I just called tonight the store to ask the name of the day manager and when would they be in. Barely finished my sentence and was hung up on was pleasant so there was no reason for this. Tried calling back several times and NO ONE answers the phone! Will have to go in person tomorrow as the clerk earlier screwed up my lottery tickets earlier today. This was also done last week. Terrible gas station, barely any pumps. Limited parking, and the gas pumps are insanely slow.

I arrived at the circle k at 7th avenue and Roosevelt tonight around 1:40 am. and there were about 8 bums crowding around the front doors .I ride my bicycle and I couldn't stop to buy because of the bum crowd.the worst part is that the African American female store clerk is right out there with them.this seems to be a regular occurrence there so I bike north to another store.this is terrible and should not be happening. read more

I live in the neighborhood of 5th Avenue and Roosevelt in Phoenix in the Roosevelt Arts District. I am 60 years old, have Parkinsons, and a service dog named Scottie. Scottie is a miniature schnauzer that is 5 years old and a lover. He has come to this particular Circle K for months with no problems. As you may know, this is not the safest of neighborhoods. As a matter of fact one of your security guards is female and was hit in the back of her head head by a homeless drug addict a few weeks ago. I have not seen her since. I only say all of this because the customers at night are a little seedy. My service dog stands up on two legs for one of your other cashiers. She loves him. The security guard loves him. Scottie does have a tendency to bark occasionally when someone he deems as threatening is near me. That's one of his jobs. The cashier by the name of Alissa, if memory serves me right, yelled from the register that if my dog were to continue barking I had to leave the store. I tried to explain that Scottie was a service animal and protecting me. Mind you I was fourth or fifth in line and she's yelling this over other customers. She accused me of having a phony service animal. She told me that service animals don't bark. She is clearly wrong. They bark when they feel the person they're watching over is threatened in anyway. I might add that he has not barked in that store for months. The manager of that store convinced me to join the $5.99 a month drink club. I did so and have been doing so for some time. We are there almost daily getting our drink. I have to tell you to berate a 60 year old man when there are questionable people in the store doesn't make sense. Why did she single me out? She is the slowest cashier as well and doesn't give a darn about her job. That is blatantly obvious. I am a good paying customer and I live in the area where million dollar homes are located. The store's floor was so filthy and the drink counter was saturated with sticky coke and trash. I used to be a litigation examiner for Nationwide Insurance Company before I retired. I'm not used to being treated the way this youngster treated me. It isn't conducive to good business practice. I may never go into that store again. I ended up walking home after the incident and got my service animal's paperwork in order and copied it on my copier and walked back to Circle K and handed the information to the clerk to prove to her that Scottie was indeed a service animal. I did not like being accused of being a fraud. In all honesty, I was calm for the most part when I was in the store. However, like any other human I have feelings and get angry. As I left the store, I only said one word. Bitch. I was angry at myself for lowering myself to that level. When I returned with the paperwork I talked to the security guard and apologized saying I shouldn't have called her a b**** and I was sorry. I told the clerk the same thing. She, at this time, didn't care and was on her cell phone like I didn't even exist. I asked her to keep the paperwork in that store in case there's future problems. It looked to me as though she was going to throw it into the trash. What has happened to our society? I pray for this woman. She needs to get the anger out of her system. If she were my employee, she wouldn't have a job anymore. But, in these times, with people quitting their jobs right and left, I know it's hard to keep staff. Perhaps that's why she's still there. Someone needs to take a seriously close look at this store. read more

The gas prices at this Circle K are always on the cheaper side (at least as far as gas is concerned). It's also conveniently located on the way to downtown Phoenix, just south of the I-10, to and from my way to work. But, the layout of the parking lot makes this one of the most inconvenient gas stations to fill up at. First problem; There's only four pumps, all of which are located in the corner of the lot. If there's one car using the pumps on either side, it's a major challenge to drive around them. If the only free pump is facing the wrong way for your gas tank, maneuvering around the parking lot to face the right way is also a tough challenge. Plus, on at least one occasion, another driver swooped in and stole my pump while I was trying to do this. You really have to get lucky, or make some very quick decisions about how to enter the gas station while you're driving towards it. Second problem; The tiny parking lot. I understand that space is limited, but between the gas situation, and people trying to pick up a drink or a snack from the shop, just driving to a parking space can be a headache. Third problem; Ghetto. I'm a 32 year old man and I am uncomfortable stopping by this Circle K when the sun is not out. The location is being renovated, but that doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of seedy people hanging around this part of town. read more

I hate that this Circle K is so conveniently located to my house and so close to the freeway, but it is quite possibly the most inconvenient store to visit. The gas is well priced, but it's always a cluster trying to get gas here. The layout sucks and it's always crowded. Also this gas station is filthy. And the trash cans are often over flowing. The window cleaning station ALWAYS smells like vomit. I've been fueling here for years and thinking about writing this review. The tipping point was the horrible smell around the pumps tonight while I fueled up. A delicious mixture of vomit and feces was present in the air. Drive to McDowell and 7th avenue. Despite my relatively close proximity to this Circle K, I rarely use it. This location is always busy due to its proximity to the I-10 freeway, but is far too small to deal with the swarms of traffic that come through here (particularly on work days). In addition to four awkwardly placed gas pumps, there's only a small handful of customer parking spaces. Often there's a line of cars on Roosevelt and on 7th Avenue trying to squeeze into a gas pump at this station. The convenience store itself is a pretty standard but smaller Circle K and as a result doesn't offer as wide a variety of products to choose from. The structure next door to the convenience store appears unused, which is weird because Circle K could certainly use the extra space (either to expand the store or create more parking spaces). Unless you're coming here super late at night or super early in the morning I'd recommend going elsewhere. Otherwise you're going to run into a big crowd of cars jostling for position in a space far too small to work efficiently for a convenience store and a gas station. Might work for one or the other, but not both. A couple of nearby alternatives I'd recommend: The newer (and much larger) Circle K gas station on the southeast corner of 7th Street and Roosevelt, or the Circle K station on the northwest corner of 7th Ave and McDowell. Both are close by, are just a few blocks from the freeway, and have much more space (and more gas pumps) to work from. read more

Most of the employees here are quick, friendly, and efficient! But this Circle K is TOO SMALL for the location it's in! Four gas pumps in a tiny lot right next to the freeway?? CMON!! And there are one or two employees that are... slower/older.. and somehow they manage to get scheduled during some pretty busy hours, resulting in a line all the way to the back of the store. I love the convenience of the location, but most days I'll drive right by this one to hit the one right up the road! read more

Try to get gas and machine won't work. Go inside and there are three people in line. Finally get to the front to pay for gas and attendant tells the guy behind me there is no gas today. A gas station with no gas and no communication about it. No signs of excellence in sight. Hope they can turn it around. read more

They get one star cuz I can't give zero...Worst Circle K and gas station in Phoenix. I hate that this gas station is the closest to my house and part of my commute route. The employees are all horrible. They are so slow. Even when there are two workers I still wait in line for too long. They also seem to mess up on my transactions every time. This last time the cashier put me on the wrong pump and it was my last 15 dollars on my debit card and he had to reverse and he did it too many times so my card declined and wouldn't work. I ran out of gas on the way home and had to wait 2 days for it to go back on My card. The employees claimed they couldn't find any transaction of mine to void out. Other than that, the parking lot is an accident waiting to happen it's so hard to get in and out of and wait in line for a pump. And there are always homeless people outside begging for money. It's just the worst place to go and from now on I will go out of my way to go to another gas station preferably QT which is about 3 miles out of the way but to me very worth it. read more
