I read through a good part of the reviews before we stopped and was afraid to stop. But hey...when…read moreyou need gas and you gotta "go"...you stop! It's older for sure, the bathrooms are acceptable, and could be cleaner, but honestly, you can thank your fellow traveler for the conditions most of the time (people never cease to amaze me). They have everything you need and then some in the store. They do have a food area inside that sells a plethora of items in case you're hungrier than just snack hungry. The prices for snacks, drinks, etc. are just like any other store of this caliber. I didn't think the employees were rude, nor friendly...just doing the job and handling customers as quickly as they could. Anyway, how can you not love the name of the place?

And just being a smart ass and said, "Yeah, they call me... Tater Salad" or Tater for short. Okay enough cracking myself up, so I mention food and yes they have all the expected snack stuff but they have a full kitchen that serves food all day long and into the night. Lot of fried stuff, chicken, fish, liver & gizzard, tater babies (whatever that is), burgers, and even salads. Plus, they have Hunts Brother's pizza, and I like that. Their new posted hours for serving food is: Mon-Fri 4am-10pm & Sat-Sun 6am-10pm Bottom line: It's an Exxon station with food and an acceptable restroom :-)

The posted price was already competitive, but scanning my Love's app knocked another 10 cents per gallon off, which makes the stop feel even smarter when you're watching the miles add up. The parking area is easy to slip into, the pump layout is wide and clean, and I had no trouble getting my high roof Sprinter van lined up without any awkward maneuvering. While the 20 gallons flowed in, I had enough time to clear the road grime off the windshield with their long stick squeegees, which always feels like a small victory on a long drive. It ended up being a smooth, efficient stop from start to finish, and it's one more reminder of why I rarely skip a Love's when I'm trying to keep the trip moving without any fuss. My coworker and I swapped drivers seat and Love's Travel Stop was an obvious choice, Subway was attached so yes perfect. Quick options and f snack, the always have the best flavors of 5 hr Energy shots and I collect magnets. Because Love's accept Fuelman as well as so many other corporate fuel cards without problems it's a no brainer. This particular Love's offered banana icee, which she couldn't stop raving about. Also when I use to travel with my dude in his 18 wheeler, Love's showers are well maintained ever for the boogiest of people. I highly recommend Loves's Travel Stop's and always will return! They only have one review and quite frankly sounds fishy. I have stopped here several times over…read morethe last few years and the folks here are actually super, super friendly and very accommodating every time. Every visit to Keith's Superstore feels like stepping into a small-town shop where the staff genuinely care about their customers. The store is always clean, well-stocked, and organized, making it easy to find what I need, whether it's a quick snack, Hunts Brothers Pizza, beer, ice, or just a cold drink on a hot Mississippi day. The prices are standard for a convenience store, and they have they have lots of local products that add a nice touch of charm. What really stands out is the service. The employees greet you with a smile, and they're quick to help if you're looking for something specific. On one visit, I was in a rush and couldn't find a particular item, one of the cashiers didn't just point me in the right direction; they walked me to the aisle and made sure I got what I needed. The store itself isn't all that fancy, but it's got everything you'd expect from a solid convenience stor like fuel, snacks, drinks, and some basic groceries and some interesting souvenir items like gator heads and pickled quail eggs. :-) It's clear they take pride in keeping the place in good shape. I've never had a bad experience here, and that's saying something considering how many times I've swung by over the years. If you're passing through Lucedale, Keith's is worth a stop. Don't let that single odd review fool you, this place is a reliable, friendly spot that gets it right every time. very accommodating every time.

Michelle probably shouldn't be working here if she isn't (black) person friendly. First I walked in…read moreand saw her cutting a 12 inch pizza and asked could I get it because it was already ready. She said yes and proceeds to cut it up and put them in individual boxes. Then tells me it will only take 12-13 minutes to make a new one, as if there were people sitting there waiting. Besides one other person, I was the only person even in the store. Then she proceeds to tell me she has to charge me for extra peanut cups when I only grabbed it because I used the small cup and then upgraded to the bigger cup, instead of throwing it away, I was just going to repurpose the EMPTY small cup. So I threw it away at her request. She mis-charged me at the register and had to void the entire purchase then when I went to grab the obviously FREE clear bowls, she said she had to charge me for those as well. I said that's fine, but she didn't even have a price to charge, because they were FREE, but she just wanted to be difficult for absolutely no reason at all. So we are back on the road with a full sized pizza with nothing for the kids to eat on. Should have just skipped this stop all together. All of that definitely wasn't called for. I hope she has the day she deserves.

Hello all. I'll…read morestart with the good. You can always count on this truck stop to be spotless, especially the bathrooms. I do a lot of traveling around Mississippi and this franchise is always on top of keeping things clean. However, I often come to the one in Poplarville more than the others, which is why I've made a post about this particular one. There are quite a number of great employees at this establishment as well. To name a few, Christina, Jace, and Jordan are quite helpful and polite. I frequent this stop often to the point where I know I'm going to get good customer service if they're working. The bad, however, is quite bad. Never in my life have a met a more rude employee than Jasmine. I frequently visit this establishment in the early mornings where I've encountered this unfriendly employee several times, with each time getting worse than the last. To say she is the rudest, unfriendliest, laziest, most unhelpful, and bitchiest employee is an understatement. Everytime she actually has to do her job at the counter she acts like her job is a burden. Most of the time that she's not at the register she's simply walking around doing nothing. No managers seem to put her in check ever, which I find appalling since her attitude is so bad that it's hard to turn a blind eye to. On multiple occasions she's caught an attitude when I ask for help. She's rolled her eyes and given dramatic sighs more times than I can count. I did speak with a manager about this, but clearly management doesn't care about the way their employees treat their customers. Once, I asked for $10 on pump 8, but she put $8 on pump 10. When I told her I never got money on the pump, she told me it was on pump 10. I asked if she could move it and she told me it'd be easier if I just drove over to the pump. Absolutely unacceptable. Jasmine needs a severe reality check. If you're going to be useless and bitchy, find another job. You don't need to work with the public if you're going to make an old man feel like a burden for requesting that his money be moved to the right pump. That is all.
