It's also right up the street from where I grew up, and where my family has established ourselves. It's in a great location! Getting in and out on a busy weekend might have you sitting a while, but usually people are nice about letting you cut through traffic. Watch out though! So many accidents occur in that small section on the Blvd. This is a smaller location, no new renovations have been done to it, that I'm aware of. With it being generally smaller than most locations, it doesn't have a public restroom. If it's really bothering to some, there's another location up the road with a restroom. To me, not a big deal. Staff have always been friendly to me. I tend to pay cash, and I've always had attentive service. In and out, no long lines, fast service. Really recommend this location.

SETTING: Randy's Smokeshop and Gas Station- Glenwood NY…read more Location layout-HUGE yard of gas pumps like the size of a fleet pump area for semis AND a cannabis smoke shop and other small buildings. 8 fuel pumps (4 double-sided pumps) plus two fleet pumps NW of the retail customer fuel pump location. Participants-My wife and I in our truck camper F350, one other cargo van getting fuel, and the fuel attendant. Scenario-We pull into the yard and to the closest pump to our driveway entrance which positions us facing west. We notice the credit card reader is covered and supposedly inoperative. We pull out of the fuel bay and and head north where there are two other fleet fuel pumps set up for semis but we realize they only take fleet cards not credit cards so we continue to circle around and pull into the pump next to the same unit as the cargo van. This puts us still facing west (the van was facing east). The attendant standing at the van walks around the pump to address us: Attendant: Before you get out of the vehicle, you should know we take cash, credit cards and debit cards, but the direction of traffic for the fuel pumps is to face East, so you will need to move. Us: (looking around the huge empty yard) Oh...ok. That's kind of odd since is there is no signs directing traffic flow and no other traffic. May we ask why? Attendant: It's the law. Us: The law? There's no signs and no traffic. That doesn't seem right. Attendant: Why is it wrong to murder someone. You can't kill someone. I have 6 kids and they ask me why and I tell them "because if F-ing said so". Us: Well that just seems a little excessive for an example. Attendant: That's just the way it is. Us: I tell you what we are just going to go down the road to another station. Attendant: GOOD Us: Thank you for you help (reach out to shake his hand-he won't take it). Us: Go smoke another joint. Bye.

After getting about 1/2 a mile down the road I noticed that my gas gauge had not moved after the supposed fill up. I assumed some fault with the gauge. I have the receipt and will follow up next time I am in the area. I am not optimistic there will be any resolution. Needless to say I won't be buying anything from Randy's in the future.
