    Chicken Alfredo
    River W.

Okay okay, the place looks a little scary in the inside but when I tell you the chicken alfredo hit on another level. It was only one lady working and she was so sweet, now remember it's just her so be patient. The only thing I have to say is the bread and salad wasn't the best but the Alfredo hit.

To say the pizza is New York Style is an insult. The cheese tastes horrible, as if it's not mozzarella cheese. I am from the NorthEast and you couldn't serve this pizza anywhere. The icing on the cake was these pigeons wings they served up. Lemon pepper and Buffalo were the flavors ordered. 3 looked old and overcooked. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Came across this place by accident but was coincidentally hungry for pizza so I decided to stop by. This your average hole in the wall pizza/Italian restaurant. What it makes this place besides its decent pizza are the people who work here. They are super friendly and willing to give you suggestions. Also if you speak Spanish you will have no problems ordering pizza. You get a huge 18" pizza for about $13 with two toppings. I went with half plain and the other half with shrooms and pepperoni. The pizza came out piping hot and really hit the spot. We also ordered a salad with house dressing which was average. The pizza was good, so that is at least 3.5 stars. The service was was nice and we had a good time talking to the people who work there. They were very attentive and helped me out with my order. The service was 4 stars. The cost was cheep for good food so I give that 4 stars. So I'm looking forward to coming back here for slice of pizza ($2.00) and maybe a Stromboli. When I do I'll be sure to update my review.

I really wanted to like this place because of the countless good reviews. We ordered the usual Chicken Alfredo pizza we get at other Italian restaurants, but were not convinced with the overbearing cheese flavor to our pizza. It was very hard to taste the Alfredo sauce with the huge amount of cheese added to it. Finally, the crust was thinner than expected. Regardless, this place had good service with very friendly people. I will come back to try a different flavor for a change.

Pizza was likely reheated multiple times and substandard. Next time - I will keep driving rather than google for a slice.

Great little pizzeria with large portions and huge pizzas at a decent price. Nice owners too. Would definitely recommend.

This…read morearea has become of gem of a location in DFW for dining, and Monaco brings a truly elevated and upscale experience to the area. This is my updated review. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

The vinaigrette leaned very citrusy, which overpowered the dish a bit, but I couldn't help thinking that adding some goat cheese would balance it beautifully and elevate the whole plate. Then came the pasta bolognese... and that's where things went downhill fast. The ricotta was completely flavorless, the meat was tough, and overall the dish lacked seasoning. It was honestly one of the most disappointing bolognese dishes I've had. One more thing that really stood out: the interior has carpet flooring. In a food establishment, that feels deeply unhygienic and off-putting. 1/5 stars -- a strong start with the appetizer, but the main course and overall experience completely missed the mark.

Its grand signage stands prominently right by the roadside an absolute beacon that looked like a true culinary gem. Now, my original agenda for the evening had actually involved a casual Tuesday taco, but my coworker insisted I pivot to fine Italian cuisine instead. What a marvelous recommendation that turned out to be! While the establishment offers lovely outdoor seating, I chose to dine indoors. One might note that the bustling kitchen and host area felt a touch unkempt in the evening rush, but the venue boasts a rather fabulous bar and an undeniably interesting decor that quickly commands your attention. I was escorted to a wonderfully private, intimate table where my waiter greeted me with the utmost warmth and professionalism. To commence the evening, I opted for their signature Italian Martini and it was an absolute triumph. A perfect choice. For my main course, I selected the Spicy Gemelli pasta. The kitchen's timing was impeccable; precisely fifteen minutes later, the dish was presented at my table. It was divine the flavor profile, the immaculate service, and the sophisticated ambiance were all utterly perfect. I am so thoroughly pleased I made the detour tonight. Full marks, without question

I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

Plenty of parking available in the strip mall. The restaurant offers beer, wines and cocktails with a full bar service. Pricing: Not an inexpensive restaurant but it's worth the money you pay.
