Solid Mexican food In Moncks Corner area. We sat at the bar and the service was meh... The bar area is dope with plenty of TVs. We had a Texas Dip and the Chicharrón meal. I love this spot. It's right in front of my neighborhood and it's just easy and quick. The food isn't the best but it's great enough for my Mexican food fix. The staff is always so quick and so friendly. Good usually comes out within minutes of ordering. The drinks are always ice cold and the ambiance is fun. The fajita quesadilla was great. The margarita was good, and strong. The chips and salsa... eh... tasted a little weird to be honest, but I liked it. It was different, but really good. We have been customers since the day they opened. Food isn't the best but basic Mexican food. Today when I ordered the same thing we always get shrimp quesadilla with the shrimp on the side. I was told they could not do that but could not explain why. I explained we have ordered this meal probably 50 or more times in the last 3 years and never had an issue. Not that it means much but we will not be back, apparently you can not substitute or have special request for anything on their menu. Beware before making the trip to this location you will be highly disappointed I recommend driving across the street to ANEJO TACOS & TEQUILA they have no problem with special request or substitutions. read more

I have to say, I am sick of going to this restaurant and ordering a taco salad with chicken and having the server tell me they cook the chicken with onions and peppers! Seriously I don't like peppers! The waitress said I could get grilled chicken with an up charge if I preferred. I said ok as I thought a dollar or two would be ok, no when the bill came it was $3.00! And, in the meal it was the same chicken I had gotten before in a burrito and didn't look or taste grilled. Although the restaurant is nice and clean, I'm tired of telling the lady at the counter when paying about the problem and all she says is, it's the owner. I told her to tell the owner to stop putting onions and peppers in shredded chicken and cook it without and she just gave me, the look. This restaurant is now dead to me! I'm tired of being treated like an idiot when paying so much money for a meal! More people need to voice their opinions!! read more

I eat here all the time. They have great margaritas. Staff is good. The food is good. My grandkids love it. From the wings to soup to fish and salad shrimp it is all good. Including their salsa. The only thing I have ever had a problem is when there is a new person and they do not ask about what you ordered that is different from menu version. Also stay away from rush hour. Very close by restaurant to me that I will go back to. Had chips and their 2 different types of salsas, a small queso, and their soft chicken (shredded) tacos with rice and beans. Plus their house vodka and soda. The service, atmosphere (sat at bar), and tacos, rice. And beans were great. Only reason for the 4 stars is the 2 salsas tasted like something I could get in a jar, nothing special and didn't taste like the typical freshly made salsa at other restaurants. Plus I couldn't tell much difference between the 2 they gave me. I know a lot of people are salsa nerds when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Horrible experience. They close at 10 pm. I arrived at 9:30 (alone) to walk in and place a carry out order. One taco. It didn't matter what I was getting tho - the waiter greeted me at the door (by that, I mean walked up to the door, giving me a dirty look), and looked me in the face as he locked the door on me and the hostess smirked and hid. I had 30 minutes left to place a to go order for one item. Based on their normal all star rushed customer service - I could have been thrown to a seat, bad drinks given, order taken, and served my whole meal within 4 minutes anyway - and all I wanted was a taco, to go. Taco Bell is better than this place. I really liked them before, but that rudeness is unacceptable. If you don't want someone coming in THIRTY MINUTES (not 5) before you close, then close up 30 minutes sooner, friends. read more
