The sign is enticing, as it always has a different flavor (or two) of soft serve each week. Last week I had the Pumpkin Pie & Lemon Custard swirled together, and it was insane. It reminded me a lot of Egg Nog, in a great way. They had a Cappuccino flavor that I really regret not trying a couple of weeks ago. I 'm going to pass by again today and needless to say, I'll probably stop and get a cone even if it's 40 degrees out. P.S. They also have tons of delicious-sounding Hershey's hard ice cream flavors, and the prices are reasonable. I got a small soft serve twist cone (which was a reasonable size - not Lilliputian and not gargantuan) for about $2.50. Totally normal prices, and the employees are friendly.

I had a perfectly fine ice cream cone, and decided to see if you made a good sundae. The gyro and the sundae were disappointing. But coming back after a bad experience and trying two things I hadn't tried----How is that confusing? I stayed onsite because the creek is beautiful, and I was visiting with family. Also not confusing. You did not "allow me to leave with the order". You ran the payment twice, delivered my order, and then interrupted our meal twice to try to resolve your card reader issue. I showed you the charges on my Apple Cash App, and you still demanded that I tap my payment a third time. You approached while talking to someone on speakerphone, and handed me the receiver saying, "I have the rep from our card reader on the line. You can talk to him." You never once asked how we liked anything, until you recognized my name, while attempting to capture payment for the FOURTH time. Only then, after you demanded to know whether I was "the same Sierra" who left a negative review, did you ask about my experience. Not to improve it but, just as you did in this reply, as an accusation: "Why'd you come back if I you didn't like it?" There was no time at all spent "trying to address MY concerns." The sole aim of your interaction was to secure payment. Why didn't I "request a refund or replacement?" Really? I told you what was unsatisfactory, and stood by my earlier review. You dismissed my complaint and invoked my responsibility to "support small businesses", while still demanding that I give you cash (which is, in fact, an untraceable payment method), and running my card repeatedly, right in front of several "NO REFUNDS" signs. All three food items I've tried have been very poor--why would I request more? You were not denied the opportunity to make things right. You simply refused to make any attempt to do so. I really think your response does a better job of making my point than I can.

I have to say, this was the best donut I have ever had. Ever. I would drive back "upstate" just for these donuts! Not only are the donuts delicious, and fresh, the man that helped me was so nice. The service here friendly and welcoming. Asked me if I've ever been there and I explained I was visiting from LI and we had a chat about that. I cannot wait to go back. So many different flavors to try. I'm a little sad I gave most of donuts to family members, that I didn't have more to enjoy myself!

The owner was working and is a great guy. Very personable! I ordered 4 doughnuts. I wish I ordered a dozen! 1 Glazed, 2 chocolate covered, 1 jelly I was able to save them until I got to place I was visiting. I was able to take a picture of the chocolate covered, which I enjoyed! The doughuts are old-fashion! Like the 60's and 70's when so many doughnut shoppes made them in-house and you could smell them from miles away. Those days are over so when you come across a throwback, it is important to stop and taste them! 5 stars from me! The doughnuts were awesome! I had a "farm fresh" chocolate milk, as well. They didn't have a box for my cake so she had to use a large Amazon style cardboard box, jaggedly cut, with copious amount of tape, holding it together. Their design printer doesn't work properly, and the picture on the cake was missing red (anger from inside out was yellow). I knew this ahead of time, but chose to do it anyway. The cupcake's icing was disgusting, and the flavor was probably from the food dye; almost a chemical taste. There's no way there was sugar in them. The vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were cooked properly, but the red velvet was overcooked and dry. It's less than what you pay at the grocery store for a slice and way better. Not as good as Cheesecake Factory but it's also not $15. The cheesecake is a little dense. Good but a little dense. Key thing is to let it sit out for at least 30 minutes before eating it. Avoid the brownies. Sure they try to entice you by putting attractive flavors in them but no. You know those little Debbie cosmic brownies. Take two of those and put a flavoring in the middle and that's what you got. Our second try we got some of the cake "slices". Again some good some stay away from. The lemon one was good. Nice light fluffy cake with good lemon flavoring. Just not sure about the fancy frosting on top. It's not really frosting. It's like whipped cream and frosting combined. Not bad just different and a little weird. Avoid the carrot cake. It's not carrot cake. Has no carrot cake flavor. They use cream cheese frosting in the middle which is good but then they put the weird frosting they do on top and it just doesn't work. The cookies were meh. Don't get the big ones those were not good and the regular size were meh.

The tea was extremely sweet, I would have enjoyed it more had it been less sweet. We took home some other items. The pistachio croissant was not only beautiful, but excellent. The chocolate dulce de leche loaf was also so pretty and decadent and delicious. Mister Croissant is a place you'd expect to find in NYC, but the people of Middletown are lucky to have it.
