Every act was incredible--everyone is so talented. Favorites acts of the night were: the Dogs, the trapeze, the kids who practice and perform at the City Museum, the runners...you'll just have to come and see! Don't miss the human cannonball during intermission. We did eat any of the food, but the prices seemed reasonable, medium for inflation prices.

So, this review is about the venue itself. Free parking across the street is convenient and a plus for me when considering attending future events. Full bar available before show and at intermission. The theatre is rather small holding about 100 people. Seating is U shaped around the stage. So, this is not a bad thing as you are fully emerged in the show. I will consider future shows.

I tried places I had not in the past. Peacemaker lobster. So good. Had the mini roll. The bread was fresh, buttery, crispy. The lobster was tasty with the right amount of mayo. Juan tacos. Birra taco was the best. Came out hot. Was not greasy at all. Very tasty. Wools get again. The chicken taco was good. The steak taco was ok. The taste frozen lemonade was very refreshing and good. The creek bros lemonade was good but the sugar crystals were interesting to chew on. Parking can be challenging in Clayton but meters are free on the weekend. There's definitely a lot of restaurants. Quite a few caterers. Some brought their own chairs, else eat while standing. There was some shade which was a welcome relief to the 98 degree heat index. Always a good time when looking to try many new things.

Bring your own snacks and drinks, enjoy the show. I was super confused on all of these things our first time around, but now I see others bringing small coolers, they know the words to the songs, and they all had their seats because we had to get a little creative with our random chairs that we plucked out of the audience. Fortunately for us, a couple left and we had real seats for the second half of the show. Both weeks were phenomenal musicians that made me feel like STL has some real hidden talent. A fantastic intimate venue that I look forward to visiting in the future.

The Link is a performing arts auditorium that happens to host Fever's candlelight concert series. I…read morehave always thought about going to one of these events but haven't until recently. The concert that my husband and I attended was for the Lord of the Rings performed by the 314 string quartet. They were excellent! We had an amazing time and true to how they have been advertising these events, the stage is set up with numerous LED candles of varying heights and sizes to light the space while natural light are blocked, creating a calm and immersive environment where the main focus is the performance and the music. To be honest, I really loved the idea and they even will not allow people to take out their phones to record or take photos during the performance. They also ask that you not talk during the performance (because people do need a reminder). However, toward the end of it, they will let you have recordings or photos granted that you have your flash off. Of course, this is when some people will start getting rowdy and start to well... people. A prime example were these two individuals in front of our seats loudly "whispering" about not knowing how to zoom their phone camera and how their relative's child is perfect to play the cello while the performance was still in progress. The auditorium itself is an old building but seems to be in good shape with a few spots where I could tell they've been doing some maintenance on. As with any old structures, there will be visible signs of aging such as uneven floors and wall imperfections and this holds true but to me, it added to the general charm of the place. There are no assigned seats. You buy your ticket for a section and if you get there earlier than others you will have more seating options. The acoustic was great! I don't think it would be an issue no matter where you're seated. They do have some staff that will guide you to your general seating location or assist you with your needs. They have restrooms and sell some beverage to enjoy before and during the concert. They also have a small gratuity collection box for the musicians on your way out so don't forget to be geneous!
