I believe it's a newer Pilot, and even so, the outside was clean with no trash strewn around. The inside was also tidy, everything is naturally priced higher than normal, but it had lots of high carb/sugary items and snacks to purchase. The bathroom, was CLEAN. Thank you! Clean as in you are not afraid to enter, with ample supplies. If you are on the road you encounter a ton of dirt and grime, but at least you can stop here for a break.

She sneered at me, as usual, asked me what I was doing, I told her, and she responded, "We don't take coupons." I said, "Sure you do as long as they're digital" while I waited for the coupon to load. Once it loaded, I got in line, asked for the Alto refill pack, she got it, then tried to tell me the coupon was for a single, as in a pack containing only one pod. Alto doesn't sell refill packs with only one pod in it. A refill pack contains 2 pods minimum; therefore, it was a single pack and unbelievable to me that she works with the product daily but doesn't know that. As people began forming a long line due to her complicating what should have Bern a two minute transaction and rang up my purchase. I asked for a receipt, and she told me to move. I asked again, and she yanked one out of the register, slapped it on the counter and barked at me to move again. I find this lack of proper customer service to be extremely rude and unprofessional, and it is only one example of her behavior. I say "her" because when I asked for the clerk's name, she refused to give it to me. I would rather pay higher prices elsewhere than continue to be treated in that manner by someone with terrible customer service skills. One of the fuel attendants calls me Captain and one of the clerks told me, "I like your look, it's like a movie." It's always a fun trip to the corner store. They have a decent selection of beer and wine, and they even have fresh limes. They do not stock gluten-free beer, which makes me sad, but ultimately leaves space for that 5th star I like how this place just keeps on going no matter who owns it or how the outside looks - it's kinda like a TARDIS-Dr. Who situation. But I thought there was a new law that went into effect on January 1st this year that customers can now pump their own gas. Maybe there is more to it than that (clause, fine print etc). Anyway... Sometimes you get lucky and your attendant is friendly like when we arrived here to get gas one morning. The first time we filled up here prior to our trip to Bend. The older attendant came up to us with a warm friendly attitude asked my hubby if wanted a full tank so he proceeded to pump gas and then started to clean our windshield. We could barely see from the bugs that hit our windshield traveling to our timeshare last night. The wipers don't do a good job and just smears the whole window. What kind of bugs are these... are these midges? Anyway, he did a great job too! The whole time the gas was pumping the attendant was nice and courteous (even with our California plates LoL). Gave us our receipt and even gave us a quick direction to Bend. Is it customary to tip these attendants in Oregon for their friendly service? I dunno, but the hubby did. The next day, we decided to fill up here again in the morning before heading to Crater Lake. The attendant (a different one from yesterday) probably saw our California plates. The convenience store part has a good selection of drinks, a small collection of candy and snacks, and some random items such as cereal, paper towels, etc. The deli is surprisingly nice and high quality.
