My choices were the whipped feta appetizer, butternut squash bisque, and a 5 ounce filet mignon with asparagus and whipped mashed potatoes. The true star the show were the delicious Japanese milk bread rolls. The toasted sesame seeds were perfection. My steak was cooked to order medium rare. It was money . For cocktail I had the cucumber press it was light and crisp, soo refreshing. Our server was fantastic. This is one of those fancy restaurants when you get up to use the restroom they come back and re-fold your napkin. No details went overlooked. Love the ambiance. It's low-lit, intimate, and they have a pianist playing music in the center of the bar, but you can still hear it throughout the restaurant. We took the triple chocolate mousse cake to go and it traveled well and was a great treat to share after such a lovely evening out. Highly recommend- Pro tip- get there early as parking gets hairy.

This time, there was zero recognition, which was really surprising and took away from what should have been a memorable celebration. Unfortunately, the service that day was also very poor. We're usually quick to recommend Jags because of how consistently great our experiences have been, so it was especially disappointing to leave feeling this way. Hopefully this was just an off night because we really do love Jags and would hate for one bad experience to change our opinion of a place we've driven two hours to visit so many times. We'll definitely think twice before making that drive again, though.

The dish had seven little artichoke quarters drowning in Alfredo sauce. The artichoke was sweet and tender but all that sauce really overwhelmed it and this app is overpriced for the quantity. Later I realized we could have had them served with EVOO and parmesan which I would have much preferred. It was disappointing that the waitress didn't ask which preparation we wanted, and that the kitchen apparently did not ask her, either. Our two pasta dishes were delectable and the amount of protein was quite generous. We both loved our sauces, and the spicy Italian sausage (house made!) was out of this world. They sliced it nice and thin and there was so much, I was really in Heaven. The fettuccine and the capellini were done to perfect al dente. Our waitress did a great job and checked on us often. She was handling several tables and was constantly on the move but kept up well with all her guests. I was thrilled to see Limoncello cake on the dessert menu but a bit shocked at the high price.
