Extremely dirty and staff is very rude. Plenty of gas stations in the area so recommend avoiding this one if you need to get food. I wouldn't even trust the packaged goods in here. 7-11 is down the road and looks sketchy on outside but cleaner on inside and nicer people. read more

Careful when you go in the store ( circle k ) don't expect deals on rockstar energy drink. Rock star runs a program buy 2 get 2 free. If you don't tell them about the deal every time you go in you won't get the deal. ( now the stock says 2 extra rock stars in cooler ) could he do that to 5 ppl all day and get 10 free drinks at his shift ends I bet he can. New employees the rudest people you will ever meet. Must be a requirement for employees. 2 days ago I bought 2 packs of cigarettes and it should be 1.00 off per pack. He never gave me the deal , he told me the price for two packs I ask him about the 2.00 off deal he said you never gave me a chance to tell you. Wow. I had a pretty eventful visit here, while getting gas and later using the bathroom. But first, the gas: I found it to be an ideal location, since the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park wasn't so far away. The prices seemed to be so-so, not too high, but then again Twentynine Palms isn't the biggest town so prices are going to reflect that. Here's where things got interesting: While standing in line for the restroom, this old man proceeds to tell me he's going in front of me *not politely asking me, or even just asking me - he attempts to tell me "I go in front of you, you must wait."I, then tell him that's not happening. I can tell he doesn't like this, because he makes some grunting noises, then proceeds to get restless, and tries to scoot in front of me. I notice this, and react by standing directly in the doorway. It was quite obvious, IT WAS ON. I knew this, he knew this, and probably anyone else who had the privilege to witness this magnificent moment. As the bathroom door swings open, the somehow spry old man attempts to tug at my arm to pull me back. I resist, and make a dash to the bathroom. I immediately close the door and lock it in one swift motion. I won. And it felt good. In conclusion, I would definitely get gas here again, if I ever happen to be in the area. read more

Located right at the end of 29 Palms right before you take the Essex Highway up to Needles/Laughlin/Bullhead City. Its quite a long, lonely drive you're in for so I suggest grabbing some snacks. Actually, they even got tables for outdoor dining, too...if you can bear the heat. read more

I went into this in particular Circle K in 29 Palms around 2 am to get a soda. Where I was rudely talked down to by a member working in their name Jacob, who gave me poor service and took forever to ring up one bottle of Coke. I mean it is just a simple thing to do. All he had to do is uses the scanner thats right by the registering. If he would have been done this, I would have been out in 2 minutes instead, he took the 15 minutes and to ring up 1 bottle of Coke. Talk about your incompetence there. Called in this evening, 8/3/2016 to fill both cars with gas and get one of Circle K's great coffees. Getting the gas was no problem, but upon parking outside the front of the store we were told that we couldn't go in by the staff member who said it was closed until she finished her break! I asked her again and she repeated in no uncertain terms and in a very unfriendly manner that the store was closed until she completed her break! Suffice to say, we went elsewhere for coffee and will probably not be visiting this store again! read more

I really loved this gas station. Some employee opened the door for us and told us about a really nice place to eat. I couldn't see her full name and all I saw was "Mu" and maybe an R so I think her name was Muriel? Anyways I loved it. The bathroom was a bit crowded but considering that it was just one for all gender I would say that it was pretty good! Although I'm probably not coming back considering I don't live in Arizona but if I did come back I would definitely visit again. read more

There is a young samoan girl with black hair that is RUDe, and seems unhappy to be at work. I had two encounters with her.1 st time I tried to pay my $8 total with quarters(last year), she refused to take the change. Even though I counted out infront of her. I was shocked. I mostly avoid this circle k on hey 62 every since my encounter with her.But the circle k on adobe road was packed today,so I tried this circle k (on hwy 62)and yes the Somoan black haired girl still works there. I was praying not to get her!!!! Instead I got a older white female with a blood shot left eye , who wasn't any more pleasant than the younger female. THEY BOTH SEEM SO UNHAPPY TO BE AT WORK. They scared me off. I took my money and got my gas at the adobe road circle k later that day. They are pleasant and don't treat u like garbage. read more

This is the best quick stop in the area. Staff is friendly and they have a big selection with incredible prices. It's conveniently located right off of the highway and open 24/7 unlike much else in this town. As to the other guy whining about the employee being on break.. I'm sure you expect to get a break where you work, right? Well guess what, these people deserve a break too, sorry you're so impatient. (Break is 10 mins in CA). I highly recommend stopping here if you're hungry/thirsty/in need of gas and in a hurry. But just a heads up, being so great they can get busy! read more
