Banana Bread Roll and Nutcracker Roll

I've had Cinnaholic back in California but this was the first time I had it here in Omaha. I ordered their seasonal rolls and they were pretty good! Service was quick and ambiance was typical of a Cinnaholic store.

This place is amazing!! I buy stuff for customers all the time and have never had a complaint, only thing they ever say is where is this place? The people that rate this place low because their frosting melted, I want to just say duh!!! They are serving these hot..... come on people. Brownies to die for!!! Caramel apple roll is perfection on a plate....... Can't believe these are made without eggs, butter or milk!!! Mind blowing. All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you Susan for bringing joy to my tastebuds and all my customers. Thank you for all your hard work. We love this place.

Shake, rattle, roll and a customized one with creme brûlée frosting, strawberries, and blueberries

The cinnamon rolls were pretty standard, didn't blow me away. The employees were nice, high schoolers. I ordered one of their specialty cinnamon rolls (shake, rattle and roll) and they didn't tell me/ask me that they ran out of the peanut butter cups and substituted it for chocolate chips. However, I heard them ask the patron in front of me with the same order if that substitution was okay. I was not informed about the substitution and only realized once I got home. The peanut butter cups are a "premium" topping and chocolate chips are not. Kinda of pricey for the size of cinnamon rolls.

We've been here a handful of times since they've opened, and I've yet to be disappointed. Everything is vegan, which means it's also allergy-friendly. Everything I have ordered has been delicious and the employees are helpful and polite. The prices also seem fair and they have a rewards program. The only thing I would change is I would recommend replacing the self-service water table with two small tables w/chairs. I'm also curious if the drive-through will ever be operational. That would be super helpful in the winter months for picking up online orders.

DP ordered Lemon Berry Pancakes, a plate-filing short stack of goodness. I'd like to say it tasted as good as it looked, but I couldn't tell as DP chowed down like a hound from hell. In a good way, of course. She did allow me to share her Maple Braised Bacon (meaning that I was able to snatch a piece while she wasn't looking). Really, really fine, something I'd definitely order again. For me. Not to share. I had the Schnitzel Bennie with tart cherry jam and lemon hollandaise. Sound unusual? Tasted great! My only gripe was that the pork cutlet was a bit small and could have used a bit more seasoning in the breading. Would I order it again? You betcha! Service was fast and efficient. The decor was quirky and inviting but the space was loud enough that it was really hard to carry a conversation. Overall rating: yahoo!

The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare and the truffle fries had a nice texture with a little sauce on top. The risotto was nice and creamy. The Argentinian steak was tender and not too heavy. The fish sandwich was gigantic. The Brussels sprouts were soft and crispy with no bitterness. There was not one dish that was not satisfactory. The only thing I wish they did was maybe do something extra special for my birthday... like maybe a birthday dessert or something! However, service was fine. The waiter had to ask 3 times what we wanted because he didn't write it down or anything but that's ok. Not a big deal.

One in our party ordered the seafood risotto and wasn't too happy with it. The patio looked inviting. Would be nice to sit outside for some apps. I'd give them another try for sure and order something else. The restaurant was very large and didn't seem over loud with all of the people there.

The restaurant was quickly filled by trivia contestants. We sat at a table, to see the folks giving out questions. The booths make viewing difficult. Next time we'll try a booth, as they look more comfortable. Service started out sparse. That poor woman was already slim, and the volume of people, with just one waitress, guaranteed she'd be slimmer by end of night. They got it together and provided some help for her for serving. The staff was good, friendly and enjoyable. I expect that someone was missing that day, as it seemed unusual for the lone waitress. She was even kind enough to apologize to us and ask for patience. That was something I appreciated. The did give us everything we ordered and it was all good, both food and drinks. Not too memorable, but good. The location has immensely high ceilings with movie posters on them. A giant fan keeps the air moving. It was a good and useful appearance. One I appreciated. Parking was easy. Being attached to Alamo Drafthouse, one could find that difficult, but fortunately. The lot is huge, facing north and wrapping around the east side. Trivia was fun. While we didn't do as well as the rest of the mob, we had fun! That, diligent service, reasonable eats and drinks, and easy parking made it an event we will likely attend again. Bonus that one can visit this before or after a movie without leaving the building. I recommend it.
