The same electrician came back to do the work which was nice. I also changed the plan after the quote and a simple FaceTime with the electrician was all that was needed to get the job updated. I got lucky about the timing to replace the 33 year old panel, as it was on its last legs. I don't know how large this company is, but I have had Blake Dallum, here doing all the work. As you might imagine, cutting through drywall and removing insulation is very messy. All the work has been done with care and respect for my home, and a 77 year old woman, while living in a construction zone in progress. As my very good contractor hired North Ridge, I don't know how they compare with pricing, but the work has been excellent, and I don't hesitate to recommend.

He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful, including mask and social distancing compliant. Vet's has great reviews with lots of positive comments. I really liked all those things and looked forward to receiving an estimate. He noted that Vet's Electric is neither the most costly nor the least, and I confirmed I was looking for quality work rather then cheapest cost. Later during the walk through he said something about "38" for a sub panel, and then before he left he gave me a rough guess of the cost and said "at least 6" and told me he'd follow up with an estimate. At this point I still felt really good about Jesse and his shop but the beginning of doubts were forming. I had done research beforehand which told me the services I was looking for would be on average $1500-$1800. With all the madness going on this year driving cost increases in many industries including construction; I figured his estimate would be from there up to maybe 2x that. And so I start wondering... what did he mean by "38" and what did he mean by "6". Thousands? Hundreds? Neither number is remotely close to what I'd expected. All good and well... I'm a patient person and can wait for an estimate. So I checked in five days after he was here, sent a text asking when I could expect to receive an estimate. No response. So several days later, I called, and spoke with Tiffany. I asked about the status of the estimate. I get that we were in the holiday season. I can wait... but... if they want me, or any customer, to wait a matter of weeks, for an estimate after a visit to the site they need to communicate that clearly. She told me she'd look into it and call me back. We confirmed that she had the correct phone number and my correct email address. It's now been about two weeks since I spoke with Tiffany. No call back. No estimate received. I have no idea what happened. Maybe they didn't want to do the job I had, maybe they forgot, maybe they're too busy? I did seek competitor quotes. Those quotes were provided the same day the site visit was performed. Emailed to me within hours of the visit. I wish I could speak to try actual amount of the quote from Vet's Electric but I have yet to receive it.
