Flying out of Indy tmrw, so we ordered Door Dash (to the hotel) from Cinco de Mayo. Boy, did we hit pay dirt... CDM was some of the best Mexican we've had in a while. Fast service (less than 30 mins for delivery) and really well priced, particularly for the amount of food you get. We ordered the chicken fajitas and chicken quesadillas and it was easily enough food for 4 people (plus it comes with chips and salsa, which was phenomenal). $50 for all that food is a complete deal in today's day in age of customer price gouging... Glad we found this lil gem. We'll def order again when flying out of Indy. Highly recommended and worth the stop or order, especially for the quality of the food - Two thumbs up. read more

What a fun and delicious spot! We were greeted promptly and led to a table, then almost immediately given chips and salsa. The atmosphere is festive and not too loud despite having a lot of tables and space for bigger groups. The menu is varied and large yet has some great specials and lunch options. We enjoyed their veggie fajitas and veggie enchiladas very much! And the flavors were great as well as being charred just perfectly (as often veggies are over or undercooked). We will be going back and will meet friends here as it is a delightful spot for some yummy heart warming food! read more

You will find this spot off of 135. This is your typical Mexican food restaurant with the complimentary chips and salsa, nice margaritas and colorful decorations. The restaurant has a full bar with seating, a decent sized dining room, and a patio area with seating. There is an adequate sized privater parking lot. The restaurant has a wide range of menu items including burritos, tacos, salads, chimichanga's and fajitas. The salsa that comes with the chips that they give you is thick and has a bit of a kick like I like it. I ended up ordering the El Cinco Steak, with a side of fries. It took me a while to decided because the menu has a lot to sort through. The food was prepared very fast. I would say about 5 minutes and it came of hot and fresh. Normally I am a fan of Mexican steak, but not in the case. The steak was watery and really did not have much flavor to it. As far as the fries go, fries are fries. They were good, but it is hard to mess them up. The service was decent. My server was friendly enough. The food is very reasonably priced though. A 3 star rating means that the place is ok and that is a perfect description of this restaurant. Compared to many of the other Mexican restaurants that I have visited, this was the middle of the pack. read more

Stopped in after the lunch rush at around 1 o'clock. I ordered a horchata and asked her to please do not sprinkle on any more cinnamon on the top, she said we don't do that, it's premade and we just pour it in the glass and I said ok, some places sprinkle cinnamon all over the top of it and I don't want that and she said she wouldn't. And then she delivered me a horchata with cinnamon sprinkled ALL OVER THE TOP! WTF! The salsa was bland and had no real spice, it was kind of sad. I ordered the Al pastor taco meal. Sadly, they don't put in the extra time to do the Al pastor the correct way, on a spit, however they did put actual pineapple in theirs, some places leave it out. Again, sadly, it was so bland and dry that not even the pineapple helped. Too many good Mexican restaurants to go to, I won't be back. read more

Great new Mexican place! I had the Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice) and it was perfection; tender grilled chicken pieces served over rice with queso poured over the top. A simple dish that is fantastic when done right. Had to have a few ice cold beers as well. Served with a chilled glass. The décor of the place is nice as well - mixing elements of old an Mexican joint with brightly colored murals and rustic booths. All in all, a very nice, clean restaurant with good food and great service. Wish we had a place like this in our home town. read more

I stopped by recently because of the reviews wanting some good Mexican food. Unfortunately, this establishment will not be on repeat visits for me. The platter of refried beans were served cold. The shredded beef enchilada was also cold and the meat was stringy and tough--very much so that I could not eat it. The taco shell on my ground beef taco was not crisp and warm but tasted stale. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Service also once I ordered the food was very slow which may explain why the food was cold. As far as ambience goes they do have an attractive restaurant but what you really go for is great food and it is not. read more

I wanted to like this New Mexican place that was pretty close to my house, but I can't. I had chicken nachos that had lukewarm shredded chicken and watery queso on them. One of my fave places to eat! The staff is amazing; very attentive, kind and quick. The menu has many options. And the meal always arrives at the table hot, fresh and delicious. The bar is well stocked, with lots of different liquors to chose from. (Their margaritas are a little overpriced, but extremely tasty). Highly recommend! read more

This used to be my goto restaurant for any night I didn't feel like cooking, but after tonight there's no way I'm eating here again. I ordered the carne asada taco dinner (rice beans cheese). When I opened it at home I found two large slabs of rubbery meat which were half fat and gristle; even my steak knife couldn't do the job. No tacos to be seen. It's obvious they were very cheap cuts that had the living Jesus cooked out of them. Oh, and they were totally unseasoned. My rice, beans, and cheese were cold, like sitting on a counter without a heat lamp cold. I live around the corner. It took me two minutes to get home. And yet somehow the cheese was congealed because it was so cold and the beans and rice were countertop cold. Know what I think? I think I got repurposed leftovers, maybe from an event or over stock pre-prepared for the day, instead of fresh food. They sent the garbage out with the takeout orders. But there's no way that was fresh food. No way. Cold, nasty, ruined crap. They can keep my $20 because they're not getting another dime in this lifetime. Threw the whole thing in the trash which is where it should have gone before they tried to serve it. read more
