    Big hardware store with items like a meijer but without the food. Not well organized. Register setup is crazy. No self-serve open. The cart and yourself goes straight to the cashier unlike a grocery store. The person in my line was super slow, so I moved. I did find some prices better than home depot.

    Brand spanking new location which rivals that of the second newest in Mason. It might be slightly bigger, but layout is the same. I've had great experiences at other occasions so had to check it out! For Menards newbies this is a much different take on the home improvement store. Sure they have the staples like lighting, paint, outdoor etc but add in other things such as food, huge pet section, kitchenwares, and even clothing/toys in small quantities. They have great regular prices, so sales on top of those are even better. Keep your eye on the weekly ads for 11% off everything sales and rebates (sent back to you in form of store credit). There's always something new! The staff at the new location, was helpful and friendly. They were fabulously knowledgeable this being a new store and all. While I was there a crazy storm blew up, lightning poss struck the building and power went out to backup generators. The staff was calm like nothing had happened and still got everyone checked out efficiently! Very impressed!

Their mechanics did not look at it til mid March. I was promised it would be 2 more weeks. In two weeks, I was told a part needed to be ordered and it would take 2 more weeks. It has been 2 weeks! I called today and the excuses are: * their head mechanic no longer works there * the work order for my lawn mower was just given to the mechanic now. * the will hopefully call me back to tell me the progression. I believed this shop was a decent business--as it is not a chain and I would receive a more individualized service than the big box service stores. I WAS WRONG! This place charges more money for everything they sell. They cannot seem to get their employees to get the job done and are too good at making excuses! They offer no solutions--just excuses no matter who answers the phone! The holding time to speak to someone is ridiculous by the way--8-9 minutes and still no answers! Save yourself time and money! Run! Don't walk to the nearest exit! RG Hauck

Saw works great now. They even gave me a gift card because of the terrible experience that I had with my saw not being sharpened. The problem has been taken care of and I have finally gotten the service that I have previously paid for. They provided great communication, and went the (literal) extra mile to get a grill from another store, assemble it, and drop it off to my dad a day early. In a time when every business is struggling to find help, this store rallied and proved their commitment. Thank you! Original: Unbelievable. I ordered a grill to be delivered assembled to my father on Father's Day. Two days before Father's Day, I received an email that says, "hey, we are sorry, but your order is canceled." When I called the one 800 number for customer service, the response was, "Yes, it is canceled. And we cannot reactivate a canceled order. Is there anything else I can do for you?"
