It has existed for such a long time as being the only cinema, until the multi screen was built, and therefore offers a comparable limited choice of films on its 2 screens. I believe this cinema serves as a memory of old time theatres for adults to go back to as they can relive their childhood. The cinema is located just off the town centre - there is parking in the street outside, but other than that the nearest car parking would be on Angel Hill (time limited) or one of the other car parks. The cinema is open daily, is competitively priced, and definitely well worth a visit. Hopefully this cinema will not fall to the recession and will stay open for many years to come (although it has struggled in the past due to the multi screen cinema competition).

A popcorn and slushie was £12 which was quite ridiculous given that you can get that for under £3 at a supermarket. I will say that the slushie was quite good but the popcorn was flavorless. But then again, its Europe and people are a little bit more health conscious with how much sugar and salt food items have. - I don't think they care very much if you bring your own food into the theater. Only thing is that they don't have utensils, so just be a bit mindful of that. - While the end credits are rolling, the theater doesn't turn its lights on. Overall, great experience at Vue even though the food is super expensive. Next time, I will just bring my own into the theater.

I suppose that's how they manage to charge more for different seats. Beware: if you choose the cheapest seats, you may not be able to squeeze your legs in! Upon discovering the terrible seats most of us chose, many people moved themselves to better seating resulting in the first 20 minutes of the movie being filled with arguing from late comers finding their assigned seats filled.
