This rv park served more as a living quarter than a vacation stay. Bathrooms, pool and game room were clean and smelled good. Gate was locked and needs a passcode. Front office closes at 5 so no help after that. read more

Internet is $40 a month if you're not using an outside service. The router for the campsite must be in China seriously. I have 4 trailers between me and the office so doesn't get much better than this, wouldn't even wanna imagine being further out. They promise 20mbps for up to 10 devices but you're lucky if you see 13mbps on one device. Seems the reviews of this place all back it having a worsening reputation and a higher demanding price! Ohh and don't forget management is threatening mostly Jim with 7day eviction notices every two weeks stop threatening me with eviction dude or court we go! read more

One of all they're overpriced for a mediocre facility. You're paying that of a price similar (even with discounts) to all amenity included Campland on the Bay which is a giant resort in a spectacular area. It's next to a loud freeway in a not very special part of town. Electricity is not included for long term and don't tell you you will be charged for electricity. They say you MAY and don't tell you upon checkin if you will or not. They also just take it out of your credit card without warning. The dog "park" is an old rv site where dogs can't run more than 10ft without bumping into a recently planted citrus tree which I think is disgusting they are growing in the same area by the way. It also stinks and no one picks up their dogs poo. The sites are cracked and unleveled and the laundry facilities are WAY overcharged. $6 for one load not even including drying is RIDICULOUS. The managers are not even in the office half the time and are condescending when talking about issues. Very money focused without much thought to the consumer. We left as soon as we could. Do not recommend. I've stayed at a few RV parks and this should be one of your last options in San Diego. read more

Sunland RV Park is a nice place to stay. It is right by the freeway which makes getting to the San Diego activites very easy. Staff is very nice and helpful! We've stayed here multiple times and love it. Very family/pet friendly atmosphere!! All amenities are always very clean. I booked a 7 day stay and received a confirmation email with cancellation policy. I cancelled with the time frame stated in letter and they refused to give money back. Said that 7 days was considered an extended stay and there were no refunds. This is NOT what was stated in the attached confirmation letter. I will be contacting my bank and filing a fraud dispute as this is a breach of written contract. They also would not send a confirmation email of my cancellation, which was requested twice verbally and once in email. read more

Do not stay here. I spoke to Jessica and she let me know which options were available. I chose my spot and I also mentioned needed to be away from the freeway. The day I moved in was terrible. She gave me a spot near the freeway. I was furious! I spoke to the Jim(the manager). He mentioned that they do not guarantee spots. I was never made aware of this. Then ended up moving to a spot that was really small and barely can fit 2 cars. By the way they also make you give them a security without a guarantee spot. None of the resorts do that. The manager Jim didn't resolve my problem. One of the new employee Dexter was asked to solve my problem. Dexter was amazing and provided extraordinary customer service. They bait and switched me. I called first. I told them my RV length. They told me the rate that they have available for me was $1000/month or $75/night. When I got there, neither of those rates were available (I got there less than 15 minutes after I called). The rates were $94/night or $1300/month. Dishonest, just like a piece of shit would do. And their WIFI was horrible. Horrible place to stay at. I've never been squeezed this tight for space at an RV park in my life, and $94 was by far the most I've ever paid for one night. And gravel parking is the absolute worst IMO. This place sucks. Everything I said is in my opinion. read more

Our stay started out great ! Management changed many times while we stayed there. The overall standards fell. The place is kept clean enough and relatively safe. No complaints there. The cleaning and repair part of the staff is wonderful. The management is meh. We were charged a premium for the power. Upwards of $300 per month. Charged an extra $40 per car after the first even tho the second car parks in the same space in the " driveway " that is already rented an paid for. Then got double charged for another spot. Cramped in like sardines with the sounds of freeway. The park is infested with roaches. Just shine a light at night and you will see and HEAR then scamper away. Be careful leaving a card on file. They charged the rent at will and also double charged many times. Keep your eyes on the Charges ! read more

