Not my regular Harris Teeter but nevertheless, still very good…read more My regular Harris Teeter and the grocery store I shop at the most is the one at Jetton Cove which is right down from my house in Cornelius. This one was build a few years after the Cornelius Store. In many ways it like the Cornelius store and the other higher end Harris Teeter except this is essentially a reverse floor plan than Cornelius. When you walk into the Cornelius Store, the produce, flowers etc are on the right and here they are on the left etc so took a few minutes to reorient myself. It's not that I am totally unfamiliar with the store because at work, we have occasional need for dry ice and this is my go to place for that. My wife was home today with a virus and since I was having lunch around the corner, she asked if I would stop for some bread and more DayQuil which I was happy to do so. Walked in on the left and flowers were right there. Decided to try and cheer her up and buy her some flowers. Found a nice one but I hate to say it, the selection is somewhat more limited that the selection in the Cornelius Store. Found the Bread and picked that up. Had to asked an employee where the OTC's Drugs were at and she directed me to the Pharmacy which is on the right in Cornelius so needless to say, on the left in this store. Found the DayQuil and looked for a name brand equivalent which they did not have so ended up with the name brand DayQuil. Still a nice store and they did have most of what I was looking for and just had to do a little hunting for it.

#93/2022 Well this is a quick update here a lot of changes…read morehave taken place since I started the first yelping back in 2016 this is one of the first places I reviewed. Wow I haven't realized it's been that long LOL. I think I maybe had to yelp friends at the time? Lot of times rolling up out of Charlotte I'd like to take 321 out of Gastonia up towards hickory and jump on I-40 and go over Black mountain into the Asheville area. The old Exxon Mart is still there they still have truck parking the cafe still has good home cooking however the last few months staffing is really taking a major hit. So basically as of around Halloween of 2022 they now close on Saturday nights not just the restaurant but the whole facility and they stay closed all day Sunday now. There's not really any time frame as if they're going to be back again they are 24/7 though during the week until Saturday night at 10:00 p.m.. For the restaurant is there there's a third shift and you can get good home cooking and grub along with everything else they still don't have showers; but that is the one big change is currently they do shut down at 10:00 at night and the whole facility does not open up until Monday

The store is clean, well maintained, and quiet. There seemed to be more snacks available compared to the other local Walgreens. I may consider transferring my prescriptions here for all of the stated reasons.
