Before arriving, I called to confirm their hours, and the person who answered--who I later found out was the owner. He was warm, welcoming, and very pleasant over the phone. That first impression carried over into my visit. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and given a personal walkthrough of the humidor. The owner went into detail about the humidor, which I truly appreciated. Being from the U.S., we technically can't have Cuban cigars, so it was a treat to see such a large, well-thought-out selection available here. Beyond the Cubans, the humidor was well-balanced with both legacy brands and boutique options. Pricing was fair, and the variety of sizes gave plenty of choice for every kind of smoker. Overall, I was impressed not only with the selection but with the customer service and genuine hospitality I experienced here. This visit made my trip even more special, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

The cigar is triple capped and symmetric. Forgive me for not cutting it open, but trust me it smoked nicely consistent with a hand rolled tobacco. I have also used my credit card on the self-serve (it costs more) and have never had a problem with the card or the gas. The restaurant looks like a good place for breakfast. On your way there, stop at Hoover's in Sanborn for ice cream. Jay's is within the Tuscarora Reservation and has some tax exemptions that keep prices reasonable. The best deal is on propane refills.
