One thing about me is I'm going to find a cigar shop before I leave any city or country I visit--and this trip was no different. Let's start with the service. Before arriving, I called to confirm their hours, and the person who answered--who I later found out was the owner. He was warm, welcoming, and very pleasant over the phone. That first impression carried over into my visit. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and given a personal walkthrough of the humidor. The owner went into detail about the humidor, which I truly appreciated. Being from the U.S., we technically can't have Cuban cigars, so it was a treat to see such a large, well-thought-out selection available here. Beyond the Cubans, the humidor was well-balanced with both legacy brands and boutique options. Pricing was fair, and the variety of sizes gave plenty of choice for every kind of smoker. Overall, I was impressed not only with the selection but with the customer service and genuine hospitality I experienced here. This visit made my trip even more special, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. read more

Shopping for Cuban cigars in Niagra Falls ON can be problematic as many are not authentic. Cigar Experience has genuine Cuban cigars of a few brands with reasonable prices. I have a photo of a robusto Cohiba below with a view of the band. I hope you can appreciate the vibrancy of the orange, Raised lettering and hologram on the band. The cigar is triple capped and symmetric. Forgive me for not cutting it open, but trust me it smoked nicely consistent with a hand rolled tobacco. Service was excellent and helped with selecting cigars I know and some I did not. Parking is plentiful and just a short jaunt from the hotels. Highly recommend you shop here for cigars read more

We received amazing service and good information from him that ultimately helped us decide what to purchase. The name doesn't do it justice. I enjoy a cigar from time to time and being a Yank I don't get the chance to get Cubans at home. Was on my way to a wedding and hopped the border to grab some Cuban smokes. I met Josh and he was easily one of the most knowledgeable men I've ever met when it comes to cigars. Was able to point me in the right direction. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed the cigars I brought. I will happily be visiting again the next time I'm in Niagara Falls. Also, not to denigrate the fine people at the duty free but I was told to avoid buying cigars at duty free because they weren't stored properly. That person was right. I went to the duty free after cigar experience and I would've picked up a few more as they were inexpensive but every single Cuban there was cracked. A real disappointment and a great reminder that a shop like cigar experience is worth it every time. If you're paying for a cigar whether it's $4 or $40 you want to be able to actually smoke the thing and that's why I'm coming back. Also, thanks for the tip on the Nanaimo bars. Very nice quite spot spot a mile or too from all the tourists. Excellent cigar selection. Great selection of Cubans in all price ranges. Excellent location. Well worth the 5 min drive from the hustle and bustle of the resort area. There are quite a few locations advertising cigars but they are more like convenient stores. This is the real deal and by far the best. There's also a nice seating area outside for you to sit and enjoy your cigar. My wife and I were visiting Niagara Falls for the day from New York and I always like to find a cigar shop if I'm in a new area. I'm rather new to cigars so it was nice to find this place. It's right around the corner in a quiet part of town away from all the tourist stuff. I walked in and spoke with Josh. He was with a different customer at the time but was still professional enough to greet us when we walked in and quickly came to help us afterwards. Josh was extremely passionate about his craft and you could really tell that he loved cigars. It's always the best to talk with someone who smokes and enjoys cigars than some 18 year old kid who just knows the price of the Swisher Sweets at the counter. They have a decently sized humidor and a great selection of cigars that had my mouth watering. I wish I had an infinite amount of money to spend in here. They have a good selection of mid-tier cigars and high end cigars as well. Would love to try some of the Cubans and aged cigars sitting on the higher shelves one day! Josh was super knowledgeable about every cigar in there and was nice enough to offer his opinions on cigars that I might like based on what I've had. The prices were a bit high, but I'm a bit spoiled in the States anyway. Considering the experience I had with Josh and the atmosphere of the place, I would gladly pay a bit more. I'm not sure if you could smoke in the entry way but there 2 chairs outside with an ashtray that you can relax at, at least. I ended up buying 3 cigars and I can't wait to try them. I call Evan from Buffalo to ask what time the store is closing. the store usually closes at 6:30 and his reply was "I will keep the store open until you get here." He did because he really cares about his customers! Now it is time to pick out some cigars and he is very knowledgeable and spends about 30 minutes describing the cuban cigars he has in stock. He went all the way from the machine made to the most expensive. I was in search of a true Cigar Lounge not some souvenir vendor selling cut rate bad stogies.. The Cigar Experience was the perfect place. I jumped on the Green line WeGo bus at the falls, wife in tow and headed north to Queens Street just out side of the touristy falls area. I got off the bus walked 3 quiet blocks and found my spot. If you are looking for cigars, go no further, this is the place. The largest selection of cigars I have seen in Canada. There is a walk in humidor and several cabinets, not to mention a wall of accessories (humidors, ash trays, cutters, torches, etc) If your new to cigars they can set you up and they even have gear for the experienced veterans. Now if you're an American and you want some cuban stogies skip the jabronies and come get the real deal. These are the best prices around. Evan and Alan can help you find a stick your sure to enjoy. These guys are actual cigar smokers, not just kids who are only there for the paycheque so they know their stuff. We had an exceptional time with Evan at the Cigar Experience on June 6. We attended as part of a bachelor party celebration. Our party were novices in cigar lore and understanding ranging from casual smokers to complete novices. With Evan's guidance and patience, we had a truly first class experience. We were presented with a generous range of options for our level of experience, palates and the nature of the occasion. Quality selections were presented to us at very reasonable prices, with several cheaper and better options sold to us over items that would not, for us, have been as worthwhile. The proprietors couple their great knowledge of inventory and selection with a true passion for cigars generally. Numerous varieties from Cuban to Nicaraguan and everything in between were explained with their indiviaul virtues, giving us a thoughtful and experienced view that helped us to make wonderful choices each for a truly memorable experience. Evan the shops owner is pleasant friendly and very knowledgeable about cigars talk to him a few minutes and you tell this is more then a business for him it's his passion.
