We looked at three different stores and ended up going back to Cincinnati Overstock Warehouse a second time when we were searching for a sectional. The staff was not pushy at all and were all very welcoming. We came back after falling in love with a sectional, but didn't love the color of the one on display. Tyler, the manager, helped us order it in the color we wanted and was willing to answer any of our questions. We felt the selection was great, and the prices were even greater. We got our sectional for half the factory price. While we hadn't anticipated waiting weeks or months for it to arrive, we're hoping it will be worth the wait when it does get delivered. Unfortunately, the pandemic really put a damper on the furniture industry and delivery times, so it's across the board and not just Overstock with long wait times at the moment. read more

Sales staff blatantly lied to us. Promised us 4-6 weeks delivery, when I called customer service they told us it would be at least 5 more weeks. We're now on week 10 with no answer of when it's coming in. I'm fully aware of Covid putting things on pause but the customer service lady even said "yeah we need to talk to our sales reps, they've been lying to people. They know better." I also straight out asked the sales lady if they couch would get assembled upon delivery. She said yes, 100%. On the receipt it says assembly not included so I turned my phone on and recorded her promising me it would be assembled. After reading some other reviews, I doubt they assemble it so I'll bring the recording of her lying to the proper parties. Don't get lied to by these people. While the store does have a good selection their service and customer experience is awful. First they rang me up with the wrong delivery rate I was quoted then I had to correct them to get the actual the sticker price. I was told I would get a call about delivery within 48 hours since it was in stock and it took them 5 days. After that someone from the store called me saying they quoted the wrong delivery price and they needed to collect 35 more dollars. I argued with them saying that's their fault and I wouldn't pay it but they responded with refusing to deliver. I had no choice but to pay. The furniture does not come assembled which they failed to tell me at the time of purchase but it is in the print on the contract. If I would have known I would have never paid $100 for delivery of a box. Once I got the table I had to put it together and noticed the bottom frame was broken. I sent an email to their warranty department with a description and photo of the part. They responded saying they would send out a new chair and I emailed black explaining again that was not the correct part per my original email. They sent me the chair anyway and never responded to my last email. Horrible experience from start to finish. I wanted to come back to furnish the rest of our new home but it was such a hassle that I won't be coming back. read more

Hi, to whom it may concern. I purchased a bedroom set from Cincinnati Overstock Florence Ky, from Donna (salesperson), she helped me tremendously. Fast forward to the delivery date (they were on time as stated). I saw the truck pull up on camera, so I came and opened the door. One of the drivers said, "oh I thought you was a boy, and I was wondering why you haven't shoveled your mama's driveway". Fast forward to me opening the bedframe only to discover I did not receive all the hardware needed to assembly the bed frame. I call Cincinnati Overstock Florence Ky and the person answering the phone stated that I need to send an email and she would provide me with that email. I emailed the warranty dept and received a prompt email back from Patrick and he stated that "I needed to take pictures, circles the screws that I did not receive and send a serial number for the bed". I ask him if he could call me, and he stated that "he is not allowed" and my thoughts "What kind of customer service is that" Patrick is definitely not a people person. I won't be sending anyone there. It's bad enough that I knowingly made a purchase of over $1500 with no refund. I did not know that that came with no verbal conversation either. I went to that hardware store with my drawing/ paperwork for the bed and the gentleman there helped me pick out the screws that I needed. I Tried calling Donna the salesperson who helped me form the beginning to share with her what happened, but to no avail. I then went back to the store on their next day they were open, and I met Ciera (salesclerk) and Ben (I'm thinking Maintenace). I asked Ciera if she would not mind if I looked at the bedframe to see what the exact screws look like, and she obliged. Ben walked over and I stated to him what happened, and he was kind enough to go the back stock room and give me the screws I needed. Thank you, Ciera and Ben, for being so NICE AND UNDERSTANDING. Needless to say, I returned the screws I purchased back to the hardware. At best for the weeklong drama that I had to go through; I should receive a partial refund for the mental anguish and having to sleep on an air mattress because I had no bed to sleep on. read more

