Wow! What a nice theater! A huge fountain when you walk in the door. Everything has been refurbished! The theatre seats are large and cushy! They are very comfy! The snack bar attendants are very friendly. There is always a great selection of movies. The bathrooms are clean and nice. They don't accept a credit card or debit card but there is an ATM machine right inside the door. The only thing I wish is that they would leave the popcorn in the machine until ready to bag, and not have it already bagged and sitting out; sometimes it seems to be stale. (We have taken it back and have gotten a fresh bag). This movie theatre is a hidden gem. read more

My husband and I went to see a movie here recently during my birthday. I like that the location is close to my home of residence. I especially liked the recliners in the theater. Theaters are usually a little cold so I took a light blanket. The service was friendly. The restrooms were clean. The only thing in my opinion was the popcorn was not hot. Just to let you know customers don't prefer cold popcorn or popcorn that is sitting for convenience. As a customer, I would not mind waiting for my hot, freshly popped popcorn. My husband & I saw a movie here this afternoon for the first time . The bathrooms were not good. Dirty and filthy toilets . Floors has smudges of who knows what. I have been in cleaner roadside bathrooms before then this place. The outside was not inviting and the lobby was not clean and well kept. The actual theatre was fine. We haven't been to this theater in a couple of years. They didnt keep it cool in the summer or warm in the winter. Apparently everything has changed, thank goodness!!!! We went this afternoon and although it was 97 outside, inside the theatre it was ice cold! Thank you!! I've allways wanted to support this local business, now I can. They renovated the place during the Covid downtime and it is SO much better now. Wide isles with large leather, comfortable, reclining seats that have power buttons and cup holders. You wont have to get up if someone wants to get past you to go for popcorn either. Plenty of room for them to get by, even if you are fully reclined. New sound system that is very impressive. This theater now is as nice and comfortable as anything in Memphis, including the Paradiso! So if you bailed on the old Cineplanet 16, I highly recommend you try them again. IDK why the owner decided to start keeping the temps comfortable inside but I sure am glad he did. Now we dont have to risk our lives going to Memphis to see a movie! Employees are friendly and nice as always. Concession stand is high priced but who's isn't? Oh you can pay with a credit or debit card now if you want. I only want to suggest remodleing the bathrooms. The hand dryer barely puts out and there are no paper towels. We plan on seeing a movie at least once a month now if not more often. You better check the movie times online up until it's time to start. We checked online a movie time it said 8 pm. We called and confirmed the time. Drive 45 min here, went inside and they informed us that they decided to change the movie time to 7 because they were not busy. When I asked the owner to his face how we were supposed to know, he said I should have checked online because 99% of the time it is right. I said sir we checked online and called to confirm the time why would I have checked again? He said I understand but next time check but we are playing it tomorrow. I just kinda laughed and said that I wouldn't need to know that because even if we planned a time it is apparently subject to change. read more

Went there today with my pregnant wife and was extremely disappointed with our experience. Not only were we denied the ability to bring in water for my wife to drink, but we were forced to pay for the theater's water, which was already an inconvenience. However, that's not even the worst part. After we paid for the water, we were given lemonade instead. My wife needed water, not lemonade, and the theater staff did not seem to care. It's unacceptable to deny a pregnant woman access to water, especially when we were willing to bring our own. Furthermore, the theater's staff was incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. They did not listen to our concerns and seemed to dismiss us as inconveniences. I would not recommend this theater to anyone, especially not pregnant women or anyone who values basic human decency. It's a shame that such a simple request was not accommodated and the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. read more

My particular theater had the ceiling tiles falling down and hanging precariously over the customers seating area, our seats where filthy and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned from the last show. My snacks where stale, soda was flat, and ridiculously over priced for the tiny portions you receive. I will drive anywhere else as this was the worst movie experience in my life. Did you not see the huge cut in the movie screen or do you just not care? Either way, I won't be back. You should sell to someone that cares about their customers and local community. read more