This campsite is reallllly underrated. My family and I moved to Circle RV last summer and lived there in a travel trailer for about 6 months. It is affordable, peaceful, quiet and fun! It has a dog run with fencing to let the dogs play, a pool, a jacuzzi, a small gym and even a lounge to play pool. It's easy to communicate with staff upon arrival, and they are flexible about your stay or spot if available. They have mailboxes on site, wifi for a fee (we had our own), trash at the end of each road, and full hookups. They also deliver Amazon packages to your exact site number. I can't say enough good things about this place, with it being a gated community it was like a home away from the city life. All the other campers are respectful and quiet too. Had a few power outages in the summer but that was due to black outs, really the only negative thing I can say. I would definitely recommend and I would live there again!!! read more

So happy with Escondido RV. This was our second stay here/ Staff was so helpful and friendly. The day we checked in our site was a little tight, they had just had a cancellation so moved us into a bigger site the had more room for us to move around. When we checked in they gave us a bag of treats, every day, there were pastries and coffee in the office and 2 of the days we stayed there they also gave out root beer and orange floats and Sangria. The grounds were very well kept, overall a good trip to Escondido RV. read more

What can I say about Sunland Circle Rv Resort? Each time they want to increase the rent, they send a letter that says: "Sunland Rv Resorts provides a level of service and facilities that are unmatched by our competition. It is our goal to not only maintain these standards but to continue to improve our Resorts. " By the way, they increase the rent from $ 50 to $ 100 every seven or nine months. But despite what the letter says, the manager says that the increase in rent has nothing to do with improvements to the place, so if you don't like it you can go. (if you are lucky to speaks with him because he is never there). In fact the women´s restroom is decadent, with broken tiles and rotten walls and both restrooms are not always clean. The employees need a hospitality course because they have forgotten that they work at a resort, starting with the manager and the receptionists who are quite rude. But the worst of all is Mike. Since he came to work in this place, it has been the rotten apple that has infected Jose and Maria. In the first place, he spends his time spinning in the golf cart or talking with the neighbors and "discreetly" looking the girls in the bathing suits at the pool. He is more concerned with the free things that he can get or find at the place than with doing his work. Since he came to work here he does not do his job, he does not like to use the blower and therefore the place is dirty and full of leaves, and when he came to use it he only did it for 15 minutes and then he invented any pretext to leave of the park and stop doing it. Even on weekends he did not clean the bathrooms and the park had to hire someone else to do it. But, why pay someone else if they already had an employee who works on weekends? Because he is lazy. And hired another person was worthless because the cleaning lady from weekends also doesn't like to work, so the restrooms are dirty. Mike also does not like to wear the uniform, and he brings the pants up to the buttocks, which he could do once he leaves his job but not when he is representing the company. That is called RESPECT for your workplace. And now Jose and the cleaning lady from weekends does not wear a uniform either and Jose does not work as hard as he did before, it's understandable because he's not going to do all the work that Mike does not want to do and receive the same salary. This place no longer meets the highest standards that they claim when they want to raise the rent. For about a year, they stopped watering the plants because they do not want to spend money on water, and not only the plants are dying but they give a neglected and dirty look that is not that of a resort. Even the plants that were put in the entrance a few months ago, are drying due to lack of water. What else?, ah, when the administration comes to walk around the park and see something they do not like, they send you a letter giving you seven days to change it and threaten to throw you out of the place if in seven days you don't comply. I'm sorry, but in a real "resort" they treat you with respect and ask nicely. The visitors parking is always occupied by people who have 2 or 3 cars and the visitors can't use it. The tread mills at the gym don't work properly for years. Some boys are always wandering alone over the place. In short, there is nothing good to say about this place because employees are the face of a place and in this case the employees are not the best. They do not work, they do not clean, they put pretexts to do their work and they are rude. Again, starting with Jim, the manager. read more

