He took a loan from the credit union for the rest. We informed them that he was 18 and we really wanted to make sure he got something reliable that he wouldn't be dumping money into right away and Dave told us he just had it in the shop mechanic replaced a few things and engine ran great only thing needed would be back tires everything else was great. So we took his word for that. 4 days into owning this car it lost complete power while our son was driving it and brakes quit working and luckily he was able to veer off the road before he went head on into a main road. We had it towed and Dave had mechanic look at it said he was puzzled but replaced a crack shaft sensor and charged us a 100 bucks and said they did this out of "goodwill" because we bought the car "as is". Dave said he isn't even telling Chuck he did this because he wouldn't allow it. Well 2 days later same problem so my husband looks under the hood and the battery terminals were completely loose which leads us to believe did they even look under the hood or just take us for 100 bucks. Fast forward 5 days. The engine completely BLOWS UP. We call Dave and Chuck say sorry nothing we can do you bought as is. Now reading through this company reviews this is not the first time they have done this to people. And they will comment on this " you signed as is" "you didn't purchase the extended warranty" - he did purchase an extended warranty 2 days after the purchase of buying the car because their warranty didn't cover nearly as much as we like we have a company we use and we like a lot but you can't use it until you hit 30 days of purchasing it. Also when you buy as is especially on something that is 7000 dollars you are hoping to get more than 15 days out of it!!! And those 15 days not having issues!!! So save yourself the comments Dave and Chuck. I am not sure how you guys can live with yourselves knowing you basically stole from a poor 18 year old kid starting out in life but hey more power to ya I guess.

I remembered several people chiming in how great Cragon Automotive is, and they were very kind to me on the phone when I reached out for another automotive issue prior. So I got Kevin on the line as he was returning from a trip to get some parts. Listening, he expressed empathy and asked me to drive over there and he would at least get the window taped up. The challenge was- I have a Hybrid vehicle, and that special battery is located right underneath the back seat. In other words- any rain will kill my car getting into that battery- or at worst provide a rather "electrifying" experience- and not of the good kind... BUT- leave it to Kevin here, and his "three wise men" to not only secure the car with heavy plastic over cardboard, sealing it tight- but he kindly vacuumed out the back seat that was still covered with glass. He is going to get back with me once he is able to get a quote for parts to replace the window. Over and above! I also noticed they had an excellent price on Cooper Tires- so I'm saving up for those after this phase is through. Excellent service to a slightly traumatized female (me) and friendly guys all around, who took care of me even though they were clearly very busy. I know why they are busy too- honest, kind and thorough. I watched them greeting customers who were picking up as I was waiting, many friendly conversations were had. It shows you a lot about a business. So if you want an honest, fast, ethical resolution to a car problem- please give them a call. I think you'll stop right here as you'll be well taken care of. (1000 miles 50/50 for major components). The signing of the papers and the inspection were brief as the dealer told us they support their cars and used cars go through a very comprehensive inspection process, (plus we wanted to respect their time for staying to the last minute to close, plus we were told they will support us for 30-days. We drove 90 miles to pick up the car. Having a high level of trust in people, and when buying from a dealer, one would think you are covered and taken care of. After driving it home that evening, we noticed something just didn't seem right. My husband immediately called the next morning asking for support (including sending them videos of the engine issues). Sales, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, Service, General Manager all ignoring my voicemails and emails, as we got passed back and forth and ignored for days. The dealership staff that we dealt with, all the way up to the General Manager continues to ignore my emails and voicemails. After speaking to and sending a lengthly email to Ed the GM, he acted like he knew nothing about my situation, rushing the call, saying he will look into to it, and rudely hanging up! They dismissed our request for support and we had to put $1800 into a vehicle that was only owned for 15 hours with less than 100 miles of driving. The staff was absolutely rude. Horrible customer service!! I would never recommend buying anything from this dealership! I have purchased dozens of vehicles in my years and this by far is the worst experience I've ever had. They are not interested in making it right and just don't care! 3-weeks later and zero resolution or support! I waited to submit this review, believing they would make it right and they have not even tried!

Also, I had a tilted wheel and dusty and Steve's said I needed sway bar links replaced. My new mechanic said the control arm Dusty's had replaced previously was on incorrectly and that's why my tire was crooked. I did not need sway bar links. Also, John replaced my exhaust before and what he ordered was too short so he welded a small pipe to make it fit and he said what he welded was a catillitic converter and no it wasnt. Also they repeatedly installed an incorrect part on my sisters car. They charge $50 just for grease! Takes a week or two for them to get to your car. I dont recommend
