Overpriced, incompetent staff, dirty and old apartment complex. That's how I will simply put it. This place is absolutely horrible especially for the price. Parking? Forget it, they tell you they guarantee you 2 parking spots but you would lucky to find 1 parking space after 9pm. When I asked them to enforce the parking by hiring a tow staff company, they gave me the run around. You have to park 1 mile away from the apartment and take an uber home or have a friend pick you up. It's that ridiculous. For the price I'm paying, I can get a much nicer apartment in San Diego or Santa Monica (both expensive areas) The apartment is drab, bland and old. I had to request 10s of repairs here and it just became frustrating. The management needs to be changed. I can't wait to move of this place next month and never look back. read more

My girlfriend has lived here for a year and a half now. I came here to visit her and we hung out at pool, and There was one thing that caught my attention. I couldn't but noticed this lady interacting with the family and kids. They were laughing and she walked over to us and introduced herself as Dee. I believe that was her name. She also mentioned that she was a manager here. This was the first time I have ever seen a manager interacting with the residents here like she did. I don't know about you, but to me that's huge! It shows a lot of character. The fact she took her time to get to know the people living here. That's all I got to say. read more

5+ stars for Cinammon Ridge and the property management! I lived here for 2 years and never encountered anything negative. When I had maintenance issues, management was quick to respond and resolve them. The facilities are well maintained and the landscape is beautiful. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet. Jon is the current Property Manager and he has been very professional in the few encounters I had. But I want to commend Jenny who assisted me tremendously and guided me with my unexpected departure from Cinammon Ridge. I would highly recommend Cinnamon Ridge for any family! read more

We have lived at this property for 3 years. We have gone through quite a few managers (something Arnel does that I actually do not like) BUT John the current manager is amazing and I truly hope he stays our manager for a long time. He is very attentive to his resident's needs and is always welcoming and ready to answer questions if we call. It is a wonderful complex. It's quiet and peaceful and really, really clean. The moment my Fiancé and I walk in the door to found a apartment together August 7th, 2018 . we knew Cinnamon Ridge in Fullerton would be home for us. The management in the leasing office are outstanding and very ambitious on meeting your goals . They did their best to work with us and to for Fill our need to move in soon as possible for August 11th 2018. it's a amazing place to live ,very peaceful and have air conditioning for the hot summers. I have lived here for about 6 months. I pay my rent on time, keep to my self, and follow the rules. Pretty simple. This is a quiet place and from that standpoint it's not a bad place to be. However, in 6 months I've had no hot water on 6 different days--very tough to wake up to a cold shower--literally. The entire pool was closed on Labor Day and Christmas Day--no notice, warning, or reason. Both days were beautiful weather and it'd been nice to hang out by the pool/jacuzzi, but nope, gate was padlocked. Trying to extend your lease is a hassle as others have said...they increase your rent as though the lease just started so I have to pay $200 more per month. It'd be nice if they recognize you for time already spent. I guess they don't care about retaining renters. On site managers are rotated every 30/60 days so no follow up. No way to build rapport either. Gives them an "easy out" for not being accountable as when something needs fixing, you have to tell 5 different people and wait 3 months... They have little kids running all over the place. Lease says that kids are supposed to have an adult present when in common areas, but nope.... Lots of smokers everywhere, so if you don't smoke, might consider somewhere else. Zero parking for guests. This is a huge problem. If you live here, hope you never have anyone visit. read more