My first time in an RV has been an experience! I do like the "minimal living". I'm in El Cajon at Circle RV Resort on long term business from another state and I've found the perfect place to set up "home". Being use to a large home with a pool, hot tub and large yard, it's nice to have someone else take care of everything for me! Circle RV is full of wonderful people. Some people here are long term residents and some come for brief stays and it's fun to sit poolside or in the hot tub and hear about their adventures! The facilities are nice and the improvements to the resort and coming along nicely! There is always an update project going on along with the regular maintenance that it takes to keep a place this large going. I feel safe to walk around day or night. The staff could not be friendlier! Often times I check my mail and stop into the office just to say a friendly hello to the office people! Mike, the maintenance man always goes above and beyond to make sure all the guests at the resort are happy! I was only living here for a week and I needed help with an outdoor fixture I purchased and I walked to the office to see who they would recommend for me to hire to help me with my problem. Mike was in the office on his lunch hour and offered to look at my issue. I hopped in the golf cart with him and we went to my RV space and he looked at what I was having an issue with and he fixed it right on the spot! For a year now, Mike is my go to person on the property as he is extremely knowledgeable and makes time to accommodate the guests. I would highly recommend Circle RV for long term or short term! read more

We needed an easy place to stay in El Cajon after purchasing our 1st motorhome nearby. The staff we have met and worked with are really fantastic- starting with Jessica at the desk who got us into an easy site ( we had no reservation) quickly and efficiently while also handling arrivals of folks with reservations. Then we have been helped by Maggie and Enrique at the desk, and Jim the manager. All have been unfailingly helpful and friendly! The sites are well kept, landscaped a bit and larger than at a lot of other parts we have stayed in. The facilities are clean and well kept, pool area is nice, the laundry room is very clean with newer machines. It is a quiet park (residents are quiet, freeway noise is ever present) and has gated security. All said - we have felt very comfortable and safe here. Families with kids and seniors and working folks all seem to be here and enjoying it. Thanks to the staff for making this experience much more pleasant than we expected. We recommend this park if you like a safe, quiet and clean place to stay in the area! read more

This place has been wonderful extended stay with my 15, year old daughter, we stayed 5, months.The staff, Jessica and the Manager Jim have always been attentive and friendly. The grounds and cleaning staff are always around working and friendly. I recommend it with high marks. The only reason for not giving 5,stars is because the mens restroom is a temporary trailer that visitors are themselves dirty in their behavior and leave the showers in terrible condition expecting the cleaning lady to pick up afterwards. read more

Nice clean park. Reservations were easy to make and we even got a discount for staying longer than initially intended. SeaWorld and other major attractions were only about 30 minutes away (with no traffic). Staff was friendly. The biggest downside were the really tight spots with everyone packed together. read more

This place is so-so. Sites are VERY crammed in. Dog run is gross and has oleander growing in it which is toxic to dogs and will kill them if they ingest it. People don't clean up after their dogs even though there are bags and a pooper scooper available in the dog run. Just tonight there were at least 15-20 piles of poop ranging from fresh to dried out. Dog run also needs some lighting as it's too dark at night and people don't clean up after their dogs so you run the risk of stepping in poop. I wouldn't recommend this place for families, there really isn't much for kids to do except swim in the pool. If they ride bikes or play in the street, they are taking their lives in their own hands. Quite a few people drive pretty fast through the park. Also there is no parking for extra vehicles unless you pay the park an extra $100.00 a month for a parking space. People either park on the street or in empty sites which irritates the office. Freeway noise is loud so if you want quiet, this definitely is not the place. Do make sure you are skilled and experienced backing in RV's and Trailers because this place is tight and people cannot fit their vehicles on their sites so they are always obstructing the street one way or another. One last thing, the WiFi is here is laughable. Tengo is bad....most of the time the wifi doesn't work, it fades in and out; but mostly out. I don't think it's possible to stream Netflix and the like. Heck we ran out of data on our phones because the wifi fades out so much. I use a wifi only iPad and notice fading out constantly and there are certain times it doesn't work at all. Last thing, don't count on the cable tv the park provides, it's standard with a terrible picture and very few channels. Pretty much I think this place is good for temporary stays for childless adults. read more

do not stay here, ever. if your trailer is longer than 22ft, do not come here. they have shrunk their spaces to fit in more trailers, cramping in people so that trailers are over hanging into the street, multiple cars park at single sites, bulldogs allowed even though they say they are prohibited, no grass in what has to be the smallest dog park on record, they don't even offer free wi-fi, let alone follow their own rules. do not, i repeat ever stay here, their sites are narrow, we damaged our trailer just trying to get into the spot. horrid little check in girl too. out of the hundreds of rv parks we've seen & stayed at this is the absolute worse & they charged the most...a hundred a night...should've just rented a hotel...bad rv park very very bad read more

