Absolute worst customer service I think I have a ever experienced in any industry. Period. The so called "Night manager Cid," is a total asshole. This guy is such a joke, such a disservice to the Circle K / Shell brand. I purposefully go to Shell gas stations for my work and personally vehicles. I have a Shell credit credit and am a fuel rewards member and happen to value that they use a higher quality product. Long story short after having driven from Austin to Dallas, then Dallas to Round Rock for work, I needed to fill up again. I happened to stop by this particular gas station because it is around the corner from my office and I was familiar. I had just spent several hours on the road mind you and went in to use the restroom (after filling my tank) and intended to get some water. Cid, the disrespectful, unpersonable, poor excuse for an employee and horrendous example of what any management should be. He told me that it was night time, the restroom is closed. It was at best 9-9:30 at this point. NOT 2 A.M., I'm dressed professionally in a polo shirt with an ID badge and a company marked vehicle right in the line of sight still at pump. I asked him again, "You really don't provide paying customers access to the restroom?" The sign next to the door clearly states "Restroom for paying customer only" He blatantly ignored me after loooking at me. I asked again, "Excuse me, I need to use the restroom. I just filled up outside. Is there a key?" He responded, "Not for you, its locked buddy." I decided one more time to ask, and he waved me off with a hand gesture (or flipped me off, hard to say) and told me that he already told me no and to "Get out, thanks." To leave. I asked him who the manager was to which he explained, "I am, get it right, bro, bye." At this point I am livid, such a rude and disrespectful encounter. I asked for his name and who the real manager was, because he clearly wasn't fit for that job. I don't know if this is a franchised or corporate store but this guy is everything any reputable company wouldn't want representing their brand. Someone should really evaluate this employee and his fitment for his "duties." read more
