Finally booking my tickets I had to proceed to the payment it it went round and round for over five minutes timed out I canceled it. It said I may have been charged for the tickets! I decided I would see if I could book over the phone. They said yes, but I would be charged for a phone call. I said fine and booked over the phone.

The toilets- never enough for the ladies in the interval rush but they are clean and looked after The seats- quite confortable but rather old fashioned cinema feel with a teeny rake because of the tradtional layout design inside so if you're small sit near the front. All in all if there was something you wanted to see that came up here go for it!

You will see many historic items on display recovered during restorations and the orriginal (reconstructed) pit in the atmospheris cellar. There is an unusually broad programme of arts events and reasonable prices and consessions with tickets easily booked on line. The theatre is also used as a cinema.
