I've been a customer here for a while, and unfortunately my experiences have become increasingly frustrating. I've had multiple issues with pickup orders, including orders being incorrect and delays when trying to collect items that were already paid for. On one occasion, I found something in my drink that appeared unsanitary, which made me uncomfortable about purchasing drinks from this location again. The biggest issue has been customer service. There is one older employee I frequently deal with, and nearly every interaction becomes an argument. I used to pay for the 7-Eleven app subscription and regularly redeemed my drink benefits without any issues. Then I was suddenly told different rules applied and was denied benefits I had previously used. Even when I tried to follow the employee's instructions, I was still told I had to pay full price. More recently, when my boyfriend picks up orders for me, he often has to spend several minutes convincing staff that he is there for a legitimate order despite having the order information, name, and confirmation available. He has also been asked for codes that were never provided with the order. Everyone makes mistakes, but after experiencing the same issues repeatedly, I no longer feel welcome as a customer. The constant confusion, delays, and poor attitude have made me stop shopping at this location whenever possible. read more

Whoever MJ, MG, or whatever is on their name tag, I don't know how she is even allowed to work there , let alone represent your company. Not only was my husband discriminated against due to his disability and his hearing aid wasn't turned all the way up, but this cashier mocked, made fun of, and rudely yelled at him all snappy, when he asked about the hot dogs and she said, " I told you twice... f*** man". He then stated you didn't have to be rude about it I asked politely, she then went on about how he would know if she gave him attitude and loathed about how she was a hard working American and so forth. Well sorry to one up you Ms. Thang, I'm a proud Native American, he's indigenous as well, we're all hard workers, and nobody asked you what you were. That sounded like she was already discriminating him as soon as he walked in, and that she hated her job. There are plenty of people out there that are in need of a job that would gladly take her position and give outstanding customer service etiquette. Please remedy this issue asap. Walked in like I always do for 4yrs. New cashier very rude and flustered because he didn't know how to run the cash register and ends up charging me on 2 cards 3x. I go back to store feeling upset because he was so rude and short with me and felt he stole my money on purpose. I get called a bitch and dirty bitch and the female stand there and does nothing. I say ok I will call the cops. Female says I'm calling the manager, manager issues refund via the phone all while the male cashier is still calling me names. This store has gone down the drain with the new owner. I've only lived here for 4yrs and now I'm banned for asking for my money back and not putting up with someone calling me a bitch, completely violent and vulgar behavior. They both lunged at me as well. If I could give zero stars I would. Charlie is not a good manager to allow his cashier to call me out my name when the cashier literally admitted to taking the money from the card. You're not going to get a high five when you mess with peoples money. This store is beneath any decent person in this town. read more

Thankful for such a convenient location in town to grab a quick drink and use the ATM machine! We have noticed there appears to be new management and are extremely impressed. The store is well organized and very clean. I love that the food area is always neat and clean! Slurpees are a family favorite! Thank you to those responsible for the latest changes! Chains are consistent everywhere, which is a comforting fact. Gas, basic necessities, that's 7-11. Good for grabbing snacks en route to Joshua Tree. However you feel about 7-11 will be how you feel about this establishment. read more

Black guy wearing a cookies vape hoodie was rude and highly unprofessional. Takes my money then rushes me off to talk to the next customer even though I wanted to ask about using my 7Rewards because I never paid for gas with cash before. Come back in to get money from the pump and right when I'm about to put in my 7Rewards phone number he immediately goes through it then when I ask him about it he gets mad saying he already finished the transaction and that it probably wouldn't have taken off much when I already know it takes .11 off each gallon, then he pulls out an extra dollar and asks if I really want it then take it in a up his own ass kind of tone. It saves only a dollar, but I try saving as much as I can but I guess for this 7-11 billionaire he's going to get mad about savings then say to himself "Jesus fucking christ" as I'm walking off. Not to mention slowing the line down by being unprofessional and blurting out "What's up my nigga" to his friends and having conversation when people are trying to check out. read more

Tonight I went into 7-Eleven to buy some Swisher's I went to the ATM and pulled my own money out of the ATM. The lady Olivia behind the counter asked me for my id i gave it to her. Then she asked my girlfriend for her ID. What the hell she disnt give me money or anything. The manager should review the tapes because I left without a purchas and wont be back because of her. By the way my girlfriend had a id and is of age. The other thing is she had a small child running around behind the counter. Very unprofessional and if this is the type of employee the manager hires maybe he needs to be replaced as well. read more

The staff at this 7-11 can be rude at times. I love their coffee though so I keep coming. It's hit or miss on the temperature of the coffee and it's consistency lately. I may just settle for Circle K their customer service & quality of coffee is much better. read more