I don't even know where to begin... To start it all off I have lived here for 2 years and my lease renewal is up in March. Thank goodness because we have had the worst experience with Dulce the newest manager. When I first moved in Karissa the manager at the time convinced me to move here on the second floor with a 2 year old. While she was kind she obviously had no children because I expressed my concerns with going to the top floor with a kid who runs around and she assured me it would be ok. (By the way it wasn't and my downstairs neighbor and I literally hated our lives and our situation) As soon as I came in to sign my lease Cameron started and he was great!! He remembered my name from that one lease signing and continued to recognize my existence which made living here very personable. We moved on to Brian who was also great extremely sufficient and professional and then fast forward to Dulce... words cannot express my frustration with this new manager and her inability to run this place. With all the previous managers I would call the office and the phone would ALWAYS be picked up. I literally never got a time when someone didn't pick up. If I made a repair request we would have someone at our door in a matter of hours. Pretty much always that day no later. But as soon as Dulce started I made several request to have light bulbs switched out in the restroom and I waited for a week and then after calling the office several times and LEAVING messages I walked up with my preemie baby and went to the office. I kindly asked why the phones never get picked up and she had the nerve to tell me, "can't you see we are really busy?" I got so upset but tried to hide it and told her that I am completely understanding and just want to know when my work order will be completed and she said she would put in the request again. So I waited a couple of days and finally walked my butt back in and it got done that day. That is only a start... since November my heater broke in the master bedroom but I was so frustrated with Dulce that I just bought a heater and survived well this winter was extremely rainy and cold and that heater just wasn't cutting it so once the living room heater also broke I walked in asked if it could be repaired. The assistant Heather was there and she said she would put in a work order. So I waited... no maintenance guys what so ever (by the way the maintenance guys are extremely helpful and kind, I especially love Phillipe!! He's always willing to go above and beyond) so I asked Phillipe when he was outside and he said he never got a message. So off to the office again. Made another request with Dulce. Waited again. No heater. Finally called the office and I spoke to Kathy which I also love because of her promptness and kindness. She put the request in and Phillipe was at my door in an hour or less. So he checks everything and said that the master and the living room heaters need to be completely replaced. I waited a day or two and got a new heater in the master. He said he would be back on Monday to replace the living room. So I waited and no heater. I saw him outside on the following Friday past Monday and he said it still wasn't in. I called the office and spoke to Heather again and explained my frustration as I had a preemie baby who had severe lung issues and was always getting sick his whole couple of months so I told her how crucial it is that it needs to be fixed. She said temporarily she would send up a portable heater until the new unit arrives. Weeks passed and no heater, we were so fed up with having a sick baby and two other kids constantly sick and being in the cold, so we ended up buying another heater but the upstairs room has vaulted ceilings and it would take forever to heat up the room. So my husband said we should just eat the cost and move out for our baby's and kids sake. So the whole month of Dec, Jan, Feb we have had the whole family of 5 constantly sick. We ended up moving on Feb 18 before our lease ends on 3/20. After speaking to my friend who's an attorney he stated that this is legal worthy so will be looking into that route as well. Sorry Dulce but what a mistake you made to cause Arnel some stress. I know my story is long but I hope the new manager who just came in can handle all the mess ups that Dulce created. She seems extremely competent and was really professional and caring when I came in to give my 30 day notice. I don't want to completely cut down this apartment due to one manager because my past experiences before Dulce were great. We liked our neighbors and we had a pleasant experience before her with management and maintainer guys. read more

This is my fifth year living in Cinnamon Ridge Apartments. The first few years of my experience in this apartment complex was'nt that bad, until I met my new neighbors that are loud, disgusting, and unhygienic. I have been getting harassed by their loud music, filthy trash, and other discomforts for the last 2years. They turn on loud music everyday, talk loudly on the patio, and even started to smoke marijuana lately with a few of their "friends." I have called the office and complained countlessly numerous times, and they have not done anything to change the neighbors' disgusting nature. The managers at the cinnamon ridge office told me that they could not do anything and told me to call the police. I actually did call the police a couple of times, but the real problem is that the office manager is NOT DOING THEIR JOB and this makes me believe that they should be REPLACED with someone else who will face their responsibilities. A home is a place where one can rest and enjoy their free time. My neighbors ruined that purpose of a "home" and I think the office manager should do something about it for once, even go as far as KICKING THEM OUT! Im tired of them acting like this for the last couple of years and this discomfort should come to an end NOW. If anyone is thinking about moving in to Cinnamon Ridge apartments, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE because they do not have rooms that are worth it for the price they offer them, and they also have EXTREMELY BAD MANAGERS THAT DO NOT DO THEIR JOB! I am just waiting for my yearly rent renewal to end, so that i can MOVE OUT. read more

From the beginning my roommates and I have had a difficult experience with the management here. We had four girls in a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. The amount of space was nice but for the amount of money we paid I think there are nicer and newer places out there. The response time for maintenance was very slow. At four different times the hot water knob in the master bathroom would not completely close and water was dripping from the faucet. It took over a week to finally get someone in there and took at least 2-3 calls from me. The fourth time there was actually a leak under the sink so we had to a pan there and I request someone come up by the next day. It took five days of living with our stuff all over the floor and room before someone finally showed up to fix it. Trying to end the lease was very difficult. Our situation was a little unique with two of the girls staying here (but moving to a one bedroom) while two of us moved. The manager Catherine and one of the workers Sharon told us several times that they would check with management about some of the specifics of our situation and would get back to us within a few days. Three weeks later we still had no firm answer and ended up walking in and the girls had to urgently request to sign the lease and get the keys so we could move out of our current apartment before getting charged for not being out on time. It was extremely frustrating to never hear back and we ended up with less than 24 hours to move all four girls out. Sharon was rude and unprofessional in most of the interactions and didn't seem to know how things worked at all. She even made the girls figure out which carport was theirs on their own. Several times we tried to come in on days that Catherine, the manager, was suppose to be working only to be told she was out for the day. Turns out she moved to another property and the third manager in the past year will be starting soon. Cinnamon ridge rotates through their staff so quickly that you never get to know the people in there and end up having to explain your situation over and over again. read more

