I booked her "Day of Coordination" package, but her support extended way beyond just the wedding day. I came in with a clear vision and main vendors picked out, so I mainly needed a pro to step in, handle my DIYs, and execute a 200+ guest event. Very few weddings take place at our venue, so the fact that Jen had already worked there showed just how experienced she is. She vibed with us from the very first phone call and filled every gap--from instantly recommending a fantastic alternative rental vendor to dialing in our timeline. She was always there as a grounded, reassuring presence whenever I started overthinking. On the actual day, Jen and her team (Nicole and Mimi are absolute rockstars!) ran the show effortlessly. They even stepped in to bustle my dress so my bridesmaids didn't have to, doing it in record time and giving me more time to actually enjoy cocktail hour! Nothing went wrong--or if it did, I was completely unaware because they kept us so at ease the whole day. Plus, they made sure we were fed! I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you!!!

We started planning in late 2019 for an October 2020 wedding, but we all know how that story ended. She worked tirelessly to make sure every single detail was perfect and exactly as we wanted it to be. She also offered her own personal, creative touches, many of which we used in our wedding design. Jenny was there for us at every venue tour and every vendor meeting to support and guide us through the complex and sometimes overwhelming process of planning a modern wedding. She even sent a beautiful gift to our house on our originally planned wedding date to cheer us up! Her hard work and support didn't end on the day of our wedding, as she and her team made sure our wedding was as special and as memorable as possible. From day one, they brought a rare mix of calm, focus/precision, creativity, and total dedication. What they pulled off for our 200-guest "California Coastal" wedding at Calamigos Ranch in the mountains of Malibu was nothing short of extraordinary. Flawless isn't a strong enough word because it implies a flaw would have been possible. From the layout to the flow, the band to the officiant and live performance, every single element felt effortless because behind the scenes, Deborah and Valentin were orchestrating every detail with incredible foresight and care. One of the many ways they went above and beyond? Helping us lock down an after-party venue before it had even opened to the public. Thanks to their local connections and creative problem-solving, we were able to tour and book a brand new space that turned out to be the perfect end to the perfect night. They handled vendor coordination with military-grade precision -- making sure timelines were tight, contractual requirements were met, and everyone was fully in sync. Their planning calendar kept us on track without ever feeling overwhelmed, and their taste level and attention to detail gave us full confidence from start to finish. On our wedding day, we didn't have to think about a single logistical thing. We were able to be present, soak it all in, and truly enjoy the moment because Deborah and Valentin had already thought of everything. If you're lucky enough to work with them, you'll understand what we mean when we say they don't just plan weddings...they make magic. We are forever grateful and recommend them fully. Always being positive and optimistic, she's an entire support system in one person! She's far more than a coordinator but also a source of comfort when nerves run high and she's everything we could've wanted from a coordinator. During our wedding she shielded us from a lot of things that I'm sure could've taken us away from our day, all the small things with vendors/rentals/layout/communication was executed perfectly, she has great attention to detail with emails/paperwork leading up to the wedding and maybe most importantly she really made sure that day-of we were going to have the BEST time of our lives, and that's exactly what happened. She really wants that for her clients, she's the first person we hugged after our ceremony and for good reason, because she's knows our wedding journey more than anyone, and she was along for the ride the whole time... never complaining and always having a positive uplifting can-do attitude. Even things like the rehearsal day before where all family is meeting for the first time, you can really see how pro she is directing people like a high production broadway show. Words can't express how grateful we are for Deborah's work on our wedding at the Maybourne, handling all the switching and nuances of a very complex wedding with all the vendors/paperwork/performers involved. Funny story: My now-husband and I were originally going to go with a different wedding planner…read more That planner sent over the contract for us to sign, but after finding multiple mistakes in the contract (misspelled names, incorrect dates, and fudged numbers), I no longer felt comfortable working with them. I thought to myself, how could I trust them to organize the biggest event of our lives if they couldn't even get these simple details right? So we let them down as gently as we could, grit our teeth, and dove back into the search. Enter Heather. She came recommended by our photographer team, and after our initial interview with her, I had a really good feeling. Her background at the esteemed Beverly Hills Hotel spoke for itself, and she came armed with a litany of questions and suggestions. The proposal and contract that she sent over was the kicker for me. Both documents were intensely thorough, to the degree that I looked them through and thought, here is a woman who has thought of everything. That was exactly the kind of person who I wanted planning our wedding, so we took a leap of faith and signed her on. Now that we're on the other side of the wedding, I'm pleased to say that I was spot on. Heather is absolutely the person you want as your wedding planner. She is diligent, experienced, professional, and fastidious. No detail was too small for her to notice, or too insignificant not to warrant a follow-up. She maintained painstakingly accurate records throughout the entire planning process and juggled all of the communication with our vendors, and all the while she kept us apprised of everything. She used a shared live spreadsheet as our wedding organizer, allowing my now-husband and I to track every change and reference every different aspect of the wedding in one place. It was incredibly useful, and at a certain point of the wedding planning process, I was checking on it at least once a day. We signed Heather on in April 2024, when we only had a venue and a photographer. Our wedding was a short 5 months later, and while we found all of the vendors ourselves, the day itself came together largely due to Heather's organizational efforts. We faced several tricky issues, such as our venue coordinator not being particularly responsive, but with Heather there to smooth things over, the issues never became real problems. We had an absolutely wonderful wedding day, and while there are a few small things that I'd change if I could do it all over again, I'd book Heather again in a heartbeat. She's an absolute rockstar, and I couldn't give her a higher recommendation. Thank you, Heather, for helping us put on the wedding of our dreams! We couldn't have done it without you.
