In my lifetime, I've shopped three Rite Aid locations in the country. One in Pennsylvania, another…read morein Ohio, and this one. When I entered, I was greeted warmly. I went to them to ask if my Insurance card would be accepted for the payment, since their store was listed as accepting it. They knew right away what I meant and it was reassuring. FSA cards and such don't always work as easily as the companies say that they will. This one didn't even seem to be an FSA card but the insurance company was saying that I could buy gifts and food and more. In any case, I looked over the whole store, minus two or three aisles with make up and such. I scanned the Nature Made vitamins and those were accepted. I was surprised, as that brand is usually the best in stores, and the most expensive. As I went to the cash register, it was quiet. The cashier, who I've met in the past from the other side of the counter, was friendly and helpful. She mentioned that one of them seemed to be BOGO and I went back to get another. Signing up for the store rewards got me an instant $4.00 off. I got four bottles and one was free with the other deal. They accepted the insurance card and I still have over $20 available on that.

There was chips close by and he was able to ring it up with our ice cream order. My friend suggested an ice cream so I will be coming back soon when a craving for ice cream comes up. Parking is available and they are close to a Dollar Tree. Food is in the area as well. Perfect run for all things needed and a treat.

Most of the employees seem very young and there's a lot of cussing between staff members, which feels unprofessional. Items sometimes ring up at a different price, and many things are out of stock. The aisles are often filled with boxes, which makes it hard to shop. I've started going to the CVS in Lathrop instead. It's sad to see how quickly this place has changed because it used to be one of my favorite places to shop. I'm not sure if management changed or what happened, but unfortunately I'll be avoiding this location from now on.

Don't believe "Your prescription is ready" ! My wife was…read morenotified that her prescription was ready on a phone message at 9:30 am yesterday. 24 hrs later at 10:15 am, I was told in the drive through that the prescription was not ready, but but would be ready in 20 - 30 minutes. I parked, went inside, let the pharmacy tech know I was waiting. After 35 minutes, I went to check. The prescription was in the "waiting to be picked up" shelf, but they had not let me know. No apology was offered. I cannot express how much I wish that Walgreens was NOT my wife's insurance preferred provider. Next time, I'll stay parked in the drive through window, so I won't be forgotten. Follow up: Got home. The prescription we needed was short - only 5 of 60 pills. Not that unusual, but I wasn't told at the time. The interesting part is that 3 prescription we did NOT need and supposedly was set only to be refilled on specific request, were filled. It's amazing that when Walgreens makes a mistake, it results in greater revenue!
