This TD/Shell was super clean with easy access from 72 or Balch Road. The pumps worked as expected and trash cans were not overflowing. There were plenty of gas pumps, and parking spots. The store interior was stocked well, and was clean and modern. The TD offers all the convenience store accoutrements you would expect except vino. There is no vino in this store. They do have beer for sale. I can't speak to the coffee or the restrooms as I just glanced around the TD and got back to running errands. Thanks, TD, for offering a large, clean, well-lighted gas station experience in a part of town that really needs this (I'm looking at you Mapco on the north side of 72 at County Line Road - which is super tight in terms of space and frequented by panhandlers)!

When hubs went inside to check, he happily returned with a six pack. He said the store clerk was helpful providing him a bag to put the six single cans in. It's nice to find the prize when scavenger hunting. Circle K has pizza, sandwiches, fountain drinks and lots of other merchandise. I was very surprised at the number of patrons purchasing items that did not buy gas. This is a favorite convenience store for many.

I reported the complaints customers have had about the gas pumps to the EPA before I left when a red light was flashing outside. The solution was cut the power to the light. EPA said they were going to do a full investigation so maybe that will be corrected in time and I also told Corporate so they can fix it since their manager refuses to. The folks that complained about the manager to us, you were correct in your assessments and opinions. No one likes to be ignored, talked down to or having someone gaslight them. During those days nearly 3 years ago I frequented this Mapco, using the rewards card and getting items from inside. The parking lot is a tad tight now, the concrete bumpy and rough and depending on the time of day you will have trouble entering and exiting this store. It has a Domino's just north of it and this particular intersection can be and really is a cluster if you don't hit it during the "sweet spot." Employees, in my experience, have been generally helpful-with the Mr. or Ms. "I forgot to take my meds today," sometimes manning the checkout line. It's small. I think there are three lanes of pumps with one pump per lane. Most days my rewards card doesn't work at the pump. And ya know what? The Mapco app is even worse because it is nearly impossible to set up and use. To sum it up: there are two Mapcos in this general vicinity. This one and the one further east/southeast from this one on Old Madison Pike near the Rideout Road/University Drive intersection behind Wal Mart. Completely avoid that one unless you are looking to buy some meth. This one comes in at close second for me as pretty much ghetto.
