I was impressed with the variety of the fresh looking foods but I was not pleased that when the signs listed a discounted price for 2 of something and there was only one left (pretzels in this instance) they would not honor the lower price. Heck, it's not my fault they didn't have two of them and I was disappointed that there was only one, so why not give me a break? Why not allay my disappointment by letting me get another item close enough in price, or suggest some way to make things right? Plus, the same associate said they stop putting out new pretzels after 2:00. That didn't make any sense to me at all, but I didn't have time to question it further or ask another associate since I was due back at the nearby hospital, without a snack that would've made it more pleasant. read more

Came here on a Friday around 1pm just to get a quick bite to eat and a drink. The first thing I noticed is the pump area itself is very big and not tightly packed, which is great if you're towing a trailer or have a small to medium sized RV. The roof is tall enough for even the tallest travel trailers. The surrounding parking lot and entrance would be the most limiting factor. As far as the inside, it was fairly clean but not perfect. There's definitely been better Circle K's but there's also been a lot worse. There was a line but it was also fairly busy at this time, but with two self checkouts it went by fairly quick (as long as the customer was familiar with them. There's about 12 pumps here and at this time 4 of them looked to be out of order. This Circle K has public bathrooms, and they're a one person only unit. They were dirty, but not a "hasn't been cleaned in weeks" dirty. Overall, it's a gas station that had what I needed and wasn't a bad experience. Would return with no second thoughts. read more

Not a huge Circle K fan in general but I like this one. It's not your typical "circle k" with the stereotypical vibes that come to mind. This location is clean and well maintained. It's managed well and the owner does a good job. The employees are IT here I go back. Everyone is kind and personable and its always a positive experience. The owner is there often and works the register along with the team. Very cool. I don't eat junk food much but I do eat protein bars daily and I buy them here because they are surprisingly cheaper with the ongoing deals. One thing to note- they do close at like 10/11pm. I know right?! Circle K is known for 24/7- it's like all that's open for an emergency. BUT- I think it's good because it does seem to keep this spot less circle k cliche and those cracky weirdos at bay. So. No need to bring your vigilance or your protection- just google their hours since they have varied and run on by for that fave sweet treat! read more

Let's be honest while out today I was about to run out of gas and on the hunt for my favorite Dutch Bros so I stopped here lol I was instantly annoyed at its location and trying to get into the parking lot. This is a decent location located in Grayhawk in North Scottsdale. All the employees are pretty cool here as I frequent this place often and they get to know you. Gas is priced better here than other places located nearby. Pro Tip- make sure you use your frys card to get you gas discount! read more

On the drive back to Vegas from Scottsdale, this is the gas station where I fill up the car. It's on the way to Carefree Highway and has nice wide lanes and an easy in/out to Scottsdale Rd. The only reason why I go to Circle K's is for the Soda Fountain (Polar Pop) station, so that is the focus of my review. This Circle K is the gold standard for it's Polar Pop station. There are lots of options to suite even the pickiest person (me). I made me happy to see they had several caffeine free choices, two kinds of ice, I think there were over 6 different ICEE choices, and 6 different flavor additions. Everything was full and in working order and clean. My selection of the day was crushed ice, Caffeine-free Cola, lemonade, a bit of raspberry ice-tea, with lime and vanilla syrup, and a B-12 boost. It was pretty good, but a little on the sweet side. I feel like a made soda scientist. Can't wait to go back to see what concoction I can come of with next. read more

Perhaps the cleanest circle-K. However, while pumping gas the lights had gone out and my pump stopped working. I was wondering if a breaker had blown. That was not they case. As a female came out and said lights out, store closed and pumps are off. You need to find another store to get gas station. I was dumbfounded. I was the only person there so they could have waited a few seconds for me to finish, but did not. I rarely use this Circle K for getting gas (I use the Safeway station up at Ashler Hills & Scottsdale Rd - cheapppp!) However, I always am greeted by a friendly smile and great service whenever I stop in to grab a Red Bull or a pack of a cigarettes. If I could give no stars it still wouldn't be low enough. Today my daughters and I stopped in after a long day if shopping to get a fountain drink. When my daughter brought it out to my mother in law and me they tasted HORRIBLE! I sent her back in to get a refund and buy me a bottle soda. The employee REFUSED to give her a refund! ! I was totally floored over how the customer service was. If my daughter had not been so frustrated over brides maid dress shopping I would have gone back in and given the employee a piece of my mind. This circle is pretty nice. They have quite a few pumps so you really never have to wait too long, the bathrooms are usually pretty clean as well. Everything is brand-new and updated. Lots of options as well inside the store and right next to Scottsdale Road in a nice shopping center with lots of restaurants and businesses. read more

What do they fill the windshield washer bucket with? Swamp water? Port-a-potty "juice"? I'm all for recycling but this was so disgusting. My husband spilled one drop on his shoe, and even though he wiped it immediately with some baby wipes we had in the car, it didn't matter. As we drove away from the gas station I was noticing the skunk scent, I couldn't stand the smell. I made him turn around and go to the grocery store bathroom to wash his shoe. YUK! 9:00 at night, completely packed gas station and they are power washing it. Even standing back behind my car, I'm getting a shower of sludge from the ground and so are my glasses and windshield. I don't fault the power washing company, but whoever thought that would be a good time to schedule that is crazy. Will rethink coming here when I need gas before work in the morning. So I'm a delivery driver and it was around 10 at night and the man working there was cleaning the windows and opened the door for me. Thought that was very sweet. Then, I had to get two cases of water for client I was delivering it too. The guy who was working stopped what he was doing and carried the two cases of water to my car and was just so helpful. I was having a really rough night and my back was killing me, so he really just went above and beyond to help me out. And the lady ( I think her name was Sharon but I'm totally spacing) was very sweet as well. I regret not getting the other man's name and he probably doesn't remember since people come in and out all the time but something needed to be said about the amazing customer service here. read more

This is an excellent Circle K. Alan has managed it for years. Jenny and Autumn are the best! Yes, on occasion, they hire someone with little customer service, however, what is to be expected when they only pay $8-9/hour? This is a corporate issue. Pay more and you can have higher expectations. This Circle K is always immaculate, well maintained and up to date. And for the those that gave a poor review because they weren't smart enough to look at the sign that said that they actually close at night....you assumed that all Circle K stores are 24 hours...now you know they are not. Don't blame the store for your ignorance. Everyone that lives in the area knows full well that it closes at 11pm. And why should the underpaid staff wait to go home to their families because you expect to be treated as if you are special? If you are going to offer windshield cleaning materials, than maintain it. It smelt like a damn sewage plant. This place has over priced gas, which makes you think they might take care of things.
