Every visit to Keith's Superstore feels like stepping into a small-town shop where the staff genuinely care about their customers. The store is always clean, well-stocked, and organized, making it easy to find what I need, whether it's a quick snack, Hunts Brothers Pizza, beer, ice, or just a cold drink on a hot Mississippi day. The prices are standard for a convenience store, and they have they have lots of local products that add a nice touch of charm. What really stands out is the service. The employees greet you with a smile, and they're quick to help if you're looking for something specific. On one visit, I was in a rush and couldn't find a particular item, one of the cashiers didn't just point me in the right direction; they walked me to the aisle and made sure I got what I needed. The store itself isn't all that fancy, but it's got everything you'd expect from a solid convenience stor like fuel, snacks, drinks, and some basic groceries and some interesting souvenir items like gator heads and pickled quail eggs. :-) It's clear they take pride in keeping the place in good shape. I've never had a bad experience here, and that's saying something considering how many times I've swung by over the years. If you're passing through Lucedale, Keith's is worth a stop. Michelle probably shouldn't be working here if she isn't (black) person friendly. First I walked in…read moreand saw her cutting a 12 inch pizza and asked could I get it because it was already ready. She said yes and proceeds to cut it up and put them in individual boxes. Then tells me it will only take 12-13 minutes to make a new one, as if there were people sitting there waiting. Besides one other person, I was the only person even in the store. Then she proceeds to tell me she has to charge me for extra peanut cups when I only grabbed it because I used the small cup and then upgraded to the bigger cup, instead of throwing it away, I was just going to repurpose the EMPTY small cup. So I threw it away at her request. She mis-charged me at the register and had to void the entire purchase then when I went to grab the obviously FREE clear bowls, she said she had to charge me for those as well. I said that's fine, but she didn't even have a price to charge, because they were FREE, but she just wanted to be difficult for absolutely no reason at all. So we are back on the road with a full sized pizza with nothing for the kids to eat on. Should have just skipped this stop all together. All of that definitely wasn't called for. I hope she has the day she deserves.

If you can, call ahead and place your order or you may have to wait a while. It's what we call, "Gas station cuisine" down south. They sell a little bit of everything from pressed sandwiches to live bait. They even have a tanning bed! Basically, it's one stop shopping so if you're going fishing or headed to the river it's definitely a place you'll want to visit.

It's not my favorite station because it's small and old and not that easy to get in and out of. There is no indoor service so if you want a Coke or pack of smokes or whatever you walk up to a window. There is always a line but I have never had to wait long. The Walmart is open 24/7 but the gas closes at 11pm if I'm not mistaken. Overall if you want to save a few cents a gallon and don't mind waiting a few minutes for your turn at the pump, this is your stop. I hate the star rating sometimes because it can make a not so bad place look bad but I give 3 because you can't go in and there is no restroom. I like to go in and get a huge Diet Mountain Dew in the fountain and an icee so this is why I can't give it a decent star review.
