I am also a filmmaker and I worked for Cinematt for 2-3 seasons. He's a fantastic wedding filmmaker and you really can't go wrong with him. I've recommended his services to friends and they've all been very pleased with his work. First and foremost he is a storyteller. He picks out the most poignant parts from your guest speeches and stitches them together to create the arc of your relationship. Before each job, I would meet him at his house early in the morning and he would tell me (with way too much excitement for 6am) what made the bride and groom special and why he was honored to capture their special day. I would also highly recommend asking for his input on your wedding plans and how to maximize your day. read more

MVideoM is who we used as our wedding videographer. The owner, Matthieu Meynier, is this awesome French dude who reallyl captured every moment in our wedding video. Occassionally, he'd talk to himself in French, which cracked me up. He sat in the limo with me and my bridesmaids on the way to taking photos and Kelly Clarkson was playing. He muttered with his French accent, "I hate Kelly Clarkson!" I told him to suck it up. His prices are reasonable, and we got an even better deal when another couple we knew booked at the same time. He's very professional, but has a young vibe. He really works with you to make sure you get what you want out of your video. He gave us our video back in a timely manner as well. I hear he's been getting more business so I don't know how booked he is nowadays. I'd highly recommend him. You'll get to know him and the way he works. Then after your wedding, you'll eventually run into him all over the city - playing soccer at GG Park, 24 Hour Fitness, everywhere! read more

I am not a big Yelper but I felt needed to let everyone know how awesome it was to work with Matthieu. Back Story: I needed to make a video for my girlfriend that I wanted to show her before I proposed to her. Issue: Never used a videographer, didn't know anyone that used one that maybe could have recommended one to me. So I was really relying on my gut feeling and fellow reviewers. Result: A video that was not only exactly what I was looking for but done professionally and with a level of detail that I was not expecting. During the whole process Matthieused several different methods to capture the moment that led to an overall better video than I expected. He was easy to work with and when I can time to figuring out exactly what I wanted to have the video look like and feel like, I merely told him a rough idea and gave him full artistic freedom to make the video. Giving him the freedom is it came out so well, half the ideas I had were not as creative as his own. I knew he would make a awesome video. Not kidding when I say the first version of the video he sent was the only version he knocked it out of the park the first go around. Pricing: Matthieu pricing was very fair. I told him I had a budget and he was willing to work with me to get the video done. Like anything else you get what you pay for. If you want something dirt cheap that will be the quality you get. But if you want something beautiful and professional and at a fair price you need to call Matthieu. If you are interested in seeing my video I am the one asking my girlfriends dad permission to marry his daughter. read more

Matthieu is a skilled professional in the wedding cinematography industry. He's been doing it for years and it flawlessly shows. I have worked alongside Matthieu as the hired photographer and can honestly say he is one of two of my favorite wedding cinematographers to work with. He is professional, considerate, and is a friend in the making. He does great work and his portfolio shows. I am always recommending him to all my brides when they ask for a great videographer in the San Francisco bay area. Acclamations à un travail de qualité! read more

I wasn't originally planning to hire a videographer for my wedding, but I found Matthieu on WeddingWire and I totally got sucked in by his amazing videos. I found myself getting emotional watching videos of total strangers. I loved the way he stitched together the ceremony and speeches to capture the emotion and meaning of the day. And when it came to my wedding video, he far exceeded my expectations. Apart from marrying my wonderful husband, choosing Matthieu was the best decision I made for my wedding! From the beginning, he was extremely communicative and enthusiastic. He clearly loves his work, and it shows in the attention he puts into every detail. He and his crew arrived early (hooray!!) and were a pleasure to have as a part of our wedding. The video itself is ridiculously amazing. I've watched it over and over with friends and family and never tire of watching it. It somehow manages to capture all the love and fun from the day in just a few minutes--even little moments I didn't think anyone else noticed. Also, the package that he sent with our video and our footage was extremely polished and professional. I would enthusiastically recommend Matthieu to anyone. If you weren't planning on a wedding video (like I was), watch a few of his videos -- I'm sure they'll change your mind! read more

