats for the return journey to US, I am told I am authorized 2 check ins!! I had 2 confirmed meals but Indigo did not provide me food on an international flight!!! It was Indigo flight from IGI to Doha before connecting to US. When I raised this- they refunded extra payment and messed up ticket. So I ended up paying for round trip, and after my one way travel was done I tried to reach out airlines for re-scheduling. My recommendation is not to engage Citiair(Shitty air) for your travel. While booking the ticket, I had agreed upon a price, but the agent had failed to block the booking and I had to pay $300 per ticket for 4 tickets. Since it was peak time, I had to get the tickets and was of urgent nature. Another mistake the agent made that I realized later while rescheduling the same ticket from Qatar was that they had issues adult tickets for my kids which also bumped up the price. The worst part is cancellation. trust me you will never get the money back if a ticket is cancelled. I have been running around for 3 months but they are refusing it even though Qatar has given them the voucher for $1300 for one of the ticket that was cancelled. Qatar even emailed me the copy of the Voucher, but "Shiity"air simply refuses to refund me the money. I booked a ticket long back in earlier October and they did not inform about the Canadian transit visa requirement for transiting through Toronto for temporary USA visa holders and Indian residents. I like to share my personal and very horrible experience. I had booked 3 return tickets to India on 20-April for 15-June travel from Emirates airline. I made a call to airline 13-June (2 days before to fly) to reserve my seats. And, I was shocked when I understood that my departure tickets are cancelled on 22-April itself. I was on call with Airline for whole night to find out the reason of cancellation and as Airline explained, It was clear fault of CITIAIR as required information for booking was not shared with airline by Citiair on time. But the meaning of this is, even if you contact them for any change they will charge you $300 which is your hard earned money they are trying to earn for free. CITIAIR is FRAUD(Beware my friends) and earning money from Penalties(Worst company I have ever seen)- -No (very bad) customer interaction, Dump people hired. Stupid people in dealing - Charge a lot of money from customer in terms of penalties and fare as compared to other Airlines - Customer services argue with customer and say "Do whatever you want to do" (Is it threatening) - They have their own weird terms and policies -Never help you in Booking Meals and Special services - If you call them for any change or if you are stuck somewhere in between the emergency landing, they will never help you. I have never seen travel agent who is really bad in processing refund for my ticket cancellation.I have booked a emirates flight for three passengers via Citiair Travel. Due to urgency, i had to cancel 2 tickets. They have asked me to pay in advance $600 cancellation fees to refund full fare on 2 tickets. They ended up charged me $600 on Citiair name and emirates deducted $400 and refunded rest of the amount, which means i got totally charged $1000 for 2 tickets. I was asking why emites did not refund fully and these guys have no answer. I tried to call them to resolve the issue between us but now they are either blocking my number or putting me on hold and never retured with response. Bought tickets for 10 people to India. Contacted customer service week later to add a wheel chair and it was nightmare. Service sucked just like you would expect from any Indian business. I told service person I want to add wheel chair, she keep asking me what is the new date of travel I want.