Never!!! Order furniture from here. I have been waiting four months for a couch and still have yet to receive any sort of timeframe on when it will be delivered. They tell everyone an estimated 3-5 weeks until delivery, it has been 16 weeks for me and still nothing. I call every week to check on status - customer service is horrible. After three months they offered a $50 comp... honestly doesn't mean anything when it's a $1000 couch. Only advice I have is to make sure they have it in stock before you buy. Or shop somewhere else. read more

So far I have mixed reviews. I purchased a dining room table and 10 chairs. The salesman was courteous and helpful, not at all pushy. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. I was disappointed but I also wasn't in a huge rush. The table and chairs were delivered within the delivery date quoted. Some assembly was required but no biggie. The table and chairs looked great, they were solid and looked higher end. The one issue however, is that one of the wooden chairs has a defective piece. So I contacted the warranty department the next day to let them know. I did everything they asked, I took pictures and sent them my order number. They acknowledged that the piece was defective and advised that it would be another 6-8 weeks for the delivery of the new piece. This is the issue I am having and my reason for only three stars. I feel like the manufacturer should expedite this issue as it is their error and I've already had to wait 6 weeks for delivery and another two weeks for them to acknowledge there was an issue. I ordered the table so we could have the family over for the Holidays. I ordered it WELL in advance and yet I still won't have all 10 chairs in time for Thanks Giving dinner. In my opinion, having to wait 6-8 weeks to fix THEIR mistake is REALLY bad customer service. I am not sure if the hassle is worth the discounted price. In the end, I am sure I will be happy with my purchase. I just wish I didn't have to go through the hassle. Five stars on the quality of the table and level of service I received while purchasing the table and chairs. One star for the Warranty Department. read more

Don't let the one star fool you, it should be zero stars. I purchased a sofa and recliner from Cincinnati Overstock on 3/20/21. They were delivered on 3/27, the sofa was correct but the recliner was not. I called the delivery service and told them, they told me the delivery team would have to come back and get the correct one and bring it back to me. That never happened. Now the real fun begins. I called and left a message on Sunday and received an email Monday from the warranty manager (?) asking why we refused delivery of the recliner, but in their email it states they know the wrong recliner was delivered. Monday at 5:00 pm someone calls from the warranty department and asks the exact questions the warranty manager asks, and we explain the whole situation again. I decide to go back to the point of purchase Monday before they closed and spoke to the manager. He called the operations manager at the warehouse and verified my recliner was there, even took a picture of the box the recliner was in, complete with SKU number. Today (3/30) I receive another email from the warranty manager basically saying the manager at the Florence was wrong and my recliner is not at the warehouse and they will have to order it. The thing is you can't call and talk to anyone and I'm getting two different stories from two different people. read more