My family and I went to see Sight tonight, during the movie my husband had a work call that he chose to take outside. Apparently the owner will lock the doors during the last movie and if you go outside he will not let anyone back in, even though the ticket is payed for and family is still inside. As in my husband took a ten minute call outside and was not let back in the building. When he asked for someone to come get us no one did until he was finally able to get another young man's attention that did so. My husband called the cops but they couldn't do anything because the facility is apparently privately owned. An establishment that has NO PUBLIC SERVICE. There was no sign notating that if you were to walk out the doors during a movie you payed for that you would not be permitted back in. They steal your money by having you pay for services that they do not provide, or in this case, allow you to finish. read more

If I could go less I would. They dont accept cards which I understand at a small theater who doesn't want to pay the cost of charges, however the prices are still high so they should be able to afford it, but here was my experience tonight. I go in the theater and its muggy, worse than being outside. The theater had to have been over 83 degrees because it was cooler outside than it was outside. After picking a seat, the seat is wet and floor sticky so it was obviously not cleaned. When the movie started they left the light on in the projector room which casts a light the entire movie. After 5 or 6 minutes I told the staff about the AC and the light and I really feel like they just turned the heat on and ignored the light. When I wanted to talk to the staff about complaints, they were no where to be found. The only good thing about this theater is that people have quit going because it's such a garbage theater and you can sit wherever you want. read more

This movie theater so different than any movie theater of ever been to in my entire life. The only two reasons that I gave it 2 stars is because the convenience of it being closer than Memphis theaters and the summer children's movie showings that are free. The prices/charges are strange and steep... They charge for butter on popcorn, Again.....THEY CHARGE FOR BUTTER TO BE PUT ON POPCORN! Unlike most movie theaters in this area when you purchase a large drink he get refills... This place does not do that. Also this place only excepts cash!! (ATM inside) Come on Cineplanet please join the rest of us in 2015! This place would probably be best described as that gray middle area that is between renting a Redbox movie or seeing a movie in a REAL movie theater. Lastly, the one thing I've noticed, especially over the past 1 or 2 years has been A lot of movies that are rated R or worse have a lot of 12-year-old moviegoers that have been dropped off by their parents. We went to this theater because it was the only one showing our movie at a convenient time. We'll just wait for another day, next time... As several people have already said-this theater only takes cash-but they have an ATM that you can use where they will happily take a steep fee from you. The staff is not friendly, they act like you're bothering them. The popcorn was stale, and they hide the salt shakers behind the cash registers. If you make it past the snack bar, the theaters are set up weird-the seats are nice, but the auditorium is super steep, so you feel really far away from the screen. Bottom line-unless you live close to this theater, there is no reason to go to it. read more

I've been here twice, and I have many of complaints. Let's start with the pros Pros: The movie theatre has good sound and good quality movies. Cons: *1 They only except cash only! CASH ONLY! To get in, to buy snacks, and everything else that requires payment as well. They need credit/debit card payment. *2 They charge extra for butter! Why would you EVER charge extra for butter. Butter for me and a lot of people is a necessity. I can't stand plain popcorn. When I make popcorn at home, I add half a stick. Pls fix this. Please! *3 They keep their bathrooms in the lobby with the concession stand. Unlike Malco, which has a bathroom in each hallways, you have to run along to the other bathroom, and miss more of your movie than you actually need to miss. Once again, get new bathrooms *4 I found a hair in my popcorn. A HAIR! A PERSON'S HAIR IN MY LARGE POPCORN. I GOT IT IN MY MOUTH BEFORE I REALIZED THE COOK FORGOT TO WEAR A HAIRNET! I can't record less than one star on here or else I would. Last night this company towed mar truck from their parking lot while I was in their theater spending money. There are no signs posted anywhere about towing or warnings and such. The lines appear to have faded so much that they are no longer effective. I've oersonally seen a broken down car in their parking lot that's been there over a week. It wasn't towed. I parked right beside someone in the packed lot (Avengers opening night). Since I couldn't see the parking space lines I assumed this was perfectly fine to do. I guess that person's movie ended and left and they targeted my truck for towing. Now I'm 180 dollars poorer because the movie theater decided to tow (steal) my personal property. I've since read up on this theater and I've seen posts about lice in the seats, mice in the building, and roaches in the popcorn. Once I found out they stole my car I tried to get them to explain why. They would send me the picture they said they took and would not tell me where my truck was. They did however call the cops on me for trying to find out where my truck was. Rest assured I will be filing a police report for wrongful towing and suing the company for the tow fees and damages for having to track down and pick up my truck at midnight. As I said there are no towing signs and there are pitifully inadequate lines that practically don't exist in the parking lot. This is not over. I will be filing a civil suit against you. I recommend no one visits this location. read more

