I called him up, it took 2 calls to have him call back. Then we set up a time, he came over, we agree on a price, and he said he would be back 'sometime' in the next week to start. Next week came, and I gave him until Wednesday before calling, then I called for the next 3 days, each time leaving a message, asking for the courtesy of a call back- which he never did. He could have even responded and said he was no longer interested so I could start looking elsewhere. And it was a super easy job that someone else started 2 weeks later. So effectively I lost 3 weeks waiting for him, and then finding someone else. His price included a hefty premium as well that I had agreed to just to get it done. Bottom line, Cronin is unreliable, he might do good work if you can get him there, maybe? So if you are not in a rush, or don't have a problem being blown off, give him a go!

He quoted and gave excellent instructions on all the material needed so he could do the job without running to home depot. Its always scary trusting someone to do work on your home, but this guy was friendly, didn't rob me, and did quality work. He also wasn't afraid to commute to southie from billerica (it seems i'll never escape my tewksbury roots). So contact him if you have a project!
