Wonderful intimate venue. The show we attended the flying Walendas family! Great experience for the whole family. Very talented professionals under the big top! I strongly recommend this venue to everyone!

Once again, St. Louis is blowing my mind. We were looking for a last minute rainy day activity. Circus Flora has been on my STL bucket list, and it was AMAZING! The show was fantastic and engaging from start to finish. Each act was unique and filled the room with their performance. And The Flying Wallendas OMG. Our son loved the bikers! What a special spot in STL. We can't wait to see another show!

A fantastic two hours. Air conditioned tent kept us cool. The theme for our show was "Marooned", starring two entertaining pirates. The acts by the various artists, including tightrope, acrobatics, trapeze, and horseback feats were all astounding and kept my school aged son and I fascinated. A must see in St. Louis!

This was bananas. We had people juggling with their mouth, people on top of each other's shoulders on a tight rope, three motorcycles in a cage going around in circles. I know you think I sound crazy, but you need to go to this. You gotta see this for yourself.

The Amazing Flying Wallenda's are always great.

ANOTHER great show put on by our very own Circus Flora. Please do yourself a favor and go see this year's show,it's GREAT! 37 years of family fun.

Every year I stalk the Circus Flora site to grab front row tickets right when they go on sale because I love it sooo much! The companion animals, the sassy/sexy/goofy costumes, the personalities and you betcha- the frozies. I can't fail to mention the peanuts my husband guzzles by the handful. Each year has a different theme and slight change in acts. There are staple acts that tweak their show a bit, as well. The pre-show festivities seemed to have died down in recent years where there really isn't much going on before-hand but that doesn't stop my excitement to get there early and look around. Come on over, get a pre-show cocktail in the theater district, a frozie at the show, pet the pig, take some photos and enjoy the greatest show in the Midwest!

    Yea!

I fell in love with the circus after going to Circus Flora this past year. Being terrified of clowns, I never could bring myself to go but this year my friend Lisa was able to get a deal on tickets and invited us. Nervous all week, the Sunday came when we were to attend and I will admit I was sweating a bit. Would clowns be greeting people? Would they come after me? I was thinking the worst things and of course my friends promised to "protect me" if necessary. Lets just say I was blown away by the experience. From the atmosphere inside the tent to the energy outside, everything was a wonderful theatrical experience. The acts were breathtaking and incredibly exciting. I loved the story line and people were riveted. There was one clown who did freak me out but that is due to my own neuroses. This is a wonderful event to bring family and friends to for a unique experience. I would highly recommend Circus Flora to anyone!

Of course the event was on one of the coldest night we experience this past Winter in STL. For fashion, I decided to ditch my bulky coat in the truck and take the lighter instead. Fortunately, I arrived early and was able to find street parking close by and didn't have to endure the bitter cold too long Design: The architectural designs are breathe taken! It's something about "antique designs that I am always fascinated with. Food: My friend & I decided to have dinner at the restaurant next door (don't remember the name). I wanted to grab a drink at the Fox, however didn't want to miss out on any of the play standing in long lines. Service: Everyone hustled to get in after going through the metal detector or being scanned by security. There were staff members present to guide you to your seat. Overall Experience: I truly enjoyed myself. I definitely will be back!

Artwork and decor is stunning! This is where you'll find many of your concessions stands as well as merchandise. If you're on the orchestra level, head straight to the back. Otherwise, take the elevator or stairs to the balcony. The rows are set steep, so watch your footing! The Curtain Call restaurant is a nice place to grab a bite before or after. Concessions inside are a bit expensive, to be expected. Bathrooms are located on most levels.

Parking is a little difficult due to a small lot, but I was able to snag street parking around the corner which worked out just fine. I sat in the front row and had a great view. The seats were pretty comfortable and the patrons were respectful apart for some errant ringtones throughout the show. I treated myself to a signature cocktail during intermission which was a little too sweet (and expensive at $13 + tip) but also flavorful and refreshing as a dessert type drink. For the 2025 season, they are offering a discount on tickets with the code Explore50, making tickets for any of their productions $50 (inclusive of service charges). Unless you're a student or senior, this is the best ticket price you can find. It also allows you to sit anywhere so treat yourself and sit in the front row to admire Mr. Darcy you can!

It was funny, dramatic and had such great music and learned a lot about Carole King. Seats were fantastic and the theater is such a great place. Only complaint is I bought a ticket package that was stated included pre show reception with "drinks". First, the location of this theater is excellent. It's near Webster University in the suburbs, a more convenient area than St. Louis City where other theater venues are located. Second, if patrons go to a matinee, there is plenty of free parking. I went on to the 2 p.m., Sunday afternoon showing of "Emma." There are ways to get discounted tickets at the last minute. I recommend visiting their website for more details on how to do this. I bought a flash sale offering which included three shows, "Emma," being the first one. The show itself was 2 1/2 hours with a 15-minute intermission. I recommend getting everything you need before you go into the theater. 15 minutes doesn't give patrons enough time to get in and out of the restroom or get a drink because of the lines. Speaking of drinks, there were three specialty offerings. Each one had a theme relating to, "Emma." My personal favorite was the Emma Expresso Martini. Almost every seat gives you an excellent view of the stage. If you are not familiar with the layout, show the ushers your ticket and they are happy to direct you to your seat. There were not many open seats. It depends on the production if it's going to be a sellout or not. Evidently, there were a lot of people who are fans of Jane Austen that were in attendance. The costumes and stage sets were top-notch. The scene from the berry-picking party and its aftermath was absolutely hilarious. I loved how the actors interacted directly with the audience as if we were co-conspirators in the events as they were unfolding. There are deviations from Austen's novel; however, I feel this production faithfully follows the spirit of "Emma." In addition to the play itself, the Rep's Christmas decorations were festive and welcoming. If you are in the St. Louis area and love the theater, I highly recommend putting the Repertory Theater of St. Louis on your to-do list.
