Where has this place been my whole life?! I'm legitimately sad that I've gone 30 years of my life without experiencing dairy-free Cinnamon rolls. I have fond memories of having my first cinnamon roll when I was young and not yet severely lactose intolerant. It's not the same eating a dessert while needing to eat chalky lactase pills. Thankfully my partner had gone to Bonchon to get food and literally stumbled upon this place, and brought home 6 large cinnamon buns, and our lives have never been the same. Came here for the first time on a Friday night during summer after dinner in the same strip mall. We were the only customers which was great so we took our time reading the menu and choosing our selections. We ended up choosing three options which quite frankly are a little pricey considering the size but it was great that they were all being hand made it right in front of you. The space is cute the staff was nice and patient and of course there is a area for an Instagram photo. We took the rolls home to eat and they were delicious super rich and super sweet based off of our choices. I would definitely go back but this would have to be a treat due to the amount of sugar which is inherent in this particular food as well as the price point. I went here for my first time a while back when the location first opened. There was a long line out the door! Everyone was excited to try it out. The line moved surprisingly quick for the customizable menu. I think with it being opening weekend, most people ordered the pre-flavored rolls. There were plenty to choose from and all looked equally fantastic. My friend and I had trouble picking what we wanted, but settled on two rolls to share. We got the Irish Coffee and Cream Roll and the Blueberry Pie Roll. We were able to get a little table to sit down inside and enjoy our food. The rolls are big, a nice portion! Two rolls for two people was plenty. We enjoyed both rolls, but I believe blueberry was our favorite over the Irish. Irish roll had Irish creme frosting, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and coffee dust. The Blueberry Pie has cream cheese frosting, pie crumbles, and blueberries. It was a bit lighter than the Irish. Both so tasty! I now longer live in Illinois and there are no Cinnaholics in Wisconsin unfortunately! I still get rolls when I'm in town though. Cute place to get fancy cinnamon rolls. The icing is a thick icing and you can add any topping you want. You can also get different flavors of icing, which is great. I opted for the traditional cinnamon roll, as a test. The bun was doughy and soft. They put on plenty of icing. I took them home with me and it held perfectly. I put one on the fridge for later and when I reheated, it tastes as fresh as it did when I bought it. I do wish that there was more ooey gooey to the roll, but I love everything over flavored. The staff was friendly and fun. The energy was great and I enjoyed the experience at Cinnaholic. There isn't much room to sit and eat, which I like to do. There was a long line, they just opened. A pleasant surprise was that this was on Shark Tank (it said so on the box). It's my favorite show and I love entrepreneurs making it! I'm going to go back and try the funky flavors. It does cost about $5 per roll. The more you addd, the costlier it can become. However, if it tastes as fantastic as it looks (which the original did so far), then I'll have no problem paying it. They also passed out hand warmers and had free cups of coffee. Interior: When we finally made it inside, we realized the place is tiny. It's next to a cellular store and tucked into the corner of this strip mall area. There is some seating near the wall and into the back but the back area is already by the kitchen and bathrooms. Besides the lack of seating, it looks pretty nice inside. Service: Think "Filipino Party". If you haven't been to one but was at the opening day, now you have. The ladies were working hard to keep everyone hyped up and later passed out cookie dough samples. Questions were answered when ordering and the team was never without a smile. Food: These vegan buns were big, yummy, and unique. BUT being not vegan, I can tell that they're lacking the sweetness and flavor I've come to love with other cinnamon buns. I am definitely coming back to try their other flavors...my favorite so far has been the coffee one. Small space. They have 3 small tables if you wanted to eat in but I would take it too go since it gets pretty tight. Since the line was long but definitely goes fast. I came on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm. Anytime you tip, they will say thank you and ask if they can ring the bell or ask the child of the party if they want to. I got the saxon: this came with strawberry caramel graham crackers vanilla cream and of course the cinnamon roll. First bite of the toppings reminded me of the strawberry shortcake ice cream. I'm just not feeling it. Stopped in and picked up 3 cinnamon rolls- ube, Cookie Monster, and s'mores. Also brought home some day old plain rolls. We live about 30 mins away so by the time we got home, the frosting on the 3 rolls had melted and made the overall presentation look very sloppy and messy. As for taste, my son enjoyed his s'mores one. He enjoyed it so much that as soon as he was finished with it, he asked if we could go back and pick another one up. The ube one had a very subtle taste to it. The only taste that truly stood out was the coconut. As for the Cookie Monster one, my pastry loving child wasn't in to it. He complained it was too sweet for him. The day old rolls were hard, but once you warmed them up they got soft again. Overall it just felt like it was lacking in flavor- even though I topped them off with a home made cream cheese frosting. I personally was just not impressed. And for close to $7/roll- it just isn't worth it to me. I rather go and support a local bakery and pick up a regular cinnamon roll for $4.25 and know it's going to be amazingly delicious read more

The person helping me was not at all helpful with pricing and lied by telling me that it is a price cut if I were to purchase a box of 6 or 12. Two of the specialty rolls were not what I ordered. The frosting on all of them was runny and separating. The flavored icings were heavy with the extract and the maple icing was completely inevitable -- it tasted like pure extract. I had to throw all of them away and it was not a cheap purchase. The entire table was literally spitting out their cinnamon rolls. I called the store today and asked for the manager. The person who answered the phone said they were not in and when I asked when they would be, he said that they did not know. I then asked how I can get a hold of management and he gave me a number that was supposedly on her card. I called the number, left a message and have not yet heard back. This is a cute dessert shop located across the street from Woodfield Mall. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Everything is vegan, which is great for me. I have family members who are vegan, so it's nice to be able to eat the same dessert together! Everyone was friendly and helped me pick bestsellers as well as come up with my own rolls. The premade creations are very nicely put together, although they could use some extra frosting. They charge for small cups of frosting, I got four of them to be able to try new flavors. They currently have their fall menu out, and I was pleasantly surprised that they have a pizza roll. I mean who doesn't love pizza?! The marinara sauce and cheese on a roll was amazing. It was the perfect amount of sweetness along with toasted coconut adds a lil crunch. BUT I just feel like the ube frosting does not compliment the cinnamon in the roll. The base roll is $5, frosting is .25 and each topping is .50. They also serve scoops of cookie dough with toppings as well. They have brownies, cookies, coffee and cakes. They cater as well. They will wrap your cinnamon roll and put the toppings separate if you want to eat it later or the next day. I'll be back for sure!!
