We came here in March, and didn't realize that most of Bryce was still frozen over. The location…read moreof this BW is literally at the entrance of Bryce Park, and I can't find anything bad to say. Plenty of parking, and there's even a Phillips 66 gas station next door with actually very competitive prices. There's no restaurant on property but there are some across the street, and the front desk provides a list of local eateries. Tip: The Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant - located 4 miles away on route 12 -was an excellent choice. Our king room was spacious, plenty of storage, and 2 sinks in the room. The shower had plenty of hot water and ample water pressure. The toiletries was lemony, citrusy which was pleasant to use. There was even a fridge and microwave in the room. I was quite impressed on the breakfast buffet. They literally had everything you could think of for breakfast, from eggs, sausage AND bacon, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit, fresh yogurt, yogurt in a cup, juice, cereal, breads, donuts, potatoes, and so much more! Even the coffee was good... not weak at all. There are a few feral cats on property and I was so sad they had to stay out in the cold, huddled under our cars for warmth. Aside from that, it's an excellent location. Staff was friendly, but not overly chatty.

This hotel had one of the best hospitality and customer service. Special thanks to Brent and his staff for taking such good care of me and my significant other during our stay. We could not have asked for a better experience in Dodge City. A kitchenette for the price we paid was unbeatable.

Comfort Suites - Vent in bathroom was nasty. Appeared to be smoked in.

At least before his time in Tombstone, Arizona... but more than anything we needed a place to lay our heads until the next morning, and the next leg to Durango, Colorado. Overall, this was an AOK, 3 Star motel with a 5 star fellow running the front desk. We found plenty of parking in the back for the truck and trailer, parked along the curb/back fence. This also seem to be at the spot that most people relieve their dogs, and clearly, not many of them bothered to pick up after their pets. Step lightly. Once inside the lobby, as I said, the guy behind the desk was very friendly, and as we would find out later, very helpful. for whatever reason, they gave us an ADA room, so lots of floor space, wide doors, huge bathroom. Beds were comfortable, and the air conditioner worked. we ended up spending quite a bit of the evening in our room, after discovering that there really wasn't a whole lot to see in Dodge city, Kansas. maybe we just didn't look hard enough? Highlight for the trip was visiting the DQ, so there's that. One tragic flaw in the room was that for whatever reason, the television would turn off for no reason every few minutes or so. We called down to the front desk, and that nice guy informed us they were having some Internet issues, but he would try to reset it, etc. I checked the wires, and found that the HDMI cable was sort of loose; I even grabbed some tape out of the camper, just sort of hold it in place. A few minutes later, the front desk fellow knocked at the door, and asked if it was improved. At that moment, it kind of seem to be doing OK, so we thanked him for his kindness... But the TV kind of kept doing that on and off things sporadically until we shut it off for the night. Not an absolute dealbreaker, but kind of important when you've been in the car for nine hours, and just sort of want to burn out to bad hotel TV. We would totally stay here again if we needed to, but With the price of diesel these days, I can't imagine planning a trip cross country with a stop in dodge city again.

The room was rushed and not really clean. Stains on couch. Water stains on shower doors. 2. The breakfast is not as promised. The reason given was Ag Dept shut us down but other hotels in this town are serving. 3. Front desk is frazzled and showing it.
