My new mechanic said the control arm Dusty's had replaced previously was on incorrectly and that's why my tire was crooked. I did not need sway bar links. Also, John replaced my exhaust before and what he ordered was too short so he welded a small pipe to make it fit and he said what he welded was a catillitic converter and no it wasnt. Also they repeatedly installed an incorrect part on my sisters car. They charge $50 just for grease! Takes a week or two for them to get to your car. I dont recommend

This is a shout out to Davis Towing, LLC in Ashtabula, OH and to their amazing driver, Mike. For…read morethe second time in my life I broke down in Ashtabula. The first time was back in 1972 or 1973. This time, at exit 223 on I-90 in Ohio I had my alternator fail which was at once unfortunate and pretty amazing. You can drive for quite a while on battery power but it does eventually run out. The tow truck company sent Mike who on arrival tried to get the alternator fixed by a 24 hour shop but they did not have the part and would not have it delivered for two days. On hearing that news he said he would just fix it himself. He drove me to a hotel made sure I had a room then the next morning he called and let me know he was on it. He went to a parts store, picked up the part and by 10 am or so I was all set. It worked perfectly all the way home. Also a shout out to the Ashtabula Ward of the LDS church which sent the father of the second counselor in the bishopric to check on me ( I had called them for resource management reasons in case I needed information about local repair shops) that man was just a pleasure to talk to. He and his wife have 16 children - mostly all grown now and several were wrestlers so we had a lot to discuss. It was a welcome distraction. There are superb people in this world and I feel blessed to have met two of them in that situation which was a little stressful. The media makes you believe that this country is full of hateful violent people, it's not. The good people out there far, far exceed the bad. I am grateful for the blessing of being a fellow traveler with all of you.

I remembered several people chiming in how great Cragon Automotive is, and they were very kind to me on the phone when I reached out for another automotive issue prior. So I got Kevin on the line as he was returning from a trip to get some parts. Listening, he expressed empathy and asked me to drive over there and he would at least get the window taped up. The challenge was- I have a Hybrid vehicle, and that special battery is located right underneath the back seat. In other words- any rain will kill my car getting into that battery- or at worst provide a rather "electrifying" experience- and not of the good kind... BUT- leave it to Kevin here, and his "three wise men" to not only secure the car with heavy plastic over cardboard, sealing it tight- but he kindly vacuumed out the back seat that was still covered with glass. He is going to get back with me once he is able to get a quote for parts to replace the window. Over and above! I also noticed they had an excellent price on Cooper Tires- so I'm saving up for those after this phase is through. Excellent service to a slightly traumatized female (me) and friendly guys all around, who took care of me even though they were clearly very busy. I know why they are busy too- honest, kind and thorough. I watched them greeting customers who were picking up as I was waiting, many friendly conversations were had. It shows you a lot about a business. So if you want an honest, fast, ethical resolution to a car problem- please give them a call. I think you'll stop right here as you'll be well taken care of. This company was contracted to tow my vehicle by my HOA on Thursday December 11, 2025. While my…read morevehicle was was parked in a way that it was partially obstructing the sidewalk and I agree the HOA may have been within their rights to try to have it towed. T he tow company dragged my vehicle while it was in park. I was able to get my vehicle released before the tow was completed via a negotiated drop fee. However the driver attempted to charge me a drop fee of $129 originally which according to the OH revised code and the PUCO they can only charge for the tow if the tow is completed and then they offered to reduce the drop fee to $65 after a lot of arguing which $64.50 is the most they would legally be allowed to charge by law. They also told me it would be over $360 if it was towed which also violates the Ohio revised code and PUCO guidelines. They can only charge $129.00 for the tow plus $17.00 per day for storage and $25.00 administrative fee (administrative fee is only in some cases) plus they could potentially charge $150.00 additional, but only if I attempted to retrieve the vehicle after hours. When all was said and done I negotiated a drop fee of $24.00. However, after dragged my vehicle while it was in park now my brake light is on and when I requested their insurance information to file a claim and have their insurance investigate to determine what damage they did to my vehicle they refused to provide their insurance information. This company is a predatory tow company and I will be reaching out to the PUCO to file a formal complaint. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