I spent a year planning every detail of our wedding and thinking that we couldn't afford a videographer. Only a few months before the big day, my husband and I saw some beautiful wedding videos and decided that having our own film was a keepsake worth the splurge. After all, we had put so much time and energy into every detail and we didn't want to forget anything. CINEMATT was recommended in a group of wedding film makers that were in a reasonable price range without sacrificing any quality or experience. Booking with Matt was easy and his website system allowed us to sign contracts and pay bills without any trouble. He also had several questionnaires about our wedding size, style and feel that made me feel like he really cared about getting to know our event intimately. On the day of the wedding, Matt and his assistant were friendly and tactful. No one had to supervise them or tell them where to go. They worked collaboratively with our photographer. They were truly professional. Not only that, but many of our guests commented later that they hadn't even noticed the camera men at all. Most of all, my husband and I are completely in love with the finished product. Our film is a beautiful and artful mix of moments that really mattered to us. Its not just the typical stuff (i do, kiss, cake, dance 1, 2, & 3), there are intimate moments with our family and friends and details that completely define us. From capturing the exact lighting to picking the perfect music, our film completely captures the aura of our day and of our relationship. Our family and friends can't stop raving about how great it is. They all want a copy. We really couldn't be happier. We know our wedding film from CINEMATT will be a treasured keepsake to us forever. Its one of the best investments we've ever made. Feel free to check out our film! http://vimeo.com/14824221 read more

CineMatt (Matthieu) was the videographer/cinematographer for our wedding and we had a blast working with him! We interviewed several videographers and Matthieu stood out the most. Matthieu has done many international weddings, so he is familiar with different wedding customs - in our case, Chinese. This is such a refresher because he knows exactly what we are going through and able to accommodate and adjust. We were taking dancing lessons for our first dance, and it was gracious of Matthieu to come to the studio and film us practicing. The footages worked really well in the final video. We saw our video couple weeks ago, and everyone was amazed by it. Matthieu has a very unique shooting and cutting technique that makes your video look like a movie! Overall, we are very happy with his work and have recommended him to our friends. read more

As the Event Manager of French Tuesdays, San Francisco chapter, I have been delighted to work with Matthieu of MVideoM, who covered some special events for us (Hollyday Party, One-Year anniversary,Official launch of Moet & Chandon sponsorship, etc...) Not only this videographer shows an obvious sense of professionalism in his work, but he also has this touch of creativity that contributes dramatically to the greatness of the final work delivered. I can only highly recommend him... Bravo Monsieur! read more

My husband and I picked Matthieu to video our wedding last year after looking at a bunch of videographers online. In the end we chose Matthieu because of his style of weaving the speeches and ceremony audio over the video images, which makes for a much more interesting, intimate, and faithful documenting of the day. Having just received the finished product, my husband and I have spent the morning reliving our wedding in the fabulous detail captured through Matthieu's lenses. He got it all, totally nailed it. We love not only the 20 minute film, but also his faithful archiving of all the parts of the day that remain most memorable for us: the ceremony, the speeches, the dance floor, etc. We couldn't be happier with the job he did: not only the end result, which is spectacular, but also the professionalism that he and his crew brought on the day. We can't thank him enough. Wedding videos are notorious for being painful to watch unless you're the wedding couple. I can say hands down that Matthieu's work is the exception. Everyone we've shown the film to, without fail, has loved it. We would recommend Matthieu to anyone. read more

I have met many videographers and Matthieu from MVideoM is a notch above in my mind. I truly dig Matthieu's style, and his attitude is refreshing to say the least. Spend 10 minutes with him and you'll see he's just a genuinely nice guy who is also super gifted with his video camera. My wife and I absolutely adore the DVD he made for our own wedding! read more

I've worked with MvideoM at weddings for several years. The team of MvideoM produces cutting edge video in cinematic style. They are reliable, dependable and always a pleasure to work with. When it comes to the shooting style and editing, there is a difference between amateurs and professionals. The way MvideoM edited their videos was amazing! I could watch the videos over and over again and still get emotionally involved as if I were there at the weddings. Two thumbs up for MvideoM! read more