Horrible place to live!do your self a favor and stay away from this place. The apartments are old there is no central ac, over priced and they increase rent about 140$ after a year. Very rude front desk staff.i kept the place clean and I still got 0/750 deposit I out and also a letter from collection agency for 1800 for the month I wasn't even in the place. They had charge me bc they said I didn't give then a month notice while I did that twice and instead of punishing their staff got carelessness they charged me . Overall horrible place read more

One of the most gross Apartments I've ever seen. No central air, cockroaches, rats And everything falling apart(even in the model house) not to mention beyond over priced. The apartment manager is very unprofessional and manipulative. Not worth the money at all. Not to mention it's not even actually gated. I've lived here for a year and have already been robbed twice. Very nice location near the Amerige Shopping Center. Lovely, safe feeling neighborhood. Norma the manager is very kind and helpful. Plenty of parking in the complex and on the street. The apartments are spacious with tons of light. The vaulted ceilings were great and the wide windows offered continual light during the day ( saved on electricity!) . The community room is usually empty and quiet. Beautifully landscaped with the cinnamon wood chips make for a tranquil yet cheerful environment. read more

She is very personable and made us feel very welcome when we decided to move into the apartment back in March. I won't recommend anybody to move into this apartment complex. I have been here for less than a month and I just want to move out now. Unfortunately, my lease is for a year and there is no possibility to pay an extra fee to move out. My car got towed because I did not have a permit sticker on my car. I was never advised about it by any of the personnel from the leasing office. They refused to pay me back the charges that I spent to take my car out of the pound. It's funny how during our first visit to see the apartment they mentioned that visitors can park in the open spaces. If they can enter why should I be worried about my car? They basically lied in order to sign the contract. The first day we moved in, the ceiling fan was not working and it took a week for someone to repair it, the stove was not working either and it took 4 days for someone to show up and see what happened. The shower hot and cold temperatures were inverted, the sliding door patio squeaked a lot when opening. The Parking is horrible!!!!! A few days ago, we came back home the other night and found that a neighbor's vehicle next to us had had a hole in the gas tank that someone poked underneath the car and was leaking a lot of gas. They had been calling the maintenance emergency number multiple times but NOBODY ever picked up. The personnel from the leasing office are hopeless. A next door neighbor was complaining about rats in the apartment complex, luckily I haven't seen one yet but it has been less than a month here. Since I moved here I have only issues. Moving to Cinnamon Ridge is probably one of my biggest mistakes. I feel cheated as they sold the idea of a perfect place but as soon as you move in you are done...this place sucks. read more

I would consider this brief: Arnel management and their Cinnamon ridge apartments management team are horrible! it appears their property managers are a direct reflection of their upper management: inability to manage, communicate affectively , respond to a resident/post resident request in a timely manner or follow through with what they say. cinnamon ridge has no parking and is overflowed with those who have multiple vehicles which is poorly managed and even if your vehicle is registered with them and out of a parking stall without the one placard they give you, you could be towed. it's not worth having guest(s) over because there's not even parking on the street, the guest spots are filled by residents and more times than not you have to pick them up from a shopping center down the street. the hot water goes out almost every month or two for anywhere from 1-3 days at a time. the property managers changed 4 times in one year and none communicated between each other nor kept a file or notes of any kind regarding issues. my apartment had multiple sewage smelling/looking floods within the first couple of weeks which came from the bathroom sink.. some minor, 2 which when i got home had flooded the entire apartment an inch over. re first time they said it was fixed until it flooded even worse the next day... after they "fixed" it again they had to clean the carpets when i wasn't home and i asked they close and lock the doors till i get home only to find out they left the back slider open. they never checked the wood floor which bubbled up water every time you stepped on it and even after emailing them pictures and asking for it to be repaired and they confirmed they received my email; ignored me and anytime i brought it up after they pretended not to know about , even trying to quiet me in front of future residents. No dogs are allowed but you wouldn't know because multiple residents obviously have dogs that bark and pee all over the grass and/or get walked through the complex...I gave my move out notice over 30 days before move out, only to find when i got my deposit return or lack there of (no damages or anything other than standard deductions and they gave me $15), it was not filed until almost a week later for which i was charged hundreds of dollars for. i was also charged an additional day because their offices were closed the evening i moved out and wasn't able to physically get the keys to the office until first thing the next morning. After multiple attempts of calling and stopping by the property for a week i finally got ahold of a manager who forwarded me to their management. For over a month I called each week up to two times a week leaving voicemails requesting call backs..after two weeks i got a hold of Jeff who redirected me yet again and two weeks later of the same non responses i finally spoke with bianca vargas... i got a "ill look into it" then an email shortly after stating she'd have an answer by 5pm the next day... needless to say i never heard back from her and again my attempts to contact her are being ignored. Over the year, each property manager and upper manager said they would take care of the issue at hand and each time they failed to follow through or "handling it"...by far the worst place i have ever lived. the only nice aspect was it being quiet but that's probably because no one wanted to be there. read more

