It was just okay. The owner of this franchise reached out to me and advised that they work really hard to have quality fish. For me the issue was not the fish, which is really good, but their particular batter that absorbs so much oil. Note: having lived in the UK, I've had a lot of fish and chips there. So a trip today to Katy to pick up some things at Nellis put me near to their Katy location. And I saw that they are featuring walleye currently. I ordered the 3 piece fish with two sides of cole slaw as I think their fries are forgettable. About $21. The fish was really good, but again, the batter recipe they've come up was not one that I was thrilled by. Great crunch but I needed to grab napkins and remove as much grease as possible in order to enjoy the meal. I finished off with that afore mentioned chocolate decadence and enjoyed it so much I ordered a two scoop vanilla with marshmallow cream after. I know you may be confused at why would I still give them 4 stars because as the MANAGER she listened to constructive criticism, offered a solution and made sure I was satisfied. I believe it is very important as a REVIEWER to be honest and fair while also telling the truth along with offering a the solution. Whomever is the owner of this franchise I am sure you may be disappointed with the "24 minute hold time" but you should be more proud of having a manager in place who does damage control and encourages the customer to return for a better experience as well as fix the food again.