This was the worst movie experience I have had in years. I paid 16.50 for a popcorn combo and nachos. That was not the problem tho. Then I ask for butter and it's another .25 cents. Here is why I choose to download this app and write my first review about a company. I paid full ticket price to see the movie I wanted to see but when I got in the theatre the sound was coming from the front speakers by the screen. (The theater I was in had surroundsound) I just thought it wasn't working so I went to tell an employee, and they informed me that in the smaller theater rooms they turn the surroundsound off. If I would have known that I would have never gone. You go to the movies for the big screen and the surroundsound. This theater is a rip off and I will not be going back. read more

This place once held a charm; small town theater with aims to expand and serve the community. Well, that was years and years ago and since 2015 this cinema has taken a headlong nosedive. The place is not sanitary, starting at concessions, then to the awful restrooms, the theaters look to have never seen a vacuum or a broom let alone a good dusting , the ceilings are missing tiles and the corners have enough dust and particulates to keep a CSI team busy for years. In other words, the place is nasty. I couldn't watch the movie for fear of the critters crawling or something disgusting falling on me. I felt so overwhelmed that I left, vowing NEVER to return. This place needs to close for many reasons. I do not recommend this place and I strongly advise to steer clear of the concession stand. read more

Don't go here. I went here a little while ago prior to it being shutdown and I never thought I could share my horrible experience with anyone until now. The people that work here are crooks, that's the bottom line. I went a long time ago with a friend of mine to see a movie here. Once we purchased the tickets and entered the theater, the movie began at the displayed time, not previews and this causes us to miss about 5 minutes. When we walked back outside and asked if we could possibly trade our tickets or have a refund, the young man behind the counter seemed almost angry to be serving us and said with the most disrespectful tone "I'll have to get a manager, but we never give refunds, especially if it's your fault" and this was was when I realized I didn't care about the refund or movie anymore and we left. Place is filled with what look like cockroaches and has a urine aroma throughout the theater. Vaping is a constant thing in this theater, I have asthma so I could not deal with other people vaping near me. Sound is terrible for a movie theater, might as well use an iPhone speaker. This is right off the free way and easy to find. This is located at a small town, but good because the closest one is about and hour drive. 3 stars because they do not take credit card but do have an ATM inside that you can use but you will have a fee like most ATM's. Not to busy on a Saturday night but that is good. The ticket price was a few cents from $10's. The insides was clean. The seats was clean and well kept. Not the worst theater in history, but it's trying. Still no credit cards. In 2014 you could at least get Square or something. No free refills on the expensive drinks, $1.50 for a refill. Then you get your DRY expensive popcorn. I asked for butter, that's .25. Really, $15 for two cokes and popcorn. No refills or butter. I have come to expect to pay too much at a movie, but this is the cake. Malco is suppose to be coming to Millington. This will be a $2 theater soon showing second run movies. read more

This is not near the freeway & the nearest theater is in Memphis only about 15-20 mins away. Trust me when I tell you to go to Memphis. Cash only policy is completely unprofessional & I went there on one visit that their ATM was down. Popcorn is almost always stale so don't even bother. It's convenient for people who live far out and don't want to drive into Memphis. They only take cash! One time I went the ATM was down. They told me to go to the ATM in the bank across the parking lot. It was down. I had to go to the gas station on the corner and was late for the show. Another time, it sounded like there was a blown speaker and there were high pitched noises all through the movie. Only bonus-It is not a very busy theater.