Cinnamon Ridge recently changed their property manager. It is now Arnel, Unfortunately, they provide very poor service, with phone calls not returned and work orders for repairs canceled (with no work done). Upon the end of the lease, we were hit with large fees (that were not noted in the final walk thru). Note that parking is a major problem, THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR. While the facilities are acceptable, be careful (and warned) as they provided very poor service, problems take a while to get fixed and there are hidden costs when you move out. read more

Nice Manager and the staff is very friendly, laundry room kept very clean, spacious kitchens. The Club Room is very nice, Jacuzzi and Heated Pool is kept very clean. Staff is excellent. Norma the Manager at this complex does a fantastic job managing this large complex. I still make Cinnamon Ridge my home since I lost my home and basically I like it very much, beautiful setting..... read more

I stopped by today looking for a new apartment and the place is beautiful! the landscaping is immaculate and everything seems very well maintained. The office staff was really helpful also. I came in with my family and the people working there were telling us all about the schools in the area, local shopping and dining, and seemed genuinely concerned with finding us the right apartment. I don't plan on moving for a few more months but I will definitely be back! read more

If you think about moving here and have 2 vehicles be prepared to have to be home by 6 and do not leave. This property refuses to manage the parking situation despite numerous and I do mean numerous complaints. I'll check on a very regular basis and I find anywhere from 8-12 cars parked in open spaces without permits. And when I complained to upper management before their response was that whoever comes home earlier get the open space. That's a terrific solution unless you both get home later or you both have to go out somewhere. Not once did they acknowledge the problem or say they would do something about it. This is the type of quality you can expect from their front office. I i'm so tired of this situation not being taken seriously. I have already received a parking ticket on the street for being part on the red. But there is literally and I mean literally no parking for blocks. You would have to walk about 15 to 20 minutes to park somewhere and get home. That is how bad the parking situation is in this community. The worst part is that they do absolutely nothing about it. They don't issue warnings or let tenants know they will be towed if they park without a permit. So for anyone who has lived in an apartment complex before you understand the value of having parking. I would use caution before moving here. read more

worst experience i have ever encountered; promised a garage no-garage; even got to a point to have agreement to pertain a garage and due to the upper management pulling the plug literally minutes from getting assghned to a garage that they had promised was pulled. why; they rent to people that don't even liver here and at least four of the garages are taken up by maintenance.The pool, stupid, the kids and ducks are obnoxious not to mention very small. the laundry sucks; more expensive than taking off site; moving in they didn't have the apartment ready; nor was it cleaned; had to get it exterminated twice; still picking up silver fish, spiders, bugs non stop issues; smoking on balconies that go into non-smoking apartment and getting second hand smoke, drugs, gun shots, kids destroying the landscape; i think they didn't get the memo on the drought their landscape watered every night and sounds like a water splashing everywhere; the maintenance, no English and or do not understand; promises promises. I can't think of anyone wanting to live at any of the Arnel properties. I have lived here over a year and have gone through six managers and i don't know how many assistances and fill ins. they abuse their own employees and make them move to a property; there have been some good managers and they really want to help but anyone above the property management should be sued for their breach of contracts. i moved into an apartment and there were over 50 issues that needed to be addressed; and they have in the lease that they will take our moneys for the security deposit to clean the apartment; well read the CA laws for renters. if the apartment is not in the same or worse they can charge for cleaning; but i can tell you take pictures and do a walk through prior to moving out. Lastly secure not in the least, had a motorcycle helmet stolen who steals a helmet in a a supposedly secured area joke. if you choice to live here expect total lies, constant turn around, loud kids, paint and glazing on walls with old wall paper; layers of old paint; spiders, smokers; BBQ that don't work, maybe one, small pool that definitely needs to be cleaned, just don't waste your money; you will not believe the headaches you will encounter they call these luxury apartment, yah maybe out of the 80's, but not to today's standard; oh and you think the are earthquake secure, not really; lastly if your on the second floor ask not to be put near someone with kids, smokers, and don't lean on the balcony railings. you may just end up on your head. thank god i am out soon and i will get my security deposit back; know your rights as a tenant. way over prices; by a house or rent from landowner, these cookie cutter apartments i expect have the same if not worse experiences. read more