I will NEVER purchase from here again. It has been the most frustrating purchasing experience of my life. Here are the good points: *very nice furniture *reasonably priced *friendly sales staff *laid back store (not pushy at all) I just wanted to list those so you understand that I am a reasonable person! Now, as to why I won't ever purchase from them again. I selected a couch in May of 2016. I was disappointed to learn that it would take 6 weeks to deliver, but it was such a good deal I agreed. There was little to no communication as I patiently waited 6 weeks. I called around the 6 week mark and was told the actual delivery window was 6-8 weeks. That was annoying, but I waited. It was finally delivered around the middle of July. And it didn't fit through my entryway! My bad, I know. So I went to select a different sofa. The replacement one I picked was about $600 more but it was a four piece sectional so I knew it would fit! I was told the wait was 2 weeks. What's two more weeks when you've been waiting all summer, amirite? So two weeks goes by. I call and am told that it's there ready for me to pick up as soon as it's paid in full! Say what? I financed it so I was confused. Plus I had already paid for delivery so I was even more confused! This back and forth went on many times. I was told they had corrected the confusion on their end, would wait a week and call back to hear the same thing. I finally had to reach out to the store manager I purchased from and she got it straightened out. It was delivered on September 7, 2016. That's not the end of this ridiculous experience though. I had specifically requested for the delivery men to help me move my current furniture to the dumpster in my apartment complex. Not even 1000 ft away. They charged me $50 and said they preferred cash. I only had $25. So I gave them $25 cash and $25 on a check. I felt I was being scammed the whole time since the first delivery company was not going to charge anything to remove the old furniture, but at this point I just wanted this experience to be over. Today the delivery guy called me, (now two weeks after the delivery) bc I wrote a check from a closed account mistakenly and he wanted to stop by my home or work to get $25 cash. Are you kidding me!? No. I offered to PayPal pay it or to mail it but finally agreed to drop it off at the store. The check was written out personally to him btw. (Scam!) On top of all of this, when they came to make the delivery I was on my way home from work. I had to leave early to fit their schedule and they came 15 minutes early. I requested they wait until I get there and not enter the house where my 16 year old babysitter was with my 5 year old daughter. But when I arrived they were already in my house, completely disregarding my request. So I will never purchase from them again. This 5 month ordeal was absurd. We recently ordered a large number of items for our new home. Two of the items were delivered with defects. They are telling me to get the items replaced I need to go through their warranty company, which is a labor-intensive process I don't feel I should have to be burdened with. I ordered new furniture and waited a month for it to be delivered damaged. I will never use them again. They don't stand behind their merchandise. Not worth the savings! I thought I would give everyone a heads up and DON'T SHOP AT CINCINNATI OVERSTOCK!!!! We ordered a sectional and it took many weeks to come in. When we got the sectional, a piece was broken. Okay whatever mistakes happen.... famous last words of mine. When the correct piece came in (many more weeks later), it was the WRONG color and style!! I was livid at this point. Again many weeks MORE went by and the finally got my piece. Great! Until the delivery guys FORCED it into my house and broke my wreath in many pieces. I contacted them about the wait and broken wreath I had and I wanted some kind of compensation.. all they could offer was a 25 dollar credit or 50 dollar gift card (LOL). I raised hell and they so generously gave me a 50 dollar credit. Which didn't even cover the materials it took to make the wreath. We also ordered side tables and the peices were damaged as well. We've had enough with them and just flat out returned the side tables (which we were quoted 10-15days and it turned into 4 weeks)We would of done the same with the sectional but we unfortunately actually liked it a lot and just wanted the complete set. We just didn't know it would take 15 weeks... I also shared my anger on their Facebook page, stating 'maybe you all should stop doing so many damn giveaways and actually compensate the customers you've screwed over'. I'm now blocked and can't post anymore on their page Please save yourself some hassle and just avoid at all costs even if the prices are tempting. I ordered a couch from them and the couch itself is very nice and I'm happy with it. However the delivery service they use is the worst delivery service I have ever seen. When they came to deliver it and found out it wouldn't fit in the elevator and they would have to use the stairs they got very upset and started trying to persuade me to return the couch for something smaller. After asking them to use the stairs they "attempted" to make it fit and said after 2 minutes that it won't. So they loaded it back on the truck and took it back. I called cincinnati overstock and they said they only use the same delivery crew and that if they said it won't fit it they won't deliver it. The next day I rented a van and moved it up the stairs with the help of a friend and guess what? It fit. If a professional delivery service cannot move a couch up a flight of stairs and I can then maybe I need to become a mover because that is ridiculous. Be warned if paying for delivery because they will do what they can to not deliver and still charge you for it. read more