I have come here often to get gas and slurpees. Unfortunately, I bought a couple cell phone head sets that did not fit my phone. When I attempted to return them (one was opened), the 'manager' James began beratting me for trying to return an opened package: "What can I do with this, huh?" He demanded, waving it in my face. Rest assured, I let him know this is not acceptable behavior. Anyway, I can promise you I won't be spending ~$100 every week on gas here anymore. I get gas here all the time. I've never had a problem because I've never gone inside before. Well, I went inside for the first time today. My husband and I were out of milk and wanted to very quickly grab some before driving next door to Andrea's to pick up our food order. My husband pulls in and idles crooked in the empty parking lot in front of the door. I walk in the door and immediately hear the most obnoxious shouting, and I do mean shouting. Not "Excuse me, could you please straighten your truck", but "YOU CAN'T PARK LIKE THAT. YOU CAN'T PARK LIKE THAT." Over and over. I calmly explained that I wasn't parked. My husband is in the truck and it's idling. Obviously if it became even a slight issue he would have moved. Not good enough for her. She continues screaming at me until she literally ran me out of the store without buying anything. This place tends to have the cheapest gas in town, but I won't be back. To management, I didn't get the name of the psycho who was screaming at me, but this was at noon October 7th. read more

they usually have decent priced 30packs of beer and 20 count packs of dixie cups. they also slang ping pong balls as singles. often times theres people standing around the entrance and phonebooths. in other cities theyd normally hound you for spare change but these ones are different, they dont ask for crap. they sell petro also. read more

I usually hit this location to cash in and purchase my lotto tickets, pick up a beer and a bag of chips. High class I know! But hey I'm in 29 Palms, it's all good! Occasionally I will punish myself with a good ole fashion gas station chili cheese dog. 7-11 does not fail me here! The food and drink area is always clean, the condiments are always stocked (I've yet to have to ask employee's to refill cheese or chili as I've had to at other gas stations). My kids love the heck out of those slurpees, and maybe we are just lucky and have great timing, but the flavors are always up and running when we are there, and all lid and cup sizes are stocked and plentiful. Really can't ask for more when it comes to a gas station food and drink area right? The employee's are for the most part great. Sometimes the older gentleman seems to be in a bad mood, but that may very well be just the way it appears, I don't make an effort to make conversation because it seems like he has a lot on his mind, or is mad or something. All the women employees are always friendly and happy when they greet you. The heavier set guy, maybe in his mid 30's could use some brushing up on his employee and customer service skills. Sometimes I feel like I'm interrupting his leaning time when I come in. Like literally, he had planned to spend the next 5 minutes leaning on the counter, and gosh darn it if some customer didn't come in to get her 2 for $5 Red Bulls and ruin his plans. On two occasions, I have left before even making my way to the register after overhearing the way he was speaking to his co-workers because sometimes I tend to have a big mouth and I didn't want to end up starting some kind of crazy drama up in the 7-11 over some crap that had nothing to do with me in the first place... Sometimes they have great specials on my brand of smokes, sometimes my brand of smokes are cheaper up the road. The employees are very good about informing me when they are on sale, because I am your typical American and I will not notice any signs that haven't been pointed out to me, or aren't blinking! Currently they have the cheapest 3 pack of Budlite 24 oz cans for sale in town. They also always seem to have candy that takes me back to my childhood days. Today I found quarter size smarties! Awesome! The only thing that would make this location better would be accepting cash at the gas pumps, but the same could be said for the rest of the gas stations except for the one a few blocks away that does have cash pay booths! To those just passing through, this is down town 29 Palms, this is our "rough side of town" You may be asked for change, you may hear sirens ( there is a fire station 2 blocks away) but as long as you use common sense and pay attention to your surroundings, you'll be fine... Not open 24 hours a day....my throat is swollen and I came to get some stuff and it's closed till 5am???

This review concerns the customer service that I have received at 7-Eleven. The other day I came across a situation where I needed to break a twenty. 7-Eleven is near the B of A ATM, so I thought I could break it there- it didn't matter what change I got back whether it be ones, fives, tens whatever. I wait patiently in line and ask politely if I could break a twenty. The man at the till didn't even give me the time of day, didn't even make eye contact with me and didn't even let me finish my sentence, before he told me he didn't have enough cash in his till. Its not the fact that he couldn't give me change, it was the fact that he was very rude and very pompous. I know I shouldn't expect too much out of a gas station but at least have the common courtesy to be POLITE because after all, that is a requirement of customer service. read more

I was just in the store and a customer was getting a slushee and an employee named Inez started yelling at him. Yelling at the top of her lungs that he could not be back there that the section was closed. There were wet floor sign and a mop bucket on the floor but nothing stating that section of the store was blocked off. So he kindly and calmly stated that she should post a sign so customers know that it is closed off. She the. Continues to yell at him that that's is hat the wet floor signs are for and that no one else has gone past them. So I chimed in that I agreed with him that she sould put a sign saying it's closed off and that she shouldn't yell at customers for no reason. She then turns and yells at me that I can agree all I want but that the section is closed, that is why she is yelling at him and that her boss told her to do that. So I leave the store and call asking to speak with her manager and I'm told there is no one I can speak with and the phone is hung up on me. What a rude employee. 711 you need to do better at who you hire or at a minimum train your employees what customer service is. I will no longer shop there. read more
