It's a quaint little place with good seating in an outdoor space and I love it when our coffee group comes here! We will definitely be back again!

The staff was very friendly, and everything in the pastry case looked amazing. Unfortunately, the dining area was somewhat dirty and disorganized. I realize that was probably a combination of customers not cleaning up after themselves and the staff being too busy to keep pace, but there was food smeared in several places, and we had to do quite a bit of cleaning before we could settle in. We really wanted to love this place, but we left disappointed overall. My croque monsieur was the clear standout--a genuine 10 out of 10. It was absolute perfection. Unfortunately, my wife's classic ham-and-cheese baguette was the exact opposite. The ham and cheese were excellent, but the baguette was blackened on the bottom and so tough that she couldn't bite through it. She eventually gave up and ate only the meat and cheese. A baguette should have a satisfying chew and a good crust, but it shouldn't require a battle. When you visit a French bakery, freshly baked bread should be one of the highlights. The turkey salad side was also unappealing. It contained a seasoning neither of us cared for, and the overall dish felt greasy and heavy. It needed some fruit, nuts, or another bright element to provide contrast and balance. The tomato soup served with my sandwich was perfectly decent, but it wasn't noticeably better than a good premade soup from the grocery store. We also tried a pear pastry, chocolate chip cookies, and another pastry roll. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable, either. Everything was simply okay. We would be willing to give the bakery another chance and sample some different pastries. The bread used for my croque monsieur was outstanding, so I would gladly return for a loaf of that if it's available to purchase. Overall, however, the experience was good rather than memorable, and we don't feel any urgency to return. To those about to nosh, we salute you--and hope you don't break your jaw on an overcooked baguette!

Love this place!!! Decided to meet up with a friend for coffee (well tea for me) and she suggested…read morethis place as 'the perfect spot'. And it was. I read through some of the other reviews and I want to set the record straight. Yes, it's inside a church but there is a separate entrance. Yes, there are Christian books but also other genres. Yes, the coffee is very affordable BECAUSE all the staff are volunteers. No one is getting paid and they LOVE what they do. All smiles and great service. The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support. Every now and again if you're thinking of getting coffee or a pastry, choose them. Why not? Do some good for the community through others who are committed to giving back.

But the moment you…read morewalk in that all goes away, you're greeted by intoxicating aromas that satisfy the doubt of "just another trendy coffee shop", especially if you catch them baking the incredible sweet treats that they offer! As basic as it sounds, get the chocolate chip cookie and DONT scrape off the salt. It's INCREDIBLE!! Above that the coffee they serve here is truly top notch, so many different notes in so many different brewing methods... if you truly love coffee, come here and don't be afraid to explore something off your usual path. The incredible team behind the scenes at the Highland Creek store has been absolutely incredible. Welcoming a new patron with open arms and making sure I leave completely satisfied gives you that feeling that you're not just another customer. Especially if you engage in conversation of their offerings. Summit might be classified as a "chain" due to their multiple storefronts... but this one runs like a small business that cares. Thank you so much for what you guys do!!

Stopped by here after searching for a coffee place I haven't been to yet…read more It was 9:30-ish am on a Sunday and had a decent amount of customers. Some working, some ordering to go, some hanging out with friends. The playlist was jamming! Was my first time here and was easy to order. The menu is on the wall and they have the seasonal menu there as well. I got the brown sugar cinnamon latte, warmed. It was good but not super strong in flavor. A hint but not milky if that makes sense. I'd order jt again. And it's reasonably priced. A little over $6 for a 16. oz. THEY DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR MILK SUBSTITUTES!!!! I love that concept and wish all places did the same.