Ordered a couch and loveseat over a month ago and was told I would have it in 10-15 business days. Finally I contact them last week and my couch and loveseat is supposed to be in by the following week, awesome. So I call back today to confirm and it turns out my couch will be in this week BUT my loveseat (part of the same set as the couch) for some reason is going to be an additional 2-3 weeks?? Even through they were ordered on the same day... Instead of going ahead and sending me the couch so we have something to sit on we NOW have to wait for the loveseat to come in which was supposed to come in with the couch in the first place! Look if you can pick it up that day and drive it home I recommend this place because of the prices, but if you have to order and wait on something DON'T BUY FROM HERE. We purchased a living room set from them on the 7th. Was told it was in stock shouldn't take too long to get. We paid the $99 delivery fee. Delivery people called on the 11th said they would deliver on the 16th in between 8 am and 4 pm, so I stayed home all day and no delivery or phone call. I contacted overstock customer service, a total of three times. The first time I talk to somebody she was right. The delivery company was right. The only people that was wrong was our customers. Second lady I talk to really nice and understood so she would relay everything to the management team probably did not happen. Third time I called back and talk to customer service again I honestly believe it was the same person as the first time everything was our fault. Nothing was on overstock or on the 3rd party delivery company. Wanted to talk to manger wasn't able to until Thursday, everything was Thursday, so I said yes please have manger call us on Thursday, she said okay they will call on Thursday at 11 am and now 3:30 still no call, we wanted a refund, but if we do that it is a 25% restocking fee, even though the stuff is not in our possession, still in their warehouse, guess that's how they beat the system of ripping people off by trying to piss them off and steal 25% of their money. read more

Will NEVER shop here again! Purchased a 5 piece kitchen table and a sectional couch (loveseat and chaise lounge) from them on 2/20/2016. We had just moved into a new house. When we bought the furniture the guy ringing us up said it would be about 20-30 business days for everything to be in and ready for delivery. On about the 28th day we had not heard from anybody so my husband called. Customer Service told him it would be about 4-6 weeks (total) for our couch to be in, but our kitchen table was in if we wanted to go ahead and pick it up. We figured no, we would just wait for it to be delivered ALL at once. The man at customer service said that the couch should be in by Saturday April 2nd. Come to find out we had TWO ETA dates on our receipt looking back: We had 4-6 weeks and then we had "we estimate 20-30 BUSINESS days before your item(s) are available for pickup or delivery. So here we are April 1.... I called customer service yesterday (3/31) to see if we were still inline for delivery on April 2nd and that the couch was now available. The loveseat section is now in, but they just informed me TODAY that the chaise lounge that goes with the loveseat was NEVER ORDERED and it would be an additional 4-6 weeks for it to come in!! We are trying to get our whole ordered cancelled now at this point. They will be refunding us for the couch. They offered store credit cards, but I dismissed those. We will not be shopping here ever again. The fact that we had to call several times to receive bits of information was very inconvenient. Very frustrated and still without furniture in our new house. read more

I don't plan to buy furniture here ever again. When I bought a sofa I was given an estimated timeframe of 3-5 weeks. It took over 7 just for it to come in. I called multiple times, was given incorrect info about when to expect it each time. I paid over $100 for delivery and now I find out the delivery company is going to make me wait another week and 1/2 to have delivered. I should've just rented a Uhaul and done it myself. We were remodeling out family room and went to Cincinnati Overstock on February 1, 2016 to look at furniture. We found a very comfortable sofa, love seat, and rocker/recliner by Catnapper and ordered and paid for the three pieces. We were told that estimate for delivery would be 20 to 30 business days. After 30 business days and NO WORD about the status, we called customer service and were advised that the sofa and love seat were there but they were waiting for the rocker/recliner so they could deliver in one trip. At that time, we were advised that they were predicting May delivery. After several more calls to customer service, we convinced them to deliver the two pieces to us because we had company coming and NO FURNITURE! They did bring the two pieces with the understanding that they would bring the last piece around May 1 when it came in. It is now May 14 - AND STILL NO ROCKER/RECLINER!! read more

