This establishment my parents frequent as much as they can. The food here is good. I usually get the nachos. But the other food items are still just as good. The pico de gallo is spot on, and all the ingredients are seasoned well. There's horchata and Jamaica aqua Fresca for drinks along with canned soda or the fountain machine. I usually like this place the food is cool nachos are also perfect ! Today I tried something different and got a chile relleno, combo plate . The food was alright when I went to the chile relleno I got a mouth full of seeds it was like rocky and not right . I gave them a call to tell them about it in hopes of a resolution and all the girl on the phone told me that they're fresh peppers and they do not clean them out.? Mind you we make these at home with fresh peppers and clean them out before stuffing the cheese inside ? . Now I'm not talking just a few seeds. The whole entire thing is full of seeds. I liked the food here. The really tall girl was super sweet. I was coming here everyday for lunch until the shorter girl. The one with freckles had a bad attitude. I asked for a bottled water with my food which she hadn't changed only charged the food. I'm not going to swipe my card for a bottled water so I say oh I'll just take a cup of water. No big deal but she rolls her eyes & puts the cup on the counter all pissed off. I just left the cup because it was clearly a problem. Love this location of cinco de mayo. Weve been frequenting this location for years at least once a week. Some employees even recognize us when waiting in line for our pickup. We always call ahead as usually they can be swamped. Cost is average and worth it. Have yet to have anything on the menu that hasn't been good. The only downside lately is that they haven't had any of the green salsa available when they ask if you want salsas. The green is truly the best and comes on most of not all of the soft tacos. Usually always get carne asada tacos or burritos or salad lol something with carne asada. Their carnitas are also amazing. read more

Some of our favorites to eat are the shrimp burrito, smothered tamales, bean and cheese burrito, hard chicken tacos, grilled chicken nachos, and enchiladas. I have eaten here for 15 years. One day I got a wet BCR with black beans to go. When I got home I started to eat it and it was so delicious!!! 1/3 through the burrito, I but into a rock!!! I called to let them know, the girl that I was speaking to just said "ok, I will let the kitchen know". The manager ended up calling me back to discuss what happened. Good price. Spent less than $30 to feed three adults, mostly tacos and a burrito. To go orders come with complimentary chips and salsa. The bag of chips is a bit skimpy (maybe like 8-10 chips). Crispy tacos very tasty. Stuffed with meat and topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Comes in ground beef, potato or chicken. Chicken a bit dey and bland so I recommend either the beef or potato. I'll be completely honest with you the tacos and I have had beef, chicken and even the potato have absolutely no flavor. The rice and beans were tasty. This place is legit! I don't get out in Martinez a lot unless I'm at Walmart shopping. Wifey treated me out to lunch. Her co workers order from here every week. One day she brought some salsa home from here. I tried it and I was like thats delish! If the salsa is fresh and this good I'm sure the food is smackin. Pulled up here they have a couple of tables outside to eat. The staff were friendly, nice simple menu. I noticed the phone orders coming in and the take out that's ready to be picked up. Good sign a place like this stays busy and most all consistent. I've only had one thing here and it was the Asada Torta. Nice soft roll and the ingredients to make this was fresh. I wanted to like this place so much! Their prices are reasonable and they have a big selection on their menu. Unfortunately everything I ate tasted like cleaning solution and chemicals. I'm not sure what solution they use to clean their fryer but everything I ate that was fried (tortilla chips, the shell of my taco salad, the crispy taco shells) all tasted like cleaning solution. I always hit this authentic delish place on my way to the movies at contra costa cinemas .. I almost always order the yummy, comfort food crunchy chicken tacos to sneak into the movies and eat quietly .. this time I ordered the bean dip with chips and it was to die for .. warm gooey cheese in a wonderful refried bean that was thin enough to easily slip the chips into without breakage .. that is not an easy task ..
