Fresh warm Old fashion cinnamon roll w frosting
    Ali M.

I am a huge fan of cinnamon rolls and they have to be just right! This place is a one a kind, you can customize your toppings, frosting, and even size. I went for the old fashioned and was not disappointed at all! As a matter of fact bf had to get himself one because I wouldn't share mine, lol. I love that you can try samples of the brownies or cookies too! The fact that they are cholesterol free, vegan friendly and more healthier option is even better! Nothing beats a fresh warm cinnamon roll! If you like cinnamon rolls, the big kind I definitely suggest you try this place out! Service was great, Shelby was so friendly and happy to serve us. It's so peaceful and inviting when you walk in. We will definitely be back.

I placed an order for banana bites (which was not labeled to have chocolate as an ingredient... I'm allergic) upon eating the bites I could taste the chocolate and immediately administered my epi pen... when I called the establishment to inform them of this I was told that I would have to pay for a new order without the chocolate or receive a refund.. once I arrived they declined my refund and made me pay for an additional order of a different item with the same amount ... & to add insult to injury my replacement order was STILL WRONG! Do better cinnaholic. This is so unacceptable. Will not be returning. If the manager didn't contact me, i probably would have not have gotten a refund for the messed up item.

I definitely have a sweet tooth so I was excited to try this place. There was a lot of seating and is overall an open and spacious location. The night we visited was a little busy, they told us we had a 10 minute wait which we didn't mind at all. Overall friendly service. I got the butterfinger cinnamon roll. It was fresh and so warm. A delicious sweet treat. I would have never guessed this was vegan! Such a great plus. Looking forward to trying more.

We were tempted into stopping here on our walk back to our car last night. The building was well lit and clean (other than the overflowing trash container by the front door) and the smells were amazing! We were stuffed from our dinner, but I had to try something, so had a single scoop of cookie dough. It tasted great but was definitely a heavy sugar burst just before bedtime. If you like sweets as much as I do, you will definitely enjoy a stop here. Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Value: 3 Service: 4 If you found this review helpful, please click to show your support. My friends in the Chicago area always raved about this place, so I was so excited when a location opened in Des Moines. I love cinnamon rolls and couldn't wait to try these! The cinnamon rolls are pretty amazing. They are soft and gooey! There are plenty of fun flavors to appeal to the whole family. The service is super friendly too. They are pretty pricey, which is to be expected for a place like this. I think they are best when eaten fresh, but they are still pretty tasty warmed the next day. It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

Perfect if you're looking for a quick and delicious snack! I haven't had a roll I didn't like. If you don't like something too rich/sweet go with the old school roll or the pizza rolls are awesome!! I love that it's all vegan. Great staff that works really hard, especially Marsha and Jacob! They're fantastic. Definitely recommend!!

Vegan cinnamon rolls?! Wow I didn't know what to expect. It was good. Ordered the old skool and the Carmel apple. Total came to $14.xx after gratuity. Mr W was shocked that it was vegan and delicious. The icing was interesting to me. It kind of had a watery marshmallow fluff texture. It tasted good though. Fun business concept of customizing the cinnamon rolls. So many toppings to choose from. Service was great. Could tell it was busy prior to our visit. The trash was overflowing. A handful of small table seating, bar height window seating, and a purple couch in the back. Visited on a Wednesday night at 6:00pm. There was a very short line walking in; with one couple in front of us. Wait time was 15 minutes. Seating was all taken. By the time we received our rolls we were able to get a seat. Dining in, we sat there for 20 min to enjoy our goods. Overall, it was tasty and I would try again. Great treat to hit a sweet tooth. And it's VEGAN! I would never wait longer than 15 min for a cinnamon roll though.

This place cannot be missed. I travel to Des Moines occasionally and always stop here at least once or twice. I buy extra to take home. The cinnamon rolls are so good. The toppings are fun and delicious. I love the hot chocolate. Fun hip location. Vibe inside is great with seating available. parking is paid street parking which can be a pain if it's a busy time of day

I was driving to meet a friend and I came across this location. It read Cinnaholic and I had to try it. There is meter parking in front of the building and all the way around the block. But in all honesty, this place is worth walking in 100 degree heat. When you walk in, you can see that it is clean and it is well lit which helps with the presentation and to determine what you want to order. They have a display with possible options to order from or you can just order the plain Old Skool (which is what I ordered). I placed my order and I told the young lady that it was it was my first time and she took the time to go over the menu. They have something for anyone. In this place you can have your cinnamon roll and eat it too. Clearly! They have from soft serve, cookie cake, brownies and you can even order a Cinnacake! Yes, you read that correctly, a cake made from cinnamon rolls! I asked, which cinnamon roll is the most popular and is the Cookie Monster (cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce) talk about a taste of heaven! This place is a gem from their product to the staff and I will definitely be back to try the Cookie Monster! Next birthday party that I go, I am going to order the Cinnacake. Ta Ta!

We went to this place today... it was fun to pick your topping down to the glaze. You can also watch how they make them... we had a roll with banana cream, bananas and banana bread. It wasn't very banana flavored but the taste you get is a fake flavor. The other roll was a chocolate glaze, pecans and brownie bites. The line wasn't too long and the wait wasn't terrible either. Wish the roll was more warm. Super cute idea and who doesn't love a build your own Cinnamon Roll?

OMG! What a treat this place is! I am so glad I walked passed this establishment! Like, unbelievably great treats. I had the cookie dough with cookies and cream on top! Talk about a sugary delight explosion on my tongue! I didn't have what was pictured but OMG I NEED IT

Last night was our opportunity and boy was it ever a memorable experience! Their website speaks of it being a colorful decor - and that is true both inside and out (see pictures)! We were warmly greeted and promptly seated - and asked if he could take our picture under the billowing, colorful ceiling (see picture). We started with a a round of drinks - my wife ordered the Ishtar's Revenge (see picture) and I went with the Yazmina (see picture). All of the cocktails are quite unique and we enjoyed both of these. As we started talking with our server, MJ - he looked familiar and his story sounded familiar. We asked and he confirmed that he used to own Gazali's in Clive, IA - a restaurant closer to our home that we enjoyed several times. MJ recommended the the Vegetarian Sampler Plate (see picture) for an appetizer and we loved it - offering the opportunity to sample several different Lebanese menu items on one plate. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Shawarma Chicken Pita Wrap (see picture) and I opted for the Combo Rice Plate (see picture), done spicy per MJ's suggestion. As we always do, we shared tastes of each of our dishes and loved them both! Lastly, the Jalab (rose and date infused water - see picture) caught my eye - so I ordered one of those to enjoy with my meal. Again, it is highly recommended! What visit to a Lebanese restaurant would be complete without Baklava (see picture), which MJ recommended that we enjoy with Turkish Coffees (see picture and video of pouring). We even got an education on how best to each the Baklava - pick it up with your fingers, take a bite, then keep that bite in your mouth while you take a sip of the Turkish Coffee - then enjoy! While it is hard not to enjoy Bakalava, it was even better when paired with the Turkish Coffee. If you found this review helpful, please Share, Follow & Like.