Matthieu is the most professional, polite and awesome videographer ever! His crew was amazing as well! Very professional and kind =) They have the most coolest gadgets to make their videos turn out great! I was a little worried when he told me he would have 3 assistants with him because I didn't want a bunch of cameras in our faces (We don't do well in front of cameras), but we barely noticed them throughout the day! Very ninja like ;) I knew having a videographer was a must for our wedding and after watching countless videos from videographers all over the bay area I stumbled upon cinematt.com. It must have been fate because as soon as I inquired about his services I realized he was my sister's videographer 10 years ago! Matthieu is really good with emails and phone calls. He responds to emails within an hour and he asked me many questions about the wedding which turned out to help me out a lot as well. He was really good at answering all my questions and concerns. He worked with my budget and gave me everything I wanted! Bonus points for that! =) Matthieu truly goes above and beyond! He showed up for our rehearsal which I had no idea he would and he gave GREAT tips and pointers considering we had NO idea what we were doing! He makes a great wedding coordinator too ;D My husband (so weird to say!) and I are the first ones to get married out of all our friends so we had no clue as to what happens during the ceremony and Matthieu helped us out on all aspects of this area! Considering a Chinese wedding would last about 12+ hours I was worried about the cost of having him around for a full day, but he understood completely and assured me that he and his crew would not leave without notice on the day of! We had them stick around for a little over 12 hours which we are truly grateful for! He created a Same Day Edit for us and we were able to view it on schedule and it was AMAZING! He locked himself in the bridal suite for a couple hours working on it and we are truly thankful for all the hard work he put into such a short, but wonderful SDE! He gave us the SDE that very night on a flash drive! You sure did surprise us, Matthieu!! He knows the lyrics to all of the songs! I know this because he rode in the limo with us and he would sing along to all of the songs the radio was playing! He is the most fun, friendly, professional videographer and I would recommend him to all my friends and family! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH CINEMATT! Our friends and family watched the SDE countless times!! We cannot wait to receive the short film! read more

Matthieu Meynier did our wedding video, it was beautiful. We love our video! Especially our parents love watching it over and over again. Matthieu did a professional job on editing our video, he capture all the special moment of our wedding. Our wedding video is better than we could have visualized. His price is reasonable too. Also many compliment on our photomontage that Matthieu worked on to show on our wedding reception. Our 500+ guests were amazed! We highly recommend Matthieu Meynier. Once again... Thank you so much Matthieu! The funny thing is now we would see Matthieu at our friends wedding! Everybody loves his work! read more

We had the good fortune of coming across Matthieu while looking for a videographer for our wedding. Actually, I had decided against hiring someone since all of the sample videos looked like bad 80's videos. Plus, it meant that there would be one additional person at our wedding following us around. So, I gave up. Then I came across Matthieu and he was a breath of fresh air! He really gets it. My husband and I were so blown away by our wedding dvd. Matthieu captured all of the amazing moments of our wedding day and seemed to be everywhere. However, we never noticed him during our wedding. He is incredibly professional, polite, and quietly goes about his business. Everyone that has seen our wedding video is incredibly impressed as well. I cannot imagine not having found him. We now have this incredible dvd that captured our vows and the ensuing party. We are forever grateful! read more

I've hired Matthieu to do two real estate videos One required extensive footage of a bouncing labradoodle. The other required directing a two-year old to do things like drive her toy car into the home's garage then crawl up the front steps to unlock the front door with her key. Matthieu's patience and willingness to do repeated takes until we got it "just right" was phenomenal. He was also a joy to work with on the editing process, switching around each sequence and perfectly matching the music until we got exactly what we wanted. His prices are more than fair for what you get, and it's a joy to work with someone who is completed dedicated to delivering a quality product with no shortcuts. read more

I contacted Cinematt via email several days ago regarding videography for my wedding. Still no response. Would definitely not go with someone who doesn't respond to me in a timely manner and I suggest you consider someone else for your videography needs as well. read more

My review for Matt is long overdue! Our wedding was in August of last year and Matt simply did an amazing job. At our first meeting with Matt, he brought his laptop, showed us all the different packages and options and talked about our venue, whether there's any cultural thing he needs to know and many little details that we didn't even think about at the time. He is a genuinely nice and easy going guy and we just felt that we click with him instantly. (He's also from France!) Unlike other videographers we've interviewed, Matt doesn't get pushy or pressure you to retain his services. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does and wants to know everything about your wedding to make your video special. Matt is also very responsive to emails. He does have a lot of weddings so he is a pretty busy guy. I know for some vendors, once you pay your deposit you don't hear from them unless you call and email 100 times before getting an answer. With Matt, he's always responsive and even though he's busy he always replies! After we signed the contract with Matt, he sent us couple questionnaires shortly before the wedding so that he can know the names of the wedding party, the parents/grandparents, any cultural things he should be aware of, rough timeline of the wedding etc. Everything was well planned so that on the wedding day, he doesn't need to come bug you about anything. On the day of the wedding, Matt and his assistance arrived at the church early and got set up quickly. Everything went smoothly and towards the end of the day, they even stayed longer than they needed just to make sure that everything's covered. We are just so happy that we have Matt as our videographer! We got our 5 min highlight few weeks ago and it was so beautifully edited!! Matt used one of our favorite songs as the theme for the video and I just can't believe a short 5 min clip could capture so much! I teared up a little watching the clip and so did my husband! I'm waiting to receive our full video in the mail and I can't wait! I would recommend to any of my friends to use Matt in a heartbeat. He's just awesome! read more

