Pretty neat. There's a separate VIP lounge to access the VIP theaters. Hot tip - during Covid, the lounge is considered a bar and restaurant so it's not subject to the prohibition to serving food in the theater as it is a separate space - but that doesn't mean you can grab popcorn and take to your seat. Even just walking through the space it feels high class - not the same theater going experience from high school. The cinema itself is nice and clean. I felt really safe, particularly in the fact that hardly anybody was there, but the seats did feel well cleaned and well maintained overall.

This is not my usual theatre but it was an enjoyable experience. I came for a free screening so did not get a chance to try out their VIP option. I personally think VIP is the way to go whenever I go out for a movie night aside from IMAX. Located right at Eglinton Subway Station so is easily accessible if you are taking TTC. For driver to avoid the cost of parking, you might need to park quite far away.

The screen in auditorium 3 has a wear and tear mark in the centre that can be distracting.

I really enjoy the VIP seats here at this location because they let you automatically recline almost all the way. The seats are really comfy and are still in great condition after many many visits from many different posteriors over their lifetime. Far superior than the VIP offerings at the Yonge-Dundas location in my opinion. That theatre is closer to me but I prefer coming up to this location for the VIP seats. Now even though the seats are in great condition, I can't really say that for the cinema screen in the VIP auditorium 3. There is a very visible wear and tear patch right in the centre of the screen that you see during bright scenes of a movie. It kinda made watching Rise of Skywalker a little distracting because you just see this "stain" all the time. It wasn't a deal-breaker but I definitely took away from the experience a little. Once you see it, you can't unseen it. The staff are really attentive to getting your order before the movie starts if you come in with at least 15 minutes before showtime. I'm still gonna come back here for future movie experiences but hoping they replace the screen to make the best experience possible.

Serendipity led us to the Cineplex VIP Lounge for its inaugural Board Game night! Every single game was brand new and factory-sealed, including classics like chess, Battleship and Yahtzee. We ended up playing Blokus (an award-winning abstract strategy game) while munching on coconut shrimp and pierogis. Oh, and I happily got brain freeze, sipping on frozen Coconut Margaritas. Besides the main event (games not movies), tasty apps & array of (alcoholic) libations on offer, the views were simply stunning and the staff, incredibly fun! And accommodating -- the manager is open to buying your favourite board game if they don't have it. Move over, Snakes & Lattés. We've found our new favourite, no-cover-charge board game spot.

I like the look and feel of this place. I am not into the modern theatres that are trying to be cities for monetary extraction. This is a great theatre for my needs. Close to subway. Close to home. Parking all around. Candy Mountain across the street. If you have time to kill there is an Indigo Bookstore attached which always is a great way to spend a few minutes browsing. They have enough screens that the choices of movies is first run and generally good. We usually go after the rush of new releases has died down to avoid the lines others have mentioned. Lots of self service terminals if the line for the cash is long. I suppose my only real complaint is the concession stand seems to always be understaffed. So if you have popcorn coupons... which we often do! Expect to wait a bit. Thankfully the 15 minutes of adds and trailers gives you ample time. pet peeve: paying for the movie and being forced to see adds!

Come here for popcorn on the second level!

We had planned to watch Fantastic Four during the last show and booked two special-needs seats online. Parking downtown already costs more than the tickets for two, but we were looking forward to a relaxing evening. About twenty minutes into the film, a staff member approached us to explain that one of the "seats" we had booked was not actually a chair at all, but the space reserved for a wheelchair. This crucial detail was never made clear on the booking site. Unlike other accessible venues--such as the TTC or most theatres--that allow guests to choose between using their own wheelchair or a provided seat, this cinema offered no alternative except an awkward mid-show refund. The situation was uncomfortable and completely ruined our night out. Although the management responded publicly on Google in a caring and professional tone, two follow-up emails since then have gone unanswered. I hope Imagine Cinemas takes accessibility concerns seriously and improves both its booking transparency and customer follow-up.

It reminds me of the time my dad took me to see the first Indiana Jones movie when I was a kid. I went to see Capitalism: A Love Story (highly recommend BTW). A very cute older gentleman was working the counter where you buy your tickets. Unfortunately, I did have to run out to the bank machine as I had no cashish on me, and it is CASH ONLY at this theatre. 1 adult ticket is $10. They have a small concession stand (I didn't check it out - but the popcorn smelled great!). When you walk into the building the ticket gentleman is on your left and just a few feet beyond him is the concession stand. I thought it was kind of funny that the women's washroom was on the main level, but the men have to go downstairs. Huh. As I was sitting waiting for the movie to start (as I was a bit late, my wait was only 1 minute), I really saw how much has changed in the movie theatre architecture and interior design. There is no gradual grade changes for the flooring, it is just a slight raise from the front to rear seats. The seats do not recline and are shorter in height. The wallpaper is the same as the stuff my grandma had in the 70's and 80's. Heavy with a velour raised pattern. Grandma's was green, this stuff was red. The place does have a bit of a musty smell to it, but you get used to it within the first 5 minutes. The other thing that is really noticeable about this place - no commercials and no previews. You came to see movie X - you only see movie X. Also when the movie starts, they have it down perfectly with how the lights dim...a small detail, but very cool! All in all, if you are in the neighbourhood and don't want to go to a crowded, noisy theatre, check this place out. If you want to stick with an older theatre that has a bit more charm (and commercials), go to the Fox.

The whole day I was looking forward to going to the movie, but more specifically, to get their classic poutine to eat while watching the movie. I got to the theatre and the ticket scanning was pretty quick and smooth (I ordered my ticket online), and considering there was a line of about 4 people in front of me. I headed toward the washroom and it was pretty clean, there was also a cleaning staff member at here at the time. I headed to the concession counter and there were long lines here. I couldn't see the poutine list on the menu screen on the overhead but it's a VIP theatre so they must have poutine available. After a few minutes of waiting in line, it was my turn to order. I asked if I could order a poutine. The lady at the counter said I have to go around to the vip bar/food section to the left of us. That was kind of annoying, after waiting in this line. So I went to the correct area and ordered. They said it would take about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It was ready in about 8. That was good. The poutine came in a large flat white takeout box. Typically at the other cineplex's I've been to, the poutine came in a smaller more compact brown takeout box. The one I received today felt very obnoxious when I opened it in the theatre and was eating it while the movie was playing. The lid was just so big and it stuck out. As for how the poutine was, the fires were good with a fair amount of cheese curds. However, the gravy was really thick and there was way too much of it. Because it was a big flat box they only put in a layer of fries so to me it seemed they over did it on the gravy because there was so much space in the box. Mind you, the box wasn't full (it would probably amount to the aforementioned small brown box at other locations). Ultimately, the gravy ruined it because I was getting globs of thick gravy. And it was different to scrap of or avoid it because I was in the dark. To conclude, if you're looking forward to a poutine to eat while at the movies, go to the scotiabank location.

Otherwise, there were spots along the many main and surrounding streets, some nearby structures, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Generally speaking, this was your standard multiplex theatre filled with cushy cup holding reclining seats, very good sound system, and auditorium seating so no one blocked your view. Everything ran smoothly enough, there weren't any real hassles, the concession prices were standard with a more broad list of things to eat while the ticket prices were elevated as was the norm for a film festival. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $51.50CAD BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