As an RV-irgin - a new full time lifestyle of simplification - first stop - Circle RV. Tiffany the manager was able to find us a space last minute as the summer began. We had a pull through spot - very narrow for our 42' RV and 4 slides. The site is rock/gravel and learned it is tough to level on. Lots of lessons learned here! People at this location are very friendly and helpful - an eclectic bunch! Lots of full timers since Circle RV doesn't require you to relocate every few months/ weeks/ days. Some frustrating things - pool didn't seem very clean. I complained but they just said they clean it up to standards and no one else complains... but I did - my kids kept getting sick after using the pool and we would see clumps of hair... gross... but I did notice staff using a net in the pool after I complained so hopefully it helped. Work out room has a great mix of equipment - elipticals, tread mills, free weights, all in one machine and tv! TV at the rv sites are good - lots of channels including digital but getting the mini box at Cox store was super frustrating... Cox fault though not Circle RV. Grounds are well maintained. Nice trees. Too many people park too many cars that hang off in to the already narrow roads and makes maneuvering through the park challenging with a large RV/ Trailer. Take a photo of electric box on check in - and check out. I was charged $99 for 10 days of electricity (more than my SD house was!) ... I wasn't even using ac or anything....I now take photos of electrical at all my sites. Great freeway access - easy to get to lots of places. Located next to a great burrito shop (los Panchos) and Walmart! Cheap gas too - the one across from Chevron. Wifi makes you log in every 3 days... and its not a strong signal. Tifany was super helpful in that I needed help establishing resigency for homeschool and she went out of her way to write us a letter. We made reservations stating we had a 40 ft RV and towed vehicle. We were told this wouldn't be a problem. The pictures advertising the area were not what we saw there. There are numerous rules about not storing things under RV's and keeping sites clean. Not the case either. Several Trailers and RV's appeared to not be capable of leaving the sites they were on. The trash bin was overflowing with trash on the ground. Several units had their own garbage cans out on the roads as well as vehicles making it difficult to get in and out. I had to have my wife drive the TOAD out so I could back up to get out. The rules are if you leave early no refund. I hope they use the money to do some yard work and clean the dump up. If your plan is to stay here and go sightseeing, don't bring anything of value because it will not likely be there when you come back. The neighborhood once out the gate is worse. Do yourself a favor and find a nicer park. This one is overpriced for what you are getting. It more like a transient camp than an RV site. read more

The park was nice and well kept. The problem was, when I got here the power source for my RV didn't work. I was a bit frustrated to say the least because it had been a long day and I was only here because my house was being re-modeled and I had to get out for a few days. I spoke to the lady at the desk and instead of being understanding like she should have, she got VERY short with me and had ZERO customer service skills. I felt like I was putting her out and she asked why I was so upset, instead of letting me vent and be understanding, she decided to take the low road was just just short of being a B$%&#! I was the one that had to say sorry afterwards, when said said NOTHING for what she did and how she handled it. I was NOT impressed with her what so ever! Even the maintenance man had an attitude and had NO clew what he was doing when he checked the power source. Only to find out that they had issues with that same site last week for the same reason. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. After living here for a year on the extended stay I can say there was nothing but issues with this place. The washer and dryers are way over priced and are always broken. The front staff is Incompetent and rude af. We were over charged in more than one occasion and had to fight with them for my refund. The girls in the front office would lose our mail all the time. We finally were able to leave and Desiree in the front office told me she would process our refund for the 250 deposit minus the electricity we used in March (understandable) she told me it would take 4-5 days to process the refund and show up in my account. 2 weeks later I call to find out what's going on with the refund and the new guy said he was going to process it.... what?? It's been 2 weeks and it wasn't processed already. About $200 that should have been in my account and nothing was done. I don't know why I wasn't surprised that staff is so lazy and never do what they say they're going to do. If you ever have issues Jim N. The manager of the place just talks to you like you're stupid. On some occasions he was nice and helpful but I guess you have to catch him on the right day. If I ever have to live at a trailer park in SD again I will not be going back here. I loved how quiet it was (until the last few months when we got new neighbors who were inconsiderate and loud) and that the spot we had was decent. But not feeling taken care of by the staff was a huge is issue. And never rely on the upper managers either. Won't be recommending this place to anyone. When they can re rent your lot for more, you are evicted. plus, some of the Tennant's are influencing office decisions.They don't oversee the safety of the lots they rent. I moved in July '20 and it has only been improving since I got here. The laundry facility as well as the pool and gym are always very clean and maintained in a timely manor. The streets are too narrow to maneuver and the sites are too short and narrow. I didn't have enough room to park my truck each night, so I had to find a empty site to park. Any large 5th wheel or motorhome with slides on each side will have trouble getting in and out of the sites. This park was laid out many years ago when the RV's were much smaller. Having to drive to COX cable business location, several miles) to get a mini box to convert to HD was a pain. The staff was nice and the facility was OK. I have paid about half their rates for much better resorts. i will not be staying here again. read more