At first we weren't even thinking of hiring a videographer for our wedding, but my co-worker had recommended Matthieu, who had shot his wedding. We checked out my co-worker's wedding DVD, and at that point knew we needed to hire a videographer. And after meeting Matthieu, we were sold! Matthieu is super nice, kind, funny, and professional. He even let my bridesmaids borrow his jacket when we were outside taking photos in the freezing cold and wind! :P We actually just received the final edit of our wedding video, and we were absolutely amazed! Matthieu captured all of the moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. You can tell he spent a lot of time and care making our video because the quality of his work is impressive. We are so thrilled that Matthieu captured and shared our special day with us! Thanks again for everything, Matthieu! read more

This review is LONG overdue. I've been sitting at my computer trying to find the right words to describe our experience with Matthieu and the beautiful video he created for our wedding...there really are none. Perhaps perfection? He nailed it. We wanted him to capture our day, without any cliches or "cheesiness". What he created left both of us speechless. And every single family member and friend has had the same reaction. I have watched and rewatched the video so many times, and I can honestly say each time it gets better and better. THANK YOU MATTHIEU. Not only were you a delight to work with, but you gave us a gift we will cherish for the rest of our lives! read more

After 6 years, our wedding video still holds up beautifully. My wife and I made it a tradition to watch our video each year on our wedding anniversary. Matt did an amazing job capturing the day of our wedding, watching the video always brings us back to our wedding day in Lake Tahoe. We just watched our video over the weekend and wanted to give Matt a long overdue thank you for doing such a great job on our wedding video. We're glad you're still doing what you do best after all these years. read more

I don't think I can express in words how happy I am that Matthieu was there to help us capture our special day. The videos are beautifully done. All I have to say is that Matthieu Meynier (the owner of MVideoM) is AMAZING!!!!! He captured every little detail of my Feb 15th wedding. I only got the highlite video and the raw footage, but let me tell you this....Matthieu is unbelievable. My husband and I were both in tears watching the highlite. It was very touching. It reminded us of a music video. Matthieu is very professional and is very easy to work with. He is so energetic and full of life and is definitly unstoppable. He captured moments on film that I didn't even think happened. And he is by far the most creative person I have ever met. He listened to every little request that i had and always has a smile on his face. I'm so happy and lucky that I found Matthieu Meynier. read more

Boy this videographer must have lots of friends for him to get 5 stars except for one as the 1 star negative person would say, she must have been one of those Bridezillas that wanted her way or no way. On a positive note, Matthieu Meynier is by far the best videographer out there and you would be a foul not to hire him as your wedding videographer. His touch is priceless. With every shot he captured the most memorable scenes. What a great way to sum up the most special event in your life. I myself, did not even want a videographer, but a good friend said I have to have one to relive the moment. And what a moment it was when Matthieu got a hold of his video equipment. I am so glad I listened to my friend. I immediately thought of Matthieu because I have seen his work before and they are amazing. He ultimately captures your true moment. My husband & I saw the highlight of our video and I immediately started crying as I saw how everyone were enjoying their time and they were there to support us on our happy day! Matthieu's work is very moving. He's got a keen eye for perfection and what truly makes the moment special. I can't ask to have had a better videographer. The next time I hire Matthieu it will be for our first baby :-) He is a true friend with a big heart. He makes no reservations on what he can do. Now only if I can get him out to Hawaii to put his amazing work in paradise...BEAUTIFUL!! You are the best Matthieu. Thank you for a truly amazing day!! read more

