The food was alright when I went to the chile relleno I got a mouth full of seeds it was like rocky and not right . I gave them a call to tell them about it in hopes of a resolution and all the girl on the phone told me that they're fresh peppers and they do not clean them out.? Mind you we make these at home with fresh peppers and clean them out before stuffing the cheese inside ? . Now I'm not talking just a few seeds. The whole entire thing is full of seeds. I have eaten here for 15 years. One day I got a wet BCR with black beans to go. When I got home I started to eat it and it was so delicious!!! 1/3 through the burrito, I but into a rock!!! I called to let them know, the girl that I was speaking to just said "ok, I will let the kitchen know". The manager ended up calling me back to discuss what happened. Love this location of cinco de mayo. Weve been frequenting this location for years at least once a week. Some employees even recognize us when waiting in line for our pickup. We always call ahead as usually they can be swamped. Cost is average and worth it. Have yet to have anything on the menu that hasn't been good. The only downside lately is that they haven't had any of the green salsa available when they ask if you want salsas. The green is truly the best and comes on most of not all of the soft tacos. We eat here 2-3 days a week for lunch. Friendly staff. Nachos are made to order meaning if you call it in they make it when you arrive. Some of our favorites to eat are the shrimp burrito, smothered tamales, bean and cheese burrito, hard chicken tacos, grilled chicken nachos, and enchiladas. Crispy tacos very tasty. Stuffed with meat and topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Comes in ground beef, potato or chicken. Chicken a bit dey and bland so I recommend either the beef or potato. I called in a order 6 grilled chicken crispy tacos I know I said grilled and I know she repeated back grilled chicken well I pick it up go home and they are the regular chicken which I don't like so that is why I know I said grilled chicken. Well I called told them and they were going to give me the right ones but then called said that it that they cost more for grilled so here I'm thinking ok well I would have to just pay the extra because I had already paid for the ones I didn't order but I get there and they tell me I had to pay 27$ for the grilled ones which I didn't think was right because I know what I ordered but the girl said that I said ok when she had repeat it back to me which she said 6 grilled chicken crunchy tacos so of course I agreed and how is it my fault that she didn't put grilled and if when she repeated back to me grilled chicken the correct thing I ordered if she would have repeat crunchy chicken tacos I would have said no I want grilled chicken but it's her word against mine so it did no good to continue arguing about it and I paid another 27$ more to get the ones I ordered and the other ones I paid for went to waste because that is not what I order. I wanted to like this place so much! Their prices are reasonable and they have a big selection on their menu. Unfortunately everything I ate tasted like cleaning solution and chemicals. I'm not sure what solution they use to clean their fryer but everything I ate that was fried (tortilla chips, the shell of my taco salad, the crispy taco shells) all tasted like cleaning solution. This place is legit! I don't get out in Martinez a lot unless I'm at Walmart shopping. Wifey treated me out to lunch. Her co workers order from here every week. One day she brought some salsa home from here. I tried it and I was like thats delish! If the salsa is fresh and this good I'm sure the food is smackin. Pulled up here they have a couple of tables outside to eat. The staff were friendly, nice simple menu. I noticed the phone orders coming in and the take out that's ready to be picked up.