Hubby and I live in AZ and we're here temporarily because of his work! We have been here since August 2015! We really like this RV park! We are actually very surprised there are not more five star reviews on Yelp! The staff is very professional and friendly! Tiffany is always very pleasant and helpful! They organize special events on holidays and also Taco Tuesday! The park is very well maintained! Staff are always doing work keeping up the place! We love the pool and exercise room! Our three little Yorkies love the dog run area! There is a huge $.99 store across the street and many good restaurants within walking distance! Super Walmart is only a mile away! read more

We stayed at Circle RV for 1-3 months a year for twenty years, and it was mostly a positive experience. However, the current management is not as responsive as previous managements. In August 2018 we lost power which damaged the transfer switch on our motorhome and forced us to move to a hotel for four nights. Dean of All Seasons Mobile RV Service (who we highly recommend) said the damage was likely caused by low voltage at the power pedestal. Circle RV's maintenance man informed us that he repaired our power pole and replaced the damaged meter at our site and at another site near us. He suggested that we tell park manager Jim about the damage. We emailed Jim twice and left a message at the office asking what the policy was for damage reimbursement, but never received a response in the remaining five weeks we were there. We decided to check out a few days early when the park notified residents that power would be shut off for two days for "preventative maintenance" of their electrical system. When we checked out, we told another employee, Shannon, that Jim had never responded to our messages, and she promised to investigate. About a week later, she replied that it was not their policy to reimburse for damages. Considering that we had spent about $50,000 at Circle RV over two decades, we were disappointed that they would not make an exception to reimburse our $521 repair bill, but were most disappointed that Jim had not even bothered to respond. As a consequence, we will not be returning to Circle RV or other Sunland parks again. If you elect to stay there, you might consider purchasing a low/high voltage regulator for the power pole, but they are expensive and easily stolen. read more

This is the worst managed RV park that I have EVER stayed at. I seriously hope the owner, Sunland RV, does a thorough reflection of this property. We stayed here for 1 month this summer. The rate was $1000/month plus electric and a $250 security deposit. The first week we stayed here my credit card was charged $3000. We had to call and go in to the office repeatedly to ask for a refund. After another week of complaining, we were refunded $1000 of the $2000 we were owed, and told that the remaining $1000 would be held on to and refunded after we departed at the end of the month. This was completely unacceptable because we had already paid a security deposit! After another week of trying to get that remaining money back, we were refunded most of it back, minus $60 for a week of electric. Keep in mind, we were out of town that first week and not using A/C or water heater, and our electric is usually around $100/month. The final 3 weeks we stayed here, running A/C and water heater the entire time our electric was $113. Unfortunately we were never allowed to see the meter readings, so we cannot be sure who's electric bill we were paying that first week but it is extremely suspect. They day we left, we were told the $250 security deposit would be refunded in a couple days, minus the $113 for electric. After 5 days we called again. Then again after a week, 10 days, etc. At the two week mark were pretty upset. The ladies that work the front desk apparently don't have the ability to give refunds, only the manager Jim. We were never able to talk to Jim the manager over that month of being overcharged and being refused refunds, until the very end when we lost our temper. He did finally call us to refund the security deposit, but was pretty sarcastic about the whole situation. Needless to say, we will never stay at a Sunland RV property again, and wouldn't recommend Circle RV even if it were free. read more
