Good place, nice people. If you don't have their app on your phone get it. Currently the app is giving 30 cents off per gallon of gas.

This gas station is a decent gas station and the people working there are very friendly but they do not give cash back

A Teachable Moment at Burger King - Punta Gorda Location…read more I visited this Burger King with my 10-year-old son, Albert, who clearly requested a Whopper with no lettuce and no tomato--repeating it several times. When the order came out wrong, he politely returned to the counter to ask for the correct version. What followed was an uncomfortable exchange with the manager, Alley, who questioned him in a way that felt more like an interrogation than a correction. After we retrieved the receipt (which didn't reflect the custom request), Alley asked again if he had ordered it that way. He repeated--again--that he had asked for no lettuce and no tomato. Instead of calmly resolving the issue, she responded with visible frustration, loudly instructing staff to "get the other burger off the counter." It was unprofessional and unsettling, especially with a child present. Later, it seemed they overheard our conversation and came over to apologize, blaming the mistake on the crew member. I clarified that the young man was clearly new, and the responsibility falls on the manager to lead with composure and professionalism. If there's frustration, it should be addressed privately--not in front of customers. I spoke directly to the young crew member and told him, "One day, when you're managing this place, it'll be your job to handle situations like this with respect." He lit up--like he knew he had it in him. He understood. That kid has potential. But I also told him, "If you're working under the morale of this manager, it's not going to be good for your team." He nodded in agreement. I had just come from Culver's next door, where a group of young employees were working with great energy and morale. When I mentioned this, the young man said his friend is the manager at Culver's--and you could see the disappointment in his face as he compared the atmosphere there to what he's experiencing here. That contrast was telling. To make matters worse, when Alley went to the back to remake the burger, her frustration didn't stay behind the scenes. We could hear her venting loudly on the line, and the energy shifted. We started getting negative looks from staff, and Albert--who had simply wanted a Whopper made right--was left feeling uncomfortable and singled out. He didn't deserve that, especially since it was his idea to come here. We haven't been to a Burger King in over a year, and this experience reminded us why. Also worth noting: the roof of this location has visible mold buildup--more than I've seen at any fast food spot. It raises concerns about the environment and how it might be affecting staff morale and customer experience. We came in for a simple meal and left with a lesson in leadership. When you're in the presence of the King, dignity should be part of the crown.