Wow what a horrible experience. Ordered a table on 10/25/2020. It was on backorder... which we understood. Then it was scheduled for delivery on 3/13/2021 and it never showed up. They stated the truck broke down. We had to physically go to the store because customer service would not answer their phone. When we got to the store they waived the delivery fee and stated they would call us on that Sunday with a new delivery date. We didn't receive a call until Monday. They delivered the table on 3/15/2021. Three of the chairs were damaged and we were told they would contact us about next steps. No phone call. I called on 3/19/21. They lady was helpful but did not hold up to her commitment on calling me by 5:30. She stated she waived the delivery fee... which had already been done and also stated she said she met her commitment on call me back. She called me back once I drove up to the store and complained to Tyler the store manager about the issue. Tyler stated that warranty would reach out this week. They did not. They lady on the phone also said she would reach out to me by Monday 3/22/21 and still has not. Now I'm on hold with them dealing with this again. What a terrible experience. I ordered platform bed online. 2 weeks later, I had to email the customer service department asking for an ETA of delivery. I was told that I should have received an email with the ETA. I only received email confirming my payment and order. I was told the ETA was 3 months after I ordered. The bed was delivered per the ETA but there were parts missing so they could not put bed together. I then had to wait another 2 weeks to only get a temporary bed until the part comes in. Now the ETA for the correct part will not be delivered until July 20. This is a major inconvenience because having to take of work for delivery and not to mention a small room with only a bed and a wall full of boxes with only part of the correct bed. No space in this little room. I cannot get a refund because I was told the issue is being taken care of. I will never recommend Cincinnati Overstock to anyone and I will not be back. read more

We went to Springdale store and purchased a Couch and chair. when paying we were told it is 1-2 weeks for it to come in, but because of holidays it may be 2-3 weeks but most likely before Thanksgiving. My wife and I just recently purchased a larger home and we are in the market for a sectional for our living room. We had looked at Value City Furniture and Ashley Home Furniture, sure we had seen things we liked but the total package just wasn't there. We had been previously to the Cincinnati Overstock warehouse to browse when it was previously located near the airport off of Mineola Pike. So when we heard they had moved to nearby Kohls off of Turfway in Florence we were ecstatic. We decided to go in there on Sunday to see what kind of deals we could get for a sectional and ottoman. We were immediately greeted by the General Manager and was very comfortable explaining what we were looking for. She allowed us time to browse at our own pace while showing us a few floor models. The customer service was top notch overall. Plus the price on the same model of sectional we decided on was at least 300-400 more at Ashley Home Furniture. We will definitely purchase from this store again, and recommend this place to our friends! read more

We bought a table and six chairs. The price was good and we were told we would have to wait some time for it to come in but we figured that it was worth it because their prices were so good. It actually came in earlier than expected. They were very helpful at the store and when it came in they had us check over the table top while it was in the box. Once we got it out of the box to set it up a couple days later I noticed a scratch on the tables edge. That is our fault for missing it but they only took the top off the box and the side damage was easily missed. One of the chairs also had wood cracked and peeling away. After issues with their email and multiple calls on hold to try to get a different email each time I was able to send in photos of the damage. I was told I had a one year warranty and they would get back to me. I end up hearing the chair would be replaced and the we would be issued a credit for the scratch. When I asked if he scratch could be repaired they said money was the only option since it was up to the manufacturer. I would have appreciated more information on why one was replaced and one was not. As a customer it just seems they didn't want to spend the money on the bigger item. If I buy again I'll make sure to get their warranty in writing. read more

If I had known ordering and receiving furniture was going to be as difficult as it has been with this company I would have paid more and went somewhere else. I ordered and paid for a bedroom set on July 23. I was told in 2-3 weeks I would receive a call to set up delivery. After 4 weeks I called to find out where my furniture was and all they said was that the time frame given was only an estimate. 2 weeks later, 6 weeks after purchase I received an email to call and set up delivery. The day before it was to be delivered they called to tell me the nightstand had arrived to the warehouse damaged and it would be reordered and in no later than September 16. Well today is October 5 and it's still not in. The woman I spoke with today at customer service at least had the courtesy to find out why. Apparently the manufacturer didn't tell them that it is on back order and it will be another 2-3 weeks before they have it in stock!!! She offered to send me a $50 gift card. I laughed! I will NEVER shop here again. I will tell everyone I know about my experience and pray that they listen and don't buy anything from this company. They don't care about their customers at all. If they did, they would make sure that this didn't continue happening. read more