Matthieu is extremely gifted at what he does. The videos that he has produced for us in Real Estate are impeccably done at the highest quality possible. His passion really shows in everything he creates and I wouldn't recommend anyone else, but Matthieu for videography. When we started planning our wedding, I initially didn't want a videographer. I had visions of a huge camera being in our and our guests faces all night, and it just didn't seem appealing. Our parents finally convinced us that we should have one - but at that point, I was slammed with all of the other planning and didn't feel like I could take on anything else. So, I delegated the responsibility of finding a videographer to my soon to be husband... and kept my expectations low :). After a couple weeks of research, he had narrowed it down to 3 options. We sat down to watch their sample vignettes, and CineMatt was first. Within a few minutes of watching the first one, I was astounded. I had no idea that this was what a wedding video could be like - I loved his incredibly unique style of interlacing the speeches in with the video - and weaving different moments of the day together vs. just a straight retelling of events. It was amazing - and with the music and images, had me choked up with emotion within just a few minutes. I couldn't believe this video could make me cry when I didn't even know the couple. My husband admitted that he had cried too (he never cries), and that CineMatt was by far his favorite. The others didn't even compare, and we called immediately to book him. From that moment on, the whole process was seamless. We set up an appointment with Matthieu for the next time we were going to be in Napa (we are from Chicago and had a destination wedding). As soon as we met him, we knew we had made the right choice - he was so friendly and excited about filming our day, and asked us lots of questions to get to know us and our style. The actual day was seamless too - what amazed me the most was that we barely even knew he was there! Matthieu and his assistant were so discreet - and yet managed to capture absolutely every moment. They even stayed later than they were contracted for because they said they were having so much fun! It does take some time for the video to arrive - but that's pretty standard - and it is absolutely, 100% worth the wait. Our video blew. us. away!!!! I've watched it about 50 times by now and I cry every single time. All of our friends and family have told us that it's the best wedding video they've ever seen (and they're not just saying that). He had even asked us if there were certain songs we wanted incorporated - but we left it totally up to him, and we couldn't have done a better job ourselves. Every song fits perfectly with it's respective section - and they are all artists we love. He did so many creative tricks with the camera - cool angles, lighting, etc. that make it that much more visually stunning. The whole thing just flows so well from start to finish. Mathieu ended up being our favorite wedding vendor by far, and it was the best money we spent. I'm so thankful we decided to have a videographer, and that we chose CineMatt! We can't thank Matthieu enough for creating such an amazing keepsake of our wedding day! read more

When I first started thinking about planning my wedding, a videographer was not at the top of my list. I had never seen a wedding video that I thought was really good, so it seemed to me like I could get more bang for my buck out of photography. Then, I saw a wedding video done by Cinematt. It happened to be my brother's wedding video. I have to admit, I thought they were spending too much money on just a "video." I was so wrong! It's not just a video, it is the best possible keepsake you could ask for! After seeing buy brother's video, I knew I had to have Matthieu at my wedding. Photos can only capture so much, and your wedding day is such a blur. You put so much time and effort into it and you can't possibly take it all in. Having a video gives you a chance to see everything you missed. The quality of Cinematt is unsurpassed. Matthieu is very professional and concerned with capturing the essence of the wedding and the things that are important to you as a couple. The other great thing is that Matthieu makes a 10 minute compilation video that covers the best moments of the wedding. It is perfect to show to friends and family. You also have the entire wedding so you can watch the speeches, first dance, entire ceremony, etc. I recommend Cinematt to everyone! My family will definitely use him again when my little brother is ready to get married. After my experience with Cinematt, I agree with my sister-in-law, the videographer should definitely be on the top of your list when it comes to your wedding planning, and I honestly don't think you'll find anyone better that Cinematt. read more

We highly recommend Cinematt for wedding videography. Matthieu was nothing but professional, calm, respectful and caring on our wedding day and he created a film for us that we will cherish in our family forever. One of the best decisions in all of our wedding planning was choosing a videographer and choosing Matthieu to film for us. One of the things we like the most about Matthieu's work is he captures the essence of the day with simplicity and quality without making the video an over the top production. The picture and sound quality is top notch and the flow of the video is perfect. We are forever grateful for the hard work and care he put into making our awesome video. read more

Every couple has one special thing they splurge on for their wedding. Whether it's the dress, decorations, food, or hours practicing for a dance routine, there has to be that one special thing. I told my husband-to-be and my friends I wanted an awesome wedding video. Some of them thought I was out of my mind. Although we attended many weddings, same-day edit videos were still new to us. What did it take? We spent five months on the project, travelled 5,500 miles, spent many hours scoping areas, four full days of filming, tried to look good in bone-chilling weather, protecting equipment from sporadic rain, and having the best editing team and wedding party. All the pre-filming did not even include the wedding day! Matthieu's vision and his team brought our love story to life. His artistry, passion and 360 vision are amazing. After the wedding, we had many requests to post the video. We had some feedback that ranged from sentimental tears to hollywood flair. Matthieu not only captured our "moments", he most definitely captivated the viewer to express their emotions as well. read more

Matthieu was our wedding videographer last year and did an amazing job capturing everything on our day! He is professional and super enthusiastic, which helped make the day run smoothly for us. He even helped out on one of our decor issues (our wish tree had a malfunction) and was just great to be around! You definitely need that positive energy on a potentially stressful day :) He has been in our family for some time as our wedding videographer and his end product has always been pretty awesome! Never outdated. You can watch his videos from several years ago and it still looks good. I'd recommend Matthieu as your wedding videographer if you really cherish wedding videos!
