Another mediocre eatery in Denver…read more I use to rally like this place. Last time I went it was dirty in the restaurant. Tables were dirty and we had to clean our on table. Dirt on the floor. Bbq sauces were sitting on the counter left unopened. It was very unappetizing. I also don't like the cups they use to drink water out of and then they stack em. And the food was ok. Nothing amazing but the place does business. Denver needs to up its food game.

What an amazing little gem!…read more Katie and I were traveling to Red Rocks for a concert. As we had been on vacation for a few days, every meal was either fast food or quite luxurious eating out. When we found this place to get normal, high-veg, healthy food... I thought it was what we were looking for... but no way it could be good too... I was wrong! Not only was the food amazing. Bowls of all varieties... it was hard to pick just one! But the staff was helpful and kind. They even allowed a few samples to help me pick the right bowl for that day. Unlike most of my reviews... this place had a vibe! It was great to have a light and airy location with lots of plants, windows, and quirky decor. It felt like someone took the time to decorate the place. Even if that decor was for multiple walks of life to come and have a comfortable, quick lunch! I can't think of enough nice things to say about this place. If only it wasn't an 8-hour drive away!

When not done well, it can be like the rocky roads of hell in your mouth. Came to Edgewater Market for lunch last week with family. I really LOVE a good smashburger but over the last several visits to other places, I've been grossly disappointed. Dry, rock hard burgers. My nephew decided to order these (while I stayed away and got something else from another vendor). He offered a bite which turned into a half slider. It was SO GOOD. Felt like having a burger dinner so went here 2 nights ago. Folks, the meat they use seems good quality. The perfect mix of having the crispyish exterior while the interior was juicy (seriously, as I bit into the burger, juices were flowing) hit the spot. So many variations in terms of toppings. I still loved the good ole American burger; tomato, cheese and a bit of their sauce. For my vegetarian other half, there was a surprise. They can replace ANY BURGER with their vegetarian patty. And check this out; the patty is NOT the impossible burger type. It's made of veggies, beans and grain. The crisp on that baby on the exterior too was so good. We also ordered the truffle fries which were EPIC. My only nitpicky complaint on the fries would be (or rather suggestion) is that instead of serving the fries with the topping on the top, maybe if they mixed it while they are mixing the seasonings in the bowl 'might' be better? This would prevent the fries from getting soggy when they get cooler. To top it off, the gentleman and the angel working there were just so nice. We had a few questions and they answered those with a smile; made us really feel welcome. Sadly I leave in 3 days and won't be back till next year but I'm going to try and see if I can get one more fix before I leave.

Ordered the chicken dip; chicken was really dry and the fries came out cooler than if they were fresh made. The bread was delicious though and the flavor of the chicken was very good. My friend ordered the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and it barely had buffalo sauce. She didn't have much else to say good or bad about it. Central Market as a whole: the building is jam-packed, very loud and when they're busy, it is hard to work your way through to get what you need or find a suitable place to wait for your order.

The sausage hot link is actually spicy, which I loved. The pimento mac and cheese was creamy, hot, and perfectly seasoned without being too salty. The fried green tomatoes might be some of the best I've ever had. The biscuit had those flaky layers you want. The pulled pork and baked beans were fantastic too. The room is classic Southern, and the wait for food wasn't long. We didn't order drinks. Colfax construction is annoying, but there's plenty of parking. I'd come off Colorado and go around the Sprouts to skip the Colfax traffic. If you only add one thing to your order, make it the fried chicken.
