They went above and beyond to make our day special, even throwing in my bow tie and suspenders for free as a wedding gift to me. The tux I really wanted from a catalog they had on hand [';p-/.was not available in the size I was looking for. I really wanted a black and white tux. Milano had a different black and white one ordered from New York and rushed to the store in time for the alterations to be made and in time for my wedding. He even did this at no extra cost to me! What an amazing experience. The staff at Milano made my fiancé and myself feel important and special. They were a key ingredient in making our special day unforgettable. They made lifelong customers of us all, including my brother! I cannot recommend them enough.

A young lady was on her phone the entire time I was there. When I asked a question to enter the fitting room, she acted as if I was bothering her and simply told me, "It's open." When I prepared to check out, three people were behind the registers, and I had to ask which one I should go to. None of them initiated any conversation or offered to help me. While the fashion industry argues over the politics of using certain words to describe "plus size" clothing, I just want to find a place I can go to buy cute clothes and not go broke! I think Ashley Stewart is definitely offering a different type of style and flavor than what most speciality plus stores provide. Although I left without making a purchase, I would encourage all my thick chicks to swing by and check it out. For me, there were designs that were a bit much for me and simply didn't suit my taste. I also found - what's it called when there are pieces of thread not tapered off - well THAT seemed to be a running trend with several pieces that I like and I was puzzled as to how the string was hanging on the outside which makes me think the quality control inspection isn't that strong. The prices were on the lower end, comparatively speaking. The back of the store is dedicated to clearance and it was nice to walk through a store without being conditioned that only a few racks, or one particular side would be devoted to "my size."
