I've had multiple issues with pickup orders, including orders being incorrect and delays when trying to collect items that were already paid for. On one occasion, I found something in my drink that appeared unsanitary, which made me uncomfortable about purchasing drinks from this location again. The biggest issue has been customer service. There is one older employee I frequently deal with, and nearly every interaction becomes an argument. I used to pay for the 7-Eleven app subscription and regularly redeemed my drink benefits without any issues. Then I was suddenly told different rules applied and was denied benefits I had previously used. Even when I tried to follow the employee's instructions, I was still told I had to pay full price. More recently, when my boyfriend picks up orders for me, he often has to spend several minutes convincing staff that he is there for a legitimate order despite having the order information, name, and confirmation available. He has also been asked for codes that were never provided with the order. Everyone makes mistakes, but after experiencing the same issues repeatedly, I no longer feel welcome as a customer. The constant confusion, delays, and poor attitude have made me stop shopping at this location whenever possible.

The Stores are clean and well stocked with quality brand name products. Staff is exceptionally attentive. The Pharmacy is the best of all retail chains, which might not be saying much these days because all retail chains over-work and under-staff their pharmacies. Rite Aid here in 29 Palms is one of the best Rite Aid Stores I have ever shopped in. I shop there often, although their prices are not as low as Walmart, but they are close and I get all my prescriptions filled there. Rite Aid Pharmacies use good quality generic brands of prescription drugs. somewhat better than Walgreens and much better than CVS (friends don't let friends shop at CVS). If the Pharmacy appears busy, keep in mind they fill about 1,000 prescriptions, each and every day using 1.5 Pharmacists and 4-5 Pharmacy Technicians and clerical persons during a 12 hr shift. They are often out of ice for the drinks for a long period of time (recently for about 4-5 days), many of the drink selections are empty or broken, when they have ice. My suggestion is save your styrofoam cup from Circle K and buy your drink 1 block south at the gas station/Subway shop. Reusing your Circle K cup is good for the environment and you get the drink you want. The Yucca Valley and Morongo Valley Circle K's are amazing each time.
