I pumped my gas, then headed over to get a car wash. The young guy explained the various full service options and helped me to select the best one. He even explained the point system to receive free washes with their loyalty program. In the past I've had anxiety about going through the car wash because my wiper blades almost got ripped off. The owner Steve walked up and said on the Lexus you just hold up the gear and it keeps the mist wiper sensor off. He was very confident and convincing. Now I was comfortable proceeding through. I could tell this was some high-tech cleaning machines like no other I had been to. Once the wash was over I proceeded to the full service drying station. The guys vacuumed and cleaned my car like a professional detailing company! I was beyond pleased. I've never received this service at any other car wash! They even asked me to look it over and if anything needed more attention. Wow! All that for only $26! I waited in their comfortable waiting area. Which had tvs and lounge chairs. Not your typical waiting area. I decided to go inside the market and check it out. This was not your average gas station. When I tell you this was the cleanest store I've ever seen. They sold everything from clothing to wine! I took advantage and did a little shopping while there and purchased some soft served ice yogurt with toppings. Y'all it was too good and inexpensive. This was hands down my best experience and I'll be coming back twice a month. Check back for more reviews on this business. You will definitely not be disappointed.

When you get off of I-77, pay attention to the price of gas. It's starts dropping off pretty quickly until you get to Quik Trip. Today it was 10 cents per gallon less expensive for the Premium I have to use. Have only gone inside for food one time because there are so many restaurant around but one day I did grab a quick sausage in a bun and it was good unlike most of the ones you find where they have been on the heaters for hours. Food was good if that's what you want but again, a lot more variety outside. Only used the restrooms once and they were very clean, trashcans were empty and no extraneous odors. If you're willing to drive that extra mile, you can save a bit of money although at rush hour, River Hwy can be clogged and slow.

It's a typical self serve gas station with a convivence store as well. Being just off of I-77 on NC 150 (River Hwy) it tends to be a couple of cents more expensive that other stations a short distance away. Still if you're sticking with Shell, it's one of your few options. No need to go into the store unless you need a receipt and the pump does not give it to you. Ended up being the case. Easy in from Brawley School or Charlotte Hwy and the traffic light makes getting back out a pretty straightforward task. They have a weird policy of coming over the intercom at the pump saying "welcome to Rushco." While you may be thinking 'Hey that's great, there greeting customers,' it probably would be great if the people doing it spoke with any positive tone. It normally comes off as someone who is being forced to do it. Speaking of being forced to say or do something. One of the few times I've been inside I grabbed a drink and paid inside for gas. The attendant, an older man who looked like he had never smiled in his life asked me if I wanted a car wash. I was driving a truck and trailer and jokingly said 'I'm not sure if that will fit in the wash' and he repeated in the same monotone 'Car wash, yes or no?' Pretty off-putting. A very clean store, nice and organized. The lady I'm assuming is the manager seems pretty nice too. I understand that it's hard to get people that want to do a good job at a convenient store, but the service I got was off-par and discourages me to return. I hope management makes an effort in training staff better on customer service, or looks into incentives for staff to want to do a good job! Would be a great store if they could nail service!

The first thing I noticed was the smell of weed when I walked into the entrance, past the office. There were no cars in front of me, only one being towel dried after the wash and it took 20 minutes for my car to get vacuumed and through the wash. This is with five employees on site, on a Saturday morning. What was more disappointing was watching the employee work with absolutely no hustle, slow to get out of the car, walking slow and continuously stopping to look at their phone. An odd thing to do when your customers are waiting and the cashier makes sure to ask if you want change for tips. I understand that I'm paying for a $40 car wash and not a detail but just overall disappointing. I ended up being on site for just over 40 minutes.....for a drive through car wash that wasn't busy?!
