I was with my wife while she placed her lunch order, nachos. My wife, who is soft spoken, was telling the lady what she wanted and did not want on her nachos. The lady serving started say excuse me! My wife said to her I don't want Salsa the lady again said excuse me! I interjected "hold the Salsa" the lady the shouted Excuse me! and went on to explain that she was half deaf and accused me of being rude I then said spare the lecture and serve my wife. The lady accused me again of being rude. I replied no! you started first being rude. It was her tone of voice in the first place. This was not the first instance said my wife. A while ago the same lady serving. My wife had placed her order. The lady placed a tray on top of the counter, which is somewhat high for my wife. On the tray the lady paced my wife's lunch, a mug of tea and a plate of nachos (again), my wife removed the two items from the tray. The lady exclaimed "you can't leave the tray behind!" Well she did leave the tray behind. This person is not suited to this type of work. The food court in the Mall is noisy and if one is half deaf should seek employment in a quieter environment needs lessons in customer service. read more
